There is a seating area and community refrigerator where you can also buy a coffee from a machine. The property has recycling bins as well. The property is a little sterile and very tech forward. It is close to the train/bus station and roughly a fifteen-minute walk to the Old Town. Expedia sent the wrong codes for check-in but not a major issue as staff provided the correct digits. (There are no letters in the check-in code)

I loved this hotel. Close to town, but just away from the main areas to have some privacy. Super easy walk into the main part of town. 3-4 blocks from the airport light rail. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi was 350mb down, and they had laundry on premises. Not fancy, but awesomely effective. Tons of great street food and groceries within a few blocks. Bike share a block away.

No breakfast at the hotel, one must eat out. We walked to several great breakfast places while we were there. The Thai place across the street is good for dinner. The fish market is a bit long of a walk but the train station is about 5 blocks. Close to the university

Very clean, quite spacious room (we had the regular double). It is not super sound proof but was quiet enough at night and we slept well. Nice communal areas with little kitchen and staff was really friendly! Great location outside of super touristy parts and still walking distance to everything.

You're not right amongst the action but still less than 10 minutes walk to the heart of the city centre and harbour (for food and shopping). The central train station is about 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets are literally across the road or just down the street about 2 minutes away. I didn't get a TV in my room but the room I got was clean and functional. There's a common area that doubles as the lobby on the ground floor with amenities like a TV, choice of dining or lounge seating, vending machines, kitchenette with microwave oven and kettle, disposable cutlery and cups but no free tea or coffee. On the second floor (or 1st level above ground) is the laundry. Payment is by card. There is only one washing machine and one dryer though so be prepared to wait or be flexible.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, no fuss check-in and easy check-out. I asked for a rom with easy access because of mobility aids. I got one that perfectly suited my needs, I suspect that I got upgraded. This hotel has a beautiful terrace I wanted access after checkout and they accommodated with zero issues.

Great location in center of town. Extremely clean. Minimalist type of accommodation. Our room had Q bed, desk and 2 chairs. Bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. Nothing fancy or extra but e everything you need and everything is clean. There is a common area where you can sit and conduct business on one side and a kichen/dining area on the other side. The kitchen is equipped with sink, water kettle, microwave, refrigerator and TV. Eco friendly silverware and plates also available at no cost. It is a good place for people to crash to, after a long day of visiting, sightseeing or exploring. No frills. However, it is located in the students zone of Bergen, and this time on Friday night we were kept up all night with someone enjoying loud thumping music... It went on from 9 to 11pm then again from 3am to 4:30pm.. We did tell the night person about it, unfortunately the noise couldn't be heard outside in the hallway. However, once in our room it was clearly thumping... Finally around 4:30am it stopped and we were able to catch some 💤 before checking out at 12 noon. We actually had to check out early and were suppose to get a refund for our prepaid night, but one month later, I am still waiting....

Very quiet (probably the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in), good area for the train and bus, comfortable and safe. The bed was very comfortable. The one complaint is the shower had hair from a previous client in it, so that was kind of gross.

Rommet var ikke rent, det var kun et lite takvindu. Toalettpapir var skrekkelig hardt. Frokosten som hotellet hadde avtale med (kunne i hvertfall kjøpes for 149,- kr.) var under middels. Var ikke god og jeg ble ikke mett.

Ventilasjonsanlegget er imidlertid sentralstyrt fikk jeg beskjed om, så det var ingen måte å gjøre noe med varmen. Ellers veldig fornøyd. Passer best for de som ikke vektlegger personlig service på en kort helgetur.

Hotellet som helhet er ålreit med tanke på prisen. Det går fort å sjekke både inn og ut, noe som er et pluss. Men - rommet hadde ikke muligheten til lufting gjennom vindu, noe som gjorde at det ble veldig tett og varmt da vi var to der. Vi satt ned temperaturen, men den ble ikke særlig lavere. Ellers god seng og greie fasiliteter.

Good location, functional hotel for the price. Room ok but drainage in bathroom terrible , flooded sink and shower . Done the job for 2 nights where we were busy and not in hotel long . Not a luxury hotel just functional for the cost which was perfect for our needs on this trip .

As others have said, this is a basic room with a bed, bathroom, desk and chair and not much room for anything else. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask the Host for a fan if it gets too warm as there is no A/C and the window didn't open much. Convenient to downtown: across the street from the Grieg Concert Hall and a market, 5 minute walk to the bus station, train station, light rail station, 10-15 minute walk to the fish market. No TV in the room but there is one in the communal area. Free use of a refrigerator and microwave in the communal kitchen area but charges for coffee and tea use. Only drawback was some street noise from people and birds around 11-12 every night.

Want to pay for a full price hotel, but have all of the drawbacks of a hostel? Then stay here. The rooms have no TVs. There is a single small shared refrigerator for the entire hotel. Our room was 28c when we checked in. The AC did not cool it down. They offered a tiny fan at the reception that did not help. The room did eventually cool down to 26c by 5am. It was extremely difficult to sleep with the heat.

The standard twin room was bigger than expected. There is space to open 2 large luggages but we only kept 1 opened. The bathroom is also spacious with wet/dry divider. The walls are very thin, we could hear the crazy neighbours shouting and doors slamming through out the night.

Very convenient location, 10-20 minute walk to the most popular city sites. 20 Minute walk to Bryggen wharf, 10-15 to the flonicular. Super easy check in, which option to drop off baggage. Super easy to check out. I was upgraded both times, hotel was super clean. Loved it so much that when I came back to Bergen I stayed again for one night.

The hotel was generally good, modern and clean, basic and small room yet all I needed during my short stay in Bergen when I was mostly out on day trips and hikes. The self service check in was efficient. The laundry was great - I wish more hotels would have self-service laundry like this! The staff were helpful when I needed something. I felt the common areas didn’t have much vibe and were small and basic. It’s a very self-service hotel and there isn’t always someone in the office so it sometimes takes a bit of time to get help. I chose CityBox because it was the most affordable option for the first few nights of my trip. However when I wanted to extend another 3 nights I found it was quite a bit more expensive than other nearby hotels that included breakfast and a gym for lower cost! I would be more inclined to stay at a CityBox again in the future if they offered even complimentary morning coffee, fruit, snacks and a basic gym with a treadmill is always nice. I found it expensive for the lack of amenities/food compared with other hotels nearby, although overall it was a comfortable stay.

Good stay. We got a room with a sink failure to drain. The staff was able to change us to a better, cleaner room with better view from the window after a couple tries.

Super convenient location to Bergen's most popular spots - I walked everywhere. 5 minute walk from the bus station. Super easy to check in and check out, still felt safe despite super hands off hotel - no staff on site everything via computer. I got upgraded both times I stayed here. Loved it !

Very convenient location, 10-20 minute walk to the most popular city sites. 20 Minute walk to Bryggen wharf, 10-15 to the flonicular. Super easy check in, which option to drop off baggage. Super easy to check out. I was upgraded both times, hotel was super clean. Loved it so much that when I came back to Bergen I stayed again for one night.

Very clean, quite spacious room (we had the regular double). It is not super sound proof but was quiet enough at night and we slept well. Nice communal areas with little kitchen and staff was really friendly! Great location outside of super touristy parts and still walking distance to everything.

Walking distance to train station and fish market. Surround by restaurants, bars, and very close to a supermarket. Quick self check in and out. No kettle no usb sockets. Cheap toilet papers and the design of shower screens were very very strange.

Rommet og lokalitetene var veldig bra. Veldig rent og fresht og ikke slitent i det hele tatt. Det var litt uventet at det ikke var noen TV på rommet, Det som ikke var så positivt var at da vi prøvde å sjekke inn via selvbetjeningsinnsjekkingen fikk vi bare beskjed om at rommet ikke var klart - selv om vi sjekket inn etter kl 15. Det tok også litt tid å få tak i personale som kunne ordne det. Videre hadde vi planlagt å spise frokost i cafeen som ligger vegg i vegg med hotellet og har frokostavtale med hotellet. Det viste seg at denne cafeen var stengt denne morgenen uten videre info. Da vi spurte hotellpersonalet om dette var det helt ukjent for dem og de visste heller ikke hvorfor denne var stengt.

Cool hotel. Would rate the staff higher, but they are all behind the scenes. Everything was electronic! Comfy room, great location. No breakfast included, but there is a restaurant next door, "Okie-Dokie" that partners with them in the morning and you get a nice breakfast for a modest price. We had drinks there the night before as well. Lovely bar.

There is a seating area and community refrigerator where you can also buy a coffee from a machine. The property has recycling bins as well. The property is a little sterile and very tech forward. It is close to the train/bus station and roughly a fifteen-minute walk to the Old Town. Expedia sent the wrong codes for check-in but not a major issue as staff provided the correct digits. (There are no letters in the check-in code)

Very average stay. Wouldn't recommend for a longer stay as they don't do room service unless it's a week long. Room is pretty stuffy. Shower water gets everywhere. No tv. No fridge. There is a SMALL community fridge in the lobby area. Was completely packed with no room to put anything. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the neighboring restaurant is fine as long as the right person is there. Very inconsistent offerings depending on who is actually running it..very odd since it's supposed to be 3 open sandwich options, fruit and yogurt. These rooms are not soundproof! We heard music from we have no idea, constantly heard our neighbors conversations and the people above us. Very loud. Probably wouldn't choose this brand again.

No breakfast at the hotel, one must eat out. We walked to several great breakfast places while we were there. The Thai place across the street is good for dinner. The fish market is a bit long of a walk but the train station is about 5 blocks. Close to the university

The hotel was one of the cheaper we came across in Bergen and its location is fine for walking to where we wanted to be.. about 15 mins to the harbour area. However, the room is very basic, you don’t get any cups for water even. The shower was a little mouldy but it was ok for one night. The hotel is also currently covered in scaffolding and workmen woke us up about 7am so be aware of this. The area in the lobby is nice though for drinks etc as there is a little communal kitchen / dining area to use which is where we got our water for the room.

Breafast starts atv7:30 AM which is an hour later than most hotels. So i couldn't get breakfast the two mornings I was there because I had to leave my room before 7:30..staff was just ok.

Great location. Otherwise the most basic room, the beds felt more like trampolines. Very weird concept of a shower door, the bathroom floor was constantly flooded. Really no staff available, everything is automated, thankfully I didn’t have any issues because I wouldn’t know who to ask. Breakfast was totally insufficient
