Unfortunately, due to refurbishment, pool facilities were not available but we could use Tower 2's (where my son lived) facilities. However, although the restaurant was being refurbished, the food offered for breakfast was cold, even though served in bain- maries. The meal served on Friday evening was well below the standard excepted with starters and mains arriving at the same time. My son is still sorting the cost. On a positive note the front of house staff were friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. We will go again, but really hope that, after refurbishment, things will have improved.

Contrairement au lobby et à la piscine ainsi qu’au bar, la chambre n’est vraiment pas terrible. Le frigo ne fonctionne pas la télé non plus, il n’y a même pas de café, ça vaut 2 étoiles mais le reste c’est vraiment bien car le spa ainsi que la salle de sport sont inclus dans le prix de la chambre Thibo ml aussi dans le jacuzzi plein d’enfants qui se baignent. Normalement il devrait interdire car ils font des plongeons c’est du grand n’importe quoi normalement les jacuzzi sont accessibles qu’aux adultes. Il n’y a aucun intérêt à y autoriser les enfants.

Quarto velho com cheiro desagradável, cheio de problemas: ralo da pia na abria, dificultava o uso ao sair do banho banheiro alagado pois ralo não dava vazão de água. Sofá cama fino, péssimo para dormir Luminária da parede fazia barulho a noite toda Trança de segurança da porta estava quebrada O fluxo de carros é altíssimo, então deixar o carro com os manobristas demora muiyoooooooo… opte por vc mesmo parar e retirar. Pool was under maintenance, but that information was not available during booking procedure. (reason of our booking to this hotel was its pool). Alternative pol was available - for that you needed to walk a few minute via the street. We were travelled as whole family, but there was only one mug and one portion of coffee.

Everything was fine in terms of price/performance, except for the smell of mold in the room. Unfortunately, many of the rooms have the smell of mold or moisture, and friends who have stayed in this hotel have confirmed this. Therefore be careful during long stays !!!

Tuvalet kirliydi. Neredeyse hiç temizlenmemiş gibiydi. Odada kahvelerin olduğu yerde kocaman yanık vardı. Banyoda kırık çatlak seramikler vardı. Her yer eskiydi. Kahvaltı alanındaki personel de yetersizdi. Kahve için karton bardak istedim kimse yardımcı olmadı. İlk gün taksi için amerikan doları bozmak istedim (sadece 50 dolar) ama resepsiyon yardımcı olmadı gidip atm'den para çekmek zorunda kaldım. Oda hesabıma da yansıtmak istemediler. Hotel facilities were very good though restaurants a little pricey. Staff care and service excellent. Bedroom and bathroom fixtures and fittings and furnishings all basic and needed revamp, all clean and usable. For this reason I would recommend 3* rating for the hotel.

I usually stay here when I come to Abu Dhabi because I love Swiss Butter and the guy selling the fragrances is awesome. However, this was my last time patronizing this establishment. Check in is slow. They have no urgency. When you call the front desk, it just rings. It takes you approximately five times trying. I had to call housekeeping to get in touch with a manager. They promosed someone would call me back in 5 minutes and they didn't. While trying to sleep, after my 2.5 hour drive, they were doing construction in the room beside me. Apparently, they didn't communicate with the font desk. I called several times and kept the phone ringing & when no one returned my call to address my concern, i walked to the front desk. By the time I got to the front desk, someone answered. They refused to transfer the call to a manager, promising someone would call back. I told her that I wasn't playing that game again and I was at the front desk. Suddenly, she was "apologetic". However, what made me angry is that NO CUSTOMERS were at the front desk, so they could've answered the phone. It shouldn't take me getting MAD, INCONVENIENED, and confronting the situation at the desk to get my concerns handled. Customer service sure has declined. If you can't handle customer service, find ANOTHER position. Between the carpet bug from one visit that I forgave and LACKLUSTER, NONCHALANT approach, you've lost a customer.

Overall good hotel with nice breakfast and good quality of service. Location suitable if you are planning to drive or use taxi and not so good for walking due to distance to walking and touristic places. We faced with few issues like hotel room wasn't ready by check in time, but receptionist offered to wait and enjoy coffee provided by them, safe box didn't work, so technical team came and fixed it shortly after requesting it and this kind of stuff.

Very pathetic service. Being three occupants requested for extra bath towel, even after calling four times it was not delivered. No coffee sachets and as per the house keeping its not available. Milk creamer too not available. Broken lamp , no enough drinking water in the rooms. No tooth brush or slippers available.

We booked for 4 people and after a very long waiting at the check-in (even with passport in their hands they were mistaken the reservation taking a differnt last name), we reached the room and the sofa as extra bed was without blankets and in teh bathroom there was only one towel. After calling the reception we waited more tahn half hour for getting teh extra towel and blankets. After 12 hour trip we want just to take a shower and had to wait for towel. When I complian about the not readiness of the room, they answer that this is their policy: when people arrived to teh room have to ask what they need which for my point of view is not acceptable since I have booked and prepaid a room for 4 people and so my room should be ready at my arrival!!!!

Staff was fantastic and we appreciated the variety and value of choice at the bar/cafe. Room was looking a bit dated - could definitely use a refresh. The queen bed was quite hard and sofa bed was not comfortable at all.

I recently stayed at Novotel Abu Dhabi and was quite disappointed. The check-in experience was poor; the staff member struggled with English and gave incorrect information about the restaurant hours. The room was not as advertised, with a sofa bed that was much smaller than expected. The room was clean but felt dated, and there were several issues such as a broken bathroom door knob, an almost empty shower gel dispenser, and insufficient towels for our family. Despite requesting additional towels and for the sofa bed to be prepared, housekeeping failed to deliver. It was only after multiple calls and a late-night request that they finally assisted. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and too small for two children. Additionally, the room lacked proper bedding and blankets, which made for an uncomfortable night. The dinner buffet was overpriced for the quality offered, and the staff's attitude was not welcoming. Breakfast was better, but overall, the stay was disappointing. I expected more from Novotel and will not be returning.
