We stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor - no elevator. We had to hump our bags up 3 flights. The stairway to the 3rd floor was steep and narrow. The bed was way too soft, and offered no support. There was no fridge, which is a hazard if you needed to keep medications cool. It was very clean and the furniture was well-maintained. Great options on pillows

Overall great experience. Understandably smallish room which was more than adequate for my needs and certainly great for the price. Automated check-in and room access was flawless. Awesome to be able to park the car and walk wherever you wanted to go.

Everything was OK, I would rate it a 3.5. The room was very small but clean. There was no staff to check you in and it was hard to get parking as the restaurant below in the same building there was no parking available when we first got there. The area is lovely and the food choices were fantastic.

Très bien situé, sur la Main Street, se fait super bien à pied, chambre propre et conviviale. Toutefois, il y a 3 étages avec escalier étroit donc voyagez léger si vous hébergez à l'étage. Nous avions le déjeuner compris mais le restaurant était fermé à 10h le lendemain matin alors on a dû aller manger ailleurs :( Veuillez valider les heures de service pour déjeuner afin de ne pas vous faire prendre au dépourvu. Nous avons soupé sur place la veille, les moules, vol au vent et pâtes aux fruits de mer étaient succulents!

The boutique hotel provided easy self-check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Coffee and water were provided with an in-room TV. We had room 203. Excellent for two people for a short stay. No storage or closet available. The shower had tons of water pressure, so much so that you have to protect the sensitive bits. The restaurant downstairs, The Blue Lobster, has great service and excellent food. Lots of parking is available and it is walkable to cafes, pharmacy and other restaurants. We recommend a stay here.

There was a strong musty smell in the lobby but thankfully not in rooms. The room had a 2 inch gap between the door and floor so sound was a major issue. It was challenging to sleep. No blackout curtains. No instructions for the TV. Water pressure was very intense. Outlets to charge devices only on one side of bed. Overall on the surface a cute place to stay and take Instagram photos but not functional for sleeping.

The place exceptionally clean . Only issue was that we were supposed to get code for room( check in) at 3 and we did not recieve it until just after 5 pm. Otherwise we were happy. Bed was comfortable and he shower was great

Nice rooms in an old building that have been well maintained and probably recently renovated. Having no front desk is odd, but the system with the codes and lockbox worked just fine. I was in room 304 and wi-fi was pretty well non-existent (one bar occasionally), so I presume the rest of the third floor was likewise. We were there on a Friday night of a big local event (Shediac Witches' Crawl), so were subjected to the thump-thump-thump of drums and bass from the dancing room below, so getting to sleep was not as easy as it should have been. The Blue Lobster restaurant, which is in the same building, is a very nice restaurant.

This should have been a 9+ stay, comfy bed, fair-sized room, fluffy towels, nice coffee machine HOWEVER with no fridge or ice on site (We had throw out $40 worth of seafood.), a noisy improperly working AC, music from the bar/resto till 11pm and no hooks or anything to hang clothes or towels, cheap cute hooks are inexpensive, you know, and no one on site to help, this property gets a 7, at best. Its unfortunate as we were looking forward to our stay in Shediac.

Paid extra for the Premium Room, and we got nothing Premium!! Very light window coverings with NO blinds… so it was super bright at 5am. A/C was portable unit in the middle of the room with a thick hose across the floor to the wall. It was soooo loud we gave up and turned it off at 1am! When we complained to an email address in the morning, they said we should have contacted them at 1am or 5 am to move to a new room. As if we’d want to move rooms that late at night!! How about you just ‘fix’ the issues!?!?

The hotel room was quaint and clean. My only complaint is that the signage for the location is so small it can’t be seen when driving by. I wasn’t sure I was in the right location as it is also a restaurant. I was also not aware that the hotel is self check in with no reception area. I found this all confusing

We enjoyed our stay here, check in was digital and seamless, and the room was quaint but small. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. I would even stay a few nights. Restaurant is attached and at the back of the building. The Hotel portion was hard to identify as the restaurant signage was prominent.

We didn’t end up staying at this hotel. First, the hotel is not marked. No where could we find a sign indicating the hotel. Luckily the waiter in the restaurant located at the hotel showed me where the entrance was. The room was very small with a queen bed, a small folding chair, two tiny end tables and a tv on a stand and a bathroom. There was no closet, no dresser, no luggage stand, not even a hook on the wall. When we contacted the hotel at their phone number we could not speak to anyone. They would only text. Luckily the waiter also told us that the hotel across the street was affiliated with the Gabriel. Adrienne there was helpful and ultimately we were offered an upgraded room at the new hotel + the upgrade charge or a refund. We took the upgrade as we didn’t have any other option. They offered nothing for our inconvenience. The Tait hotel was nice. Adrienne at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. I would not recommend the Hotel Gabriel.

J,ai téléphoné au numéro de téléphone qui était sur le texto de confirmation de notre réservation et j'ai laissé un message vocal. je n'est jamais reçu de retour d,appel. grace a d'autre client qui nous ont expliquer comment procéder nous serions encore a attendre pour prendre possession de la chambre

We had a huge room and bathroom on the top floor. Very clean and up-to-date. Location is excellent - right at the start of the main downtown area. Very walkable part if town.

The hotel room was quaint and clean. My only complaint is that the signage for the location is so small it can’t be seen when driving by. I wasn’t sure I was in the right location as it is also a restaurant. I was also not aware that the hotel is self check in with no reception area. I found this all confusing

Overall great experience. Understandably smallish room which was more than adequate for my needs and certainly great for the price. Automated check-in and room access was flawless. Awesome to be able to park the car and walk wherever you wanted to go.

We enjoyed our stay here, check in was digital and seamless, and the room was quaint but small. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. I would even stay a few nights. Restaurant is attached and at the back of the building. The Hotel portion was hard to identify as the restaurant signage was prominent.

Très bien situé, sur la Main Street, se fait super bien à pied, chambre propre et conviviale. Toutefois, il y a 3 étages avec escalier étroit donc voyagez léger si vous hébergez à l'étage. Nous avions le déjeuner compris mais le restaurant était fermé à 10h le lendemain matin alors on a dû aller manger ailleurs :( Veuillez valider les heures de service pour déjeuner afin de ne pas vous faire prendre au dépourvu. Nous avons soupé sur place la veille, les moules, vol au vent et pâtes aux fruits de mer étaient succulents!

We enjoyed our stay. The onsite restaurant was very good. To better serve clients, we would suggest towel bars and a shelf or small cupboard in the bathroom. Overall a nice place to stay.

The boutique hotel provided easy self-check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Coffee and water were provided with an in-room TV. We had room 203. Excellent for two people for a short stay. No storage or closet available. The shower had tons of water pressure, so much so that you have to protect the sensitive bits. The restaurant downstairs, The Blue Lobster, has great service and excellent food. Lots of parking is available and it is walkable to cafes, pharmacy and other restaurants. We recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed stay didn't realize how small the room was .Parking shared with restaurant not ideal at all should have spots reserved for guests. TV difficult to navigate no max sound did figure it out but why go through aggravation. Very nice staff easy access to hotel great locale

Excellent location, close to restaurants, and excellent parking. The room was very small and difficult to walk around the bed, and limited space to put your belongings; however, the shower was great, the linens were really nice and there was a coffee maker. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent and had good quality food. The location made up for the small room.

Our room was spacious and there was access to a patio deck that gave a nice view of the sunset. The hotel is located just above a restaurant, but that did not cause any disturbance. We were able to find parking in the lit, but it might not be guaranteed depending on how busy the restaurant is. The room was cooled with a portable AC unit. It kept the room comfortable, but it is loud when on.
