Checkin was very smooth. No need to worry about checkin times. Room was clean and according to my needs. Hotel was on central location only 700 meteres from Turku Bus station. I will say for improvement heating was not there i will say it needs to be improved because i was feeling cold in room however bathroom temperature was good. 2nd television was slow to operate it was hanging

Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia en un hotel sin personal. Nadie te recibe, no ves a nadie nunca por los pasillos. La soledad absoluta. El hotel posee buenas instalaciones, cama confortable, sanitario completo pero no puedes abrir las ventanas y no puedes apagar o hacer apagar dos ventiladores de aire en la habitación. Por suerte, la temperatura de los días en que me hospede en el mismo no fueron tan frios porque o si no literalmente me hubiese congelado.

The room feels a little cramped but it was in good shape. I appreciated the instant coffee and the kettle. As this a self-checkin process, please send the code in advance and not at the very last minute, like it happened to us. In our booking confirmation, it said that we would get the code a day before checkin but that did not happen. Other than that, it was all good.

Rent och snyggt i rummet och toaletten, stora handdukar, tv, kylskåp, hårfön, allt man behöver för att stanna en eller två nätter, mycket prisvärt och hotellet centralt placerat. Dock skulle det varit bra med ett större kylskåp, men i övrigt helt bra.

Unusual place, no staff and entry is by keycode at street door, in lobby and then at room door. Large room, small bathroom. Large window that doesn't open and blacked out so can't see anything. A little expensive for the overall situation, but a good location for walking through the city for shopping and food.

En mycket trevlig kväll i Åbo . Hotellet låg centralt och nära till allting. Fönster till innergården så det var väldigt tyst i rummet. Det fanns allt det nödvändiga i rummet men hade varit fint med en tavla eller annat, var nästan lite steril känsla. Toadörren knisslade. Hissen luktar rök eftersom många rökare åker ofta ner för att röka.

Pros: Excellent location, easy walking distance from railway station and long distance bus terminal. Close to Turku Art Museum. Lots of shopping nearby, easy walk to downtown tourist attractions. Room is large and clean, bathroom is clean. Cons: Room is ugly, depressing with no decor, and spartan, sparse furniture that looks as if gathered from a charity shop closure sale at a good discount. Window taped over instead of blinders or curtain, cannot be opened (for the better since it is looking at an airshaft). Makes you feel you crushed in a shelter, apart from paying 100 euros. No reception (you get a texted code that opens main door and room), so you cannot leave your baggage if you arrive before 4 PM nor on the day you leave. No breakfast, although there is a minifridge so you can buy supplies in nearby food stores.

We are pretty sure that our bed was missing a mattress. Bed was really hard, like sleeping on the floor and pillows so small and bad. I don’t mind travel with my own pillow, but bed should be better.

I provided my passport information well advance as requested by the hotel but no entry code was provided at the time of the check in. The only way to contact the hotel was via phone number that costs about 80 cents per minute and my phone with a prepaid SIM card wouldn’t allow me to make such phone calls. Finally with the help of Hotels.com chat I was able to receive a code 40 minutes late. We get to the room and two of the beds are not made, and initially didn’t even appear to exist because they are compact and need to be assembled which I had no idea how to do because I’ve never seen such before. I contacted Hotels.com chat again but they couldn’t help. Finally I stopped a guest in the hallway who kindly came to our room and set the beds for us. He said he also didn’t know beforehand. Due to all that difficulty I was late to my meeting.

Checkin was very smooth. No need to worry about checkin times. Room was clean and according to my needs. Hotel was on central location only 700 meteres from Turku Bus station. I will say for improvement heating was not there i will say it needs to be improved because i was feeling cold in room however bathroom temperature was good. 2nd television was slow to operate it was hanging

Pros: Excellent location, easy walking distance from railway station and long distance bus terminal. Close to Turku Art Museum. Lots of shopping nearby, easy walk to downtown tourist attractions. Room is large and clean, bathroom is clean. Cons: Room is ugly, depressing with no decor, and spartan, sparse furniture that looks as if gathered from a charity shop closure sale at a good discount. Window taped over instead of blinders or curtain, cannot be opened (for the better since it is looking at an airshaft). Makes you feel you crushed in a shelter, apart from paying 100 euros. No reception (you get a texted code that opens main door and room), so you cannot leave your baggage if you arrive before 4 PM nor on the day you leave. No breakfast, although there is a minifridge so you can buy supplies in nearby food stores.

This having 7,6 stars is a bit baffling to me. At that rating I expected a lot more. The interiors were very outdated and the whole place felt a bit uncanny somehow. Perhaps some cozy lighting would have helped, but the fluorescent lights didn’t exactly inspire romance let’s put it like that.
