We enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location. Erin the manager so super nice. We only stayed one night but if ever in the area we will stay again. Oh… the pool and hot tub were very clean and well kept.

The property was nice! Not as walkable to the areas we wanted to visit, but that was our fault for not planning better. There’s still quite a few things to do around this property. Overall, the balcony was great, parking was easy, check in and check out was quick, they were very accommodating for our Great Pyrenees also.

My wife, my dog and and I had a great stay at the Wayside Inn. The Inn is just a short walk from a beautiful beach with easy access to great views of Cannon Beach's Haystack Rock. The town of Cannon Beach is a leisurely walk down the beach or a meandering walk through the neighborhood. The staff was very welcoming and provided a basket of dog supplies for our puppy. We look forward to staying at the Wayside Inn on our next visit to the area.

What a lovely little hotel, we had a sea view and slept to the sound of the sea! Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely. The only thing it didn’t have was breakfast, but we knew this when we booked.

Hotel was nice and clean, great toiletries and comfy beds. Our room had an odd smell but it was clean. The staff was impeccable! Full of kindness and recommendations. The only food place in the immediate area was Mo’s which was ok. You’ll need to dine in town before 8 pm since everything closes around that time. There is a really good market across the street that has a little bit of everything, including medicine. As the closest stores will be in seaside I found. Eat at The Lazy Susan or Pig N Pancake for breakfast. If you’ve got neighbors above you be prepared to hear them stomp on the floors while they’re awake. That was my only real complaint was the noise of other hotel guests stomping all day long. Welling distance to cannon beach, safe, clean and beautiful views!

Front Desk ( Great personality friendly and professional) this is number one for staying. Everything was great. Very clean rooms, building was very well kept landscape and parking too. Staff , house keeping , on top of there jobs. Be proud of this property.

The hotel is super cute. We were able to upgrade our room from a double queen to one bedroom with 2 queen beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette and pull out sofa. The property is nice, conveniently located across the street from the beach and across the street from a small grocery store. It is a perfect spot for a small family.

The hotel is a good choice if you want to stay in proximity of the beach. The building and the property feels a little dated. The property is located across the street from a public parking lot that has beach access and a restaurant. Good ocean views from the room if you are on the top floor though building does not have elevator. Room was clean with decent amenities. It feels a bit dated but you're mostly paying for the view.

We got rained out camping, decided to reserve a room for the remainder of the weekend. In my frustration, i booked for the wrong date. We shoyld up, the person at the front desk was wonderful! He got the date changed and had a room left! The room was beautiful

The "beach view" is across the street across a juge parking lot, pool & hot tub totally inconvenient in a different building. Bathroom was literally w/ toilet & tib 4ft by 4ft (tiny). No breakfast & unless you just want a place to sleep I dont recommend.

What a great location!! View of the ocean, playground across the street (which had some elk visiting), small market on the corner… room was simple and perfect. Coffee available all day and one of the days they had cookies at the check in. Rooms were clean and comfy.

We wanted a dog-friendly motel at the beach for a rainy couple of days, and Wayside Inn filled the bill. Their pet basket contained sheets to cover both beds, a pet towel, treats and poop bags and our dog felt right at home. It's so nice to sit at the table and look out over the ocean, even if there's a parking lot in between the motel and the shore. Plus, chocolate chip cookies in the office!
