Danang Marriott Resort & Spa

I paid extra for a hotel room with an ocean view - which I got - but my view was directly into the top of the palm trees, so you could not even see any beach or ocean, despite it being right in the front of the hotel/room. No info or warning on this from hotel side when booking. Overall the hotel is okay, but not with a lot of “vibes” or feeling; the staff is nice, but no extra effort or information is done/given… information is also unclear.. not many hotel beds with sun - most are under threes are in the shades… There are plenty of pools, but none are designated for adults only (or opposite - a kids pool) which would be nice when your vacation goal is not to be disturbed by playing kids.. Enjoyed my stay for 3 days, but would not go back or recommend.

Nice place to stay

The staff was amazing from check in, to breakfast, dinner, writers bar, gym & spa, room cleaning & turn down service… the hotel is south of the main action, but a quick taxi ride and you’re in the middle. Again, the staff were amazing!!

The room was large and spacious with a lovely balcony.

Breakfast was great , but very expensive to buy. Hotel had no sporting equipment to use for free , when you expect it in a resort which is not close to the city centre. Was charged 800,000 VND for 4 people to play tennis($45) approx. this is a joke , to use the resort facility. Bar was nice , again very over inflated if you compare other 5 star resort in the area . Cleanliness was good no complaints there at all. Would I stay there again most likely not.
