Un peu à l’écart de la ville, sur un site tranquille. Tout de même accessible à pied (restaurants à <10 min à pied). Les chambres étaient propres et confortables. Le personnel courtois. Beautiful property and view. Staff was so helpful and front staff even helped me print something I needed. There was a broken light in our room that they tried to fix but couldn’t. Staff was very prompt and explained they would fix it the next day after trying for about 20 minutes. Our adult kids loved the outdoor hot tub.

I was disappointed with this hotel. The breakfast was a bare minimum, hardly a buffet. I dined in the restaurant Botanico for dinner and i found it expensive and not that good. The hotel is also a bit hidden from the center of town. In their defense, it appears the hotel is not finished. The elevator wasn’t working and there was plenty of construction going on. I am not usually a complainer, but I won’t stay here on my next trip to Valdivia.

El hotel es genial, sus instalaciones y su entorno es único. Quizás deben tener una mayor variedad en la carta del restaurante y tener una precios más competitivos con otros locales de la ciudad. En cuanto al muelle se recomienda poner letreros de advertencia en la zona donde hay humedales para los niños que no conocen esa zona.

Expedia lies again! This is a nice clean property with nice sized rooms, wide hallways and wooded area surrounding property and plenty of free parking. No business center, bellman,or concierge. This is a solid 3 star hotel and it is fine. Why Expedia overrates this hotel is very misleading. Nicest part is the checkin desk has young university staff attending hotel mgmt school and actual try to help guests. Very refreshing!

Showed up a little early and the clerk had already our room available for us. Very clean and quiet, I really love this place, the view is spectacular. Best breakfast ever with fresh bread, and pastries. Staff very friendly. Definitely I'll come back.

I haven't had the breakfast yet. I've only just checked in. The hotel receptionist was very welcoming and professional. Stunning location bedroom faces the river from above and it was a gorgeous sunset. Now expecting a fantastic dining experience at Botanica!

Nice hotel with river view. They control the temperature of the room and mattress is just standard. You depend on other visitors behave since the acoustic isolation is not great but there's no street noise. The restaurant was not open but there are good options around 10 minutes walking. Overall, I would recommend it.

Siempre es un agrado alojarse en Puerta del Sur. Desde las chicas de recepcion y el apoyo de Joaquin..todos son un 10. Las instalaciones son bellisimas. Lo unico que no me gustó, fue los ventanales para salir a la terraza de la habitación estan dañados pero se ve que hace tiempo estan en esa condición.

Clean hotel and well located But during our stay, an electricity shutfown occurs from 20:00 hrs until 12:00 am next day. So I expected some courtesy from the hotel (discount or bonus for the next stay),but nothing of that happens.

Cuando llegamos al check a las 15:00 como pide el hotel no tenían la habitación lista y nos pedían esperar dos horas … de insistir después de 40 minutos esperando en recepción sin ninguna explicación por parte del servicio nos dieron otra habitación no la que se pagó con antelación . En otra instancia solicitamos al personal un té y nos dijeron que no tienen servicio de restaurante cuando ofrecen desayunos.
