LOCATION! This hotel is right in the middle of the action, which is one of the main reasons we chose it. It turned out to be perfect for us in many other ways as well. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) adjacent to the deck area. Other guests obviously honored the "quiet time" rule, as there was never an issue with noise. The room itself was spacious, and with two queen beds, would have comfortably accommodated a family of four. Lots of storage space, and a nice long bathom counter. The weather was HOT and the air conditioner efficiently cooled the room. It was a bit noisy, but that didn't matter a bit! The toilet and shower were separated from the vanity by a sliding door with a tricky little latch. But there was very new tile, a great showerhead, and an effective fan! Breakfasts are served in a unique manner here: we placed our orders the night before from a menu of 5 choices. (we loved the waffle; the egg cups were great too!) Then our order could be picked up between 8 and 10 a.m. We took them to the morning-cool deck, but could have easily eaten in our room because TV trays were provided! Office staff were great--especially Edgar. We still owe him a beer. The only caveat is parking. There is a guaranteed spot for each room, but the lot is very tight, and when there are only a couple spots left, it can be tricky to squeeze your vehicle around the bend and into a parking place. We will definitely stay here again--highly recommend.

We booked a king suite. It had a jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace. Hotel provided bathrobes. Freezer in minifridge was huge LOCATION was wonderful. Staff was great also. Only Downside was the only rooms of this type are on n the third floor with no elevators. If you are fit enough i would highly recommend.

Ideal location , easy walk into restaurants. Outside seating for breakfast among the flowers , felt like Austria. To have the balcony in our room with patio door , made our stay more comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff very kind, and the location just cannot be beat. There was a great outdoor lounge area where we enjoyed our breakfast. It was also very convenient that there is an electric car charger on site.

The area is lovely. The jacuzzi was dirty. Didn’t use it due to hair stuck in jets and unknown chunks floating in the water. Also, very thin walls. Again,…the area…was lovely.🙃

We had a lovely quiet stay. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The shower was awesome! Parking was easy and very convenient. There were loads of restaurants close around that had great food. It was an easy walk to the shops and river park.Would definitely come back!!

This was an amazing trip! The room was clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. This was also the perfect location for being close to everything. Breakfast was an added bonus and they do a great job getting it ready for you in the morning with a lot of tasty options. This is a wonderful hotel right in the heart of the action! The staff were great, the breakfast was very good, and the hotel was clean and well kept. The patio is a nice feature if you are vacationing with friends or family.

The Inn is located in the centre of the town. It’s quiet and convenient. However, the rooms are very small. The door of the bathroom is a sliding door, and it can't be closed completely. This is the only annoying part.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Property is conveniently located. Rooms are very clean with mini fridge, nice bathroom. Beds are not comfortable, I’d recommend bringing your own pillow. The wifi doesn’t work. Even trying to use the TV, you cannot watch a movie/show. All in all it’s a good place for a great price.

Loved our large themed room with the fireplace and view over the river. On the negative side, it was a bit out of town. Parking was provided but not enough spaces for the number of rooms because of snow being plowed into some of the spaces. This shouldn’t be a problem in the summer.

The hotel has been updated not long ago and is very clean. There is no place to eat breakfast other than bringing your food back to your room, which is why they have tv dinner tables inside each room. The noise is easily heard from cars or people coming in and out of the hotel. Check in and customer service was great. Location and decorations made the hotel be part of the whole town Bavarian theme.

Everything was fine except for the Internet connection. We tried watching a movie, but it kept on hanging and then we’d have to restart and this happened for at least an hour so it took us at least three hours to watch a two hour movie. You should increase the bandwidth on your Internet service.

Did not stay, check in was late and I was asked to leave until I was called. Was called at 445pm to tell me the room was ready. The lady at the front office was plain rude. Didn't want to let me use the washroom after a 6-hour drive to get there.

We appreciated the customer service and attention to needs that staff had at Obertal Inn. One afternoon, there was a dog barking non-stop in a room next to ours. We texted the Obertal Inn staff and someone responded right away. The hot tub was really nice and useful especially after our long hike. Breakfast was delicious too and made fresh for pick-up in the morning. That was a lovely addition. We'll definitely stay at Obertal Inn for future visits!

BEWARE!!! Listing is MISLEADING and room is NOT IN DOWNTOWN LEAVENWORTH and not the same place as shown on the map!! It’s simply obscene and price gouging to be charging 5-star rates for a 2-star motel room more than 1.5 miles from downtown!

When I booked the reservation, I thought I was booking a room in downtown Leavenworth. We ended up outside of town, in a beautiful place along the river - but needed to drive back into town to get food, etc. Nothing is close by. So just be prepared for that. I don't know where I missed that detail in the fine print. Our room is great, just a different experience than I had planned for.

Ordering apple strudel and having in the room when I showed up was a nice touch. The breakfast set up was unlike any place I’ve ever stayed. The night before, you can sign up for 1 of 4 options. Then the next morning, grab your breakfast and eat on the patio. It was a nice touch!

Would definitely stay here again. Super well located to the downtown area, shopping and dining. The included breakfast was outstanding. I liked the outside deck/patio area. Check in and check out was really quick and easy. We pre-ordered the apple strudel and it was in our room when we arrived. Delicious!
