Für eine Nacht gerade so okay. Pluspunkt war das Parken(10€/Nacht) direkt neben dem Haus. Entfernung zur Mercedes-Benz-Arena ca. 15 Gehminuten. Kein Aufzug, keine Klima, viel Schimmel im Bad, Einrichtung sehr heruntergekommen, Sauberkeit mangelhaft. Würde das nächste mal lieber mehr zahlen & dafür in ein anderes Hotel gehen. Draußen ist viel Lärm nachts (das ist aber auch der Umgebung geschuldet). Kleiner Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher vorhanden(jedoch nicht benutzt, da Utensilien wie Glas und Tasse nicht sauber genug). Personal war sehr freundlich.

This was a good hotel to use as a base. The room I had was clean and looked as though it had been updated recently. The alley to access the keysafe is a bit daunting when used for the first time (out of hours for reception desk) but has good lighting. The tram I needed to use was right outside so it was very handy.The train from the airport stopped at the station which was around 10 minutes walk away. I was on the 4th floor and there was no lift so this floor not for someone with poor mobility.

Einfaches Hotel mit ausreichender Qualität. Das Personal haben wir garnicht gesehen, weil wir erst spät eingecheckt haben (21:00) und den Zimmerschlüssel über einen Schlüsselkasten erhalten haben. Dafür gab es netten Support per Telefon. Am Morgen um 09:00 war die Rezeption auch noch nicht besetzt und wir haben den Schlüssel über einen Briefkasten zurück gegeben. Die Lobby sah nett aus, wir haben sie aber nur von außen gesehen ; ) Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral, an einer großen Straße. Das Zimmer war aber ruhig und ausreichend sauber. Es gibt keinen Aufzug und wir hatten mit viel Gepäck einige Stufen zu überwinden, um in den vierten Stock zu unserem Zimmer zu kommen.

Sehr freundlicher Service, aber der Lichtmelder in den dunklen Fluren geht zu spät an, für Frauen eine blöde Situation einige lange Sekunden ohne Licht in langen dunklen Fluren zu stehen oder zu laufen. Sparen am falschen Platz. . Außerdem: Das Fenster war kaputt und konnte nicht geschlossen werden

For a one night sleep in Berlin it's more than ok. The interior is what it is but you have everything you need. I would say it's more a "party guest" hotel than sth for ppl staying longer in the city. the room was super clean, nice shower & the location is perfect to reach your desired spots. The staff was very friendly :) I would def stay here for another night bec the rates are super fair when you're not that long in the hotel anyways ;)

Ich und meine Freundin hatte das Hotel gebucht, da wir eh nur eine Nacht bleiben wollten und die Bilder anschaulich waren. Dort angekommen waren wir erstmal über den äußeren Zustand des Hauses entsetzt. Beim Begutachten des Zimmers der große Schock: Zimmer roch nach Zigarette, Tisch war dreckig, Gardinen waren beschmutzt (sah aus wie Flecken von Fäkalien). Wir haben uns dann ohne lamge zu Überlegen dazu entschlossen im Auto die Nacht zu verbringen.

Eine runtergewirtschaftete Absteige, die ich trotz der Nähe zu angesagten Highlights in Berlin nicht empfehlen kann. Mit einem Hotel hat dieses Angebot nichts zu tun. Das Bad war klebrig, die Dusche war schmutzig, das Bett wackelte und das gesamte Zimmer braucht dringend eine Renovierung. Prädikat Ekelhaft.

Das Zimmer befand sich in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Spinnweben, Schimmel, offene Wände mit Löchern und rausbröckelnden Putz und im Badezimmer war größtenteils Schimmelbefall. Die Dusche konnte nicht geschlossen werden, da sonst die Türen rausgebrochen wären. Die Zugänge zu den Leitungen waren dreckig, verkalkt und verschimmelt.

Badezimmer leider einiges kaputt, Fenster undicht und Abdeckung im Waschbecken fehlte. Sauberkeit war insgesamt aber gut! Leider zwei einzelne Matratzen (die sich immer verschoben haben, da das Bett keinen Rahmen hatte) im Doppelbett, statt einer großen.

The hotel was good everything worked properly and the little kitchen in the room made having breakfast so easy. The only problem was that the room was street-side and the noise in the night was quite loud. Apart from that I did not have any problem.

God lokasjon, hyggelig personalet. Resepsjon og trapperom lukter som et askebeger. Ingen heis. Gode senger, god størrelse på rommet. Dusjen lukter råttent egg de første 5 minuttene når du dusjer. Rommet hadde balkong, men andre rom kan få tilgang til balkong ved å klatre ut vinduet på sitt rom. Ikke trygt å sove med dør åpen. Vi hadde ukjente som kikket inn vinduet og døren vår. Mye støy fra hovedveien utenfor hotellet.

This is a no frills basic hotel. Clean and feels rather newly renovated. Sheets could be of better quality (my bed sheet was so thin it was basically see-through). There's no ac in the rooms so on a hot summer's day you would need to sleep with the window open. Bring earbuds if easily disturbed by the city noice.

For €80 per night, I expected better quality. We booked a studio but were first given a room without a kitchen, and one of the beds was broken in the middle. After that, we were moved to the correct room, which was larger and had a kitchen. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and clearly old. There was one small bed and one larger bed, both with poor comfort. In addition, the main shower head did not work, only the smaller handheld one. For a hotel charging over €80 per night, I expect at least comfortable beds and properly functioning facilities

The personnel was very helpful and offered a new room to me without me asking for it, when the first room wasn't in good enogh state. The hotel also have a perfect location I would say. Second time at Hotel Goldmarie and I would love to stay her again the next time im visiting Berlin.

Check-in is supposed to be possible from 2 pm. We had to wait 25 min until the receptionist turned up. Nobody answered the phone. The receptionist seemed inconvenienced by the arrival of guests. Or greeting them appropriately. 6 pm no hot or warm water available. Walk-through to back entrance seems to serve as public toilet (not the fault of the hotel though). Will remain our only visit, I guess.

The personnel was very helpful and offered a new room to me without me asking for it, when the first room wasn't in good enogh state. The hotel also have a perfect location I would say. Second time at Hotel Goldmarie and I would love to stay her again the next time im visiting Berlin.

This was a good hotel to use as a base. The room I had was clean and looked as though it had been updated recently. The alley to access the keysafe is a bit daunting when used for the first time (out of hours for reception desk) but has good lighting. The tram I needed to use was right outside so it was very handy.The train from the airport stopped at the station which was around 10 minutes walk away. I was on the 4th floor and there was no lift so this floor not for someone with poor mobility.

God lokasjon, hyggelig personalet. Resepsjon og trapperom lukter som et askebeger. Ingen heis. Gode senger, god størrelse på rommet. Dusjen lukter råttent egg de første 5 minuttene når du dusjer. Rommet hadde balkong, men andre rom kan få tilgang til balkong ved å klatre ut vinduet på sitt rom. Ikke trygt å sove med dør åpen. Vi hadde ukjente som kikket inn vinduet og døren vår. Mye støy fra hovedveien utenfor hotellet.

I appreciated the high ceilings in the studio, tall bank of windows that fully opened to the street below, small table and chairs, comfortable bed, clean kitchenette with small fridge and plates and cups for two. The shower had hot water and good pressure. Soap dispense on wall, but no shampoo or conditioner or moisturizer one would normally find at a hotel in the States. Clean towels were not provided even when housekeeping was requested. They were given on request but dirty towels were not taken away. One morning there was load door slamming caused by staff (had to go ask them to stop slamming the door). Expedia assured that, due to strike at the Berlin Airport and delayed flight, the hotel would reimburse the first night. They did not and the manager was not nice about it. Shrugged me off and told me to contact the airline instead. No apology, told me I could have taken the train instead (from the US). No breakfast is provided despite indications online that it would be. Location was convenient to tram on the East side. Heads up, graffiti is all over entrance and you have to go down dark side alley to use key to get into At nights. Inside hall light did not come on consistently so felt unsafe at times. The lobby is lovely—the main reason I chose—and there are nice cafes nearby, but note most only accept cash. Location worked well my visit. The lobby is lovely. Will probably not return here next time due to refusal to reimburse first night as they had agreed.
