The staff was very friendly, room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Marigold's Indian Restaurant is located right beside the Inn and is a must try. Food was full of flavour, absolutely delicious!

Check in was smooth and the staff member (owner?) was very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean and had everything I needed. Visited during an extreme cold snap so did not look around the area too much but the inn is situated right next to the lake and I can imagine is beautiful in the warmer months. Great value for money. I would stay again.

Owners were very nice and welcoming! Room was cleaned in a timely manner. The private beach is in great condition. The dock is very sturdy and the entire area has 3 pairs of chairs- so plenty of spots. We stayed in a room with 2 queens- which was on the top floor facing the street- but there are other more private lodges of sorts, closer to the water. Beds were comfy, TV worked, bathroom was nice. Room was carpeted but bathroom had laminate/vinyl. At the end of the beds, there were wooden benches to sit and put shoes on. Great little spot, felt very cozy to stay in for our mid week getaway!

Excellent room - very clean. Only problem was trying to figure out how to operate the TV. Staff was very pleasant and the fresh snow was wonderful overlooking the lake.

Room was very clean and tidy and gave the feeling of home. High ceiling, wood interior, cozy sitting area with fireplace. Private beach and nice walking area with a lovely little park and long beach for walking. Even out of season, it was nice to walk along the beach. Indian restaurant next to check-in was very good and staff at hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

It feels like a flippin ski chalet. Great Indian restaurant right next door. Close to the Churchills steak house. Older looking building but kept very well. Our room #202 was a king bed and very spacious.

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly upon check-in, and provided restaurant suggestions. While the hotel is in a quiet area a bit outside downtown, everything in downtown North Bay is a short drive away. The room was nice and clean. The private beach was a nice bonus. And the price was very reasonable. No complaints.

The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful when i asked about places to get breakfast the following day. We were just steps away from a beautiful lake. We were only staying one night and had arrived late in the afternoon so didn't have a chance to enjoy the scenery. The room was fine. Very clean. Bathroom fixtures were gleaming white.

This place was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here a couple of years ago and were very impressed so decided to return. We booked the last suite but it was on the second floor. No elevator, just stairs. We’re in our 80’s and the owner came out and carried every one of our bags, plus a heavy cooler, up the stairs without hesitation. We will stay there again.

We arrived early. We didn't expect our room to be ready. It wasn't but he did say he would have them ready first knowing we were already in town! When we arrived there was a man raking some dead seaweed and removing from the private beach! Water was clear and the whole area was Sandy and shallow in the little bay. When we checked in later we found the room was nicely laid out and super clean! I've stayed at some 5 star hotels and I'm pretty sure this was cleaner than most of those! Only complaint was the AC was a bit chilly but I didn't turn it down enough. We went for a swim. Water wasn't deeper than 5ft. So we could walk to a small island. Location, service and cleanliness were top notch! Would totally stay there again!

I was unaware it was not a pet friendly lodging when I booked..I was abruptly asked to leave when they saw that I had a small (10 pound) dog..they would not even allow me to finish my dinner unless I put my dog in my hot vehicle..no offer for any compensation or an extra charge for allowing my pet to stay..It was an absolutely horrible experience and the staff were unbelievably hostile..

This motel is right on the lake so we had a lovely view from our room. It was A quick walk to sunset park where we watched a bald Eagle in a huge pine tree and a glorious sunset over the water. Then back to eat dinner at the best Indian food restaurant I’ve eaten in for a long time it’s right beside the hotel. Try the mango curry and coconut Naan. You won’t be disappointed!!
