I first walked into the place and it smelled like a very old moldy house, did not enjoy that. The rules was on the bed when we arrived late ,it said to order your breakfast on arrival, but there was no one there to greet up on arrival. The wall paper was falling off the walls,The bed was wore out 20 years ago.It was so dark on arrival that we couldn’t find the hotel because they had a sign that didn’t show up in the bark.we paid way to much for this room for sure. And the view from our window was a whole lots of boats. .I paid way to much. A lot better places to stay in Sidney that’s a lot better

Our stay at this property was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was in a nice area. However, our only complaints was that the balcony off of our room was covered in bird feces and had a strong odor. There is no air conditioner at this property so the windows had to remain open to cool down the room. So the smell from outside would come into the room. The mattress on the bed needed to be replaced as it had a large dip in the middle of the bed. With just a few minor changes this property could be excellent.

The Latch Inn. Is a lovely historic property with a rich history. It is a peaceful place to return to after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfasts were great and the service attentive. However, management would be advised to pay some attention to the upkeep of the property. Specifically, the bathtub in our room was out of order, the carpet was dirty and we were unable to watch TV because of poor Internet service. The ceiling tiles in the bedroom needed repair and the shower stall could’ve been cleaner. We ordered pizza for dinner and a frozen “box” pizza arrived. This is a beautiful property and it could offer so much more to its guests.
