Fuat Pasa Oteli - Special Category Bosphorus

Exceptional service. Wonderful location. Beautiful lobby. Comfy beds and linens. In room safe. Plentiful variety of breakfast foods in a luxurious setting, with Bosphorus view. There are little shops and restaurants and a small coffee/ tea garden Park within 200 meters. The ferry is just across the street and Sariyer downtown area is a brisk 15 minute walk.

Classy place, great staff, they make you feel like movie stars.

I stayed at Fuat Pasa for a wedding. The hotel is beautiful and although my room was on the smaller side, it was nice. However it did not have air conditioning as advertised, and when my partner inquired about this at the front desk, they took the safety off of our window so that it could be opened all the way. This did help get a breeze to cool off the room, but people kept smoking right outside the window so our options were to have the room wreak of cigarettes but comfortable temperature, or no cigarette smell but very hot 48 C. After speaking with other hotel guests who attended the same wedding, it seems that none of our rooms had air conditioning. If you choose to stay here and temperature is important to you, I recommend getting a room with an exterior window because guests who had an interior window said they weren't able to get their hotel room below 47 C. Overall, aside from lack of air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay. We didn't eat the hotel breakfast so I cannot speak to that.

Interesting building with history, ambiente and soul. Terrass with pool right at the Bosporus, good fesh breakfast, helpful and kind staff. Shower fosset needs to be repaired and/or bath refurnisched. A very tiny room, low daylight without an outside window. Window was to the inner hotel hall. For one or two night okay. But maybe / most likeley, better rooms are available?!? Finally, the Breakdance at the terrasse have compensated a lot.

The servers at breakfast buffet should be more proactive in waiting on the customers, not just clearing their dishes. Offering them another cup of coffee or tea. Instead of standing in the corner chatting with each other. Almost every day I had to tell them they ran out of coffee or cay. Also, the coffee machine that made special coffees, only worked 1 day out of 5.
