It was very difficult to park. Nobody tells you anything and a lot of construction around

A great hotel with a good restaurant. Make sure to reseve your table becaus if it is busy you will have trouble finding a seat.

Modern hotel, big room, verycomfortable bed, Even my wife was happy. Friendly,professional staff.Good air cond.Location is right across street from Airport tram and 2 mins. walk to train stadion. To get to city centre go for Uber as tram is slow and crowded. Uber is 12 EUR. Had dinner one night in hotel restaurant. This was the best meal and the best service we had during the 4 days in Lyon!

Parking is a challedge, but other that that great hotel and staff!

Jolie chambre, lit au top, canapé lit simple. Très bon accueil. Parking sous l’hôtel idéal pour une venue en voiture, même si l’accessibilité n’est pas simple avec les travaux.

Parking is in basement but you have to go through a maze of doors and parking level was labeled-1 when it was actually -2. Room have no place to hang towels! Zero unless you hang towels on doors and not normal places. AC inadequate.

Very good hotel. Hotel had the parking, restaurant. The restaurant is very good. The room is big , clean. Staff is very friendly .

Séjour en famille dans une chambre complètement insonorisée des chambres et de l'extérieur. Le tram passe devant l'hôtel mais 0 bruit. Un photomaton à l'accueil pour faire des souvenirs (gratuit) . Café, eau de bienvenue. La salle de bains top avec des produits clarins. La literie et linge de lit top ! Parking possible et gratuit : il suffit de le signaler à l'accueil. Vraiment à faire et refaire.

Très bon séjour. Hotel propre et nombreux services. Possibilité de recharger votre véhicule électrique avec câble T2 j’ai réussi à charger à 11kW. Le forfait est de 6€/h un peu cher mais pratique. Équipe accueillante et à l’écoute.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Mercure. It was very clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the checkin and checkout processes were quick and easy.

Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und modern. Sehr zufrieden.

방에서 냄새가 좀 났습니다 시간이 지나면서 적응은 된 것 같았는데 첫 인상은... 역이 가까워서 좋았습니다 리옹 여기저기를 둘러보기에 위치가 아주 좋았고 공항에서 열차로 도착하면 바로 앞이라 찾아가기도 쉬웠습니다 주말에 숙박했는데 숙박료가 2배더군요. 평일이랑 2배 차이가 난다는게 이해가 되지 않았습니다 주말 가성비는 꽝이라고 생각합니다

We checked in late and checked out early. Hotel was cleaned..

We had 2 very comfortable rooms( a quad and a double) which had all necessary amenities. The AC was not strong enough but we were given a fan, which helped. Breakfast was of very good quality but missed some fresh salad and sweets (apart from croissants). Not sure it's worth the Eur 19.50 it costs! Location can't be beaten as it's only a couple of metres away from train and metro station, yet very quiet. Proximity of shopping mall and restaurants is also very convenient. Although there were a few homeless sleeping on the street, they never bothered us and we felt very safe, even at night.

We had an excellent three night stay in the executive suite; spacious and king bed was very comfortable. The bath tub is big for European standards and shower water pressure was great. Overall, we had a great time in Lyon and glad we had chosen this hotel as our base of exploring Lyon

Great location, clean and appointed. The shower is wonderful. Only issue was the sofa bed. We travelled with our two teenage daughters, who complained about it being super bulky and extremely noisy, even if they moved a little. Mercure should consider renovating them. Other than that, great stay.

Super close to the train station / car rental, so great for a quick overnight before passing on. The rooms themselves were large, comfortable, and well equipped.

Pros: - very conveniently located at the Part-Dieu hub for public transit and the airport shuttle Rhonexpress - very nice breakfast buffet, though it is unchanging day to day - generally well appointed room (though small to be called a suite) - water and nespresso coffee in the lobby much appreciated - restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful - room service was great evening of arrival - check in at noon is great for transatlantic guests Cons: - very poor ventilation in the room, it was uncomfortably warm and humid. This was brought up twice with the front desk (+once at checkout) - the attendant was quite rude and condescending about this (I’m not looking for freezer conditions, I’m quite happy at 23C, but the room seldom dipped below 27-28C). Very disappointing for this caliber of hotel… who knew that Mercure truly meant heat. - The shower drain is not calibrated for the water flow. Within 5 min of the mist spray (not the big shower head), water was already overflowing. Similar for the sink. - No Expedia VIP amenity (we were told that they sometimes offer parking, but that is useless, especially for travelers selecting a hotel next to a train station and transportation hub!$ - One of the lobby attendants (woman with large glasses working regularly on days and evenings of the week of May 26) was quite unpleasant, especially with regards to opening the lobby door for us on arrival. I can wait a bit if the front desk is busy, but she would make us wait 2+ min.

Rooms are small and AC not cold enough. Well situated for a 2 days stay. In and out when travelling by train is easy.

Best breakfast of all hotels we stayed at this trip. Hot foods, crepe station, many cheeses, and several breads. Staff very helpful. Tram and Metro stops nearby.

The staff are very courteous and professional. Area is awesome for shopping and across the train station. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Toilet and shower is separated - so awesome for family stay.

AC not working well in fact no air at all in room Very stuffy since windows do not open.

Our stay was good. The room was nice. The bed was two twins beds together that kept moving apart.

Front desk staff members were very nice and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. We loved the toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and hand wash soap). However, we were a bit confused when finding the parking. Overall, we had a good night stay here, thanks!

Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful due to obvious excellent management. They went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. The location was very good. We would not hesitate to stay there the next time visiting Lyon, or to recommend them to others.

How is this rail station dump a 4 star class and under Hotels.com VIP? Total travesty. No real service or luggage help, parking is a disaster, property is seedy and rundown, front desk is useless. 1 set of towels for 4 guests, 1 complementary water bottle for 4 guests. Total joke!

Je ne regrette pas mon choix d'avoir choisi le Mercure pour notre séjour à Lyon. L'hôtel est au pied de la gare Part Dieu, ce qui est fort appréciable lorsqu'on arrive en train pour se poser un peu avant d'arpenter la ville et très pratique pour le départ, sans se presser. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre, la salle de douche au top, les WC séparés un plus, le lit grand et confortable, le canapé lit très bien aussi, la climatisation très appréciable par ces fortes chaleur, tout comme le mini frigo qui nous a permis de garder des boissons fraîches. Le petit déjeuner était très bien et varié. Le personnel toujours agréable, souriant et serviable. Pour nos filles une gentille attention à notre arrivée. Les transports en commun sont à quelques minutes de l'hôtel. Nous avons hâte de revenir !

Safety is perfect. It’s very convenient to access everywhere in Lyon. The most grateful is the front staff’s flexible service when I came back to the hotel after check-out because of train trouble. I’m very satisfied to have stayed this hotel.

My family of 3 stayed for 2 nights and highly recommend. Pros: Location is steps away from train station for convenience. Spacious and best laid out room for small family. Room to move, small table and chairs to relax, comfortable beds. Surprisingly quiet. The room overlooks the city and train station but besides a light hum from the bigger freight trains, no noise. We appreciated the fun lobby with lizards and fish for kiddos. Area for improvement - the wait staff in restaurant could be a little more pleasant.

Hotel was convenient to train station. Slight distance to city center but easily navigable with public transportation.

This is a great spot if you're traveling by train. If you don't mind walking, it's also not far (40 min) from Vieux Lyon, with great restaurants.

Great stay in Lyon. Hotel is located 50 meters from Train station and also the train that takes you to and from airport. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was a hot weekend and the AC did not work almost at all but with the window open it was ok. Breakfast was very good but staff while Very friendly, was a little slow to keep area stocked. A parting gift of Pralines was a nice touch by the front desk. Overall would Definitely recommend.

Room was a good size, clean and with a comfortable bed. Bathroom also good and spacious. Breakfast a bit disappointing with poor fruit and bread selections and limited hot options - expected better for 20 euros. Restaurant also had limited choices and quite high prices so went elsewhere for our evening meal.

Merecedor de 5 estrelas. Ao lado da estação de trem , um pouco afastado do centro mas nada que tenha me atrapalhado. O melhor Mercure que já fiquei. Excelente café da manhã e restaurante. Fornecem água gratuita com e sem gás no lobby e TB chás e café. Quanto enorme com janela dupla isolando frio e barulho. Banheiro amplo, chuveiro maravilhoso e cama TB. O oposto do Mercure de Paris, no qual estou agora e é quase um lixo.

All were good with an easy check in. I love that we could check in at noon! Nice dinner, too.
