A home-away-from-home in Johannesburg. A beautiful property that will surely impress any traveller. Good bar/restaurant, nice outdoor pool, little boutique shop and awesome spa.

A lovely hotel, and welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and nicely-designed with our own indoor and outdoor shower, and a soothing spa-like feel. Dinners and breakfasts at the restaurant were excellent and a personal tour around town was everything we’d hoped for. It’s a wonderful oasis in the city.

I really enjoyed staying in the hotel for two days The staff were very friendly and went that extra mile The rungu massage at the Spa knocked my socks off It was like being in another world amazing experience

This hotel sets the standard for all others. Our spa experience here was nothing less than perfection.

From the moment we arrived the staff we amazing. We have continued to get nice little surprises the whole time. Spa and onsite dining is also amazing. A perfect stay.

This is a great boutique hotel. Rooms are roomy and extremely comfortable, spa and sauna in room, grounds are spectacular, excellent Resturant with indoor or outdoor seating, and a wonderful well trained staff. Micheal on piano really is exceptional and sets a wonderful mood for dinning and lounge area.

Nice property however the swimming pool in our villa was not available, nor was the larger pool outside our villa. So two out of three pools were out of order. Not great. But otherwise the villa was clean, functional etc and the staff weee great

It was an amazing experience at the residence. We would recommend it as a five star hotel, and would go back again. We hope to go back again. The staff were so friendly. The food was excellent, and our accommodations were just beautiful. The tropical nature of the resort was amazing as well.

Absolutely fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated, top level service, great food and drinks, plenty of amenities. Nothing to complain about. Probably the nicest boutique hotel we have stayed in.

The property is in a nice area and seems to have been nice years back.My experience (sept 14-17 2022) a bit of a nightmare.I booked one of the best rooms with a private jacuzzi.Room was stuffy and dusty.Furniture and decor is out dated and the So called private Jacuzzi didnt even work at all.The front desk staff has no Clue whats going on in the hotel and taking your grievances to them is a complete waste of time.This is just an average hotel which seems to have been great way back ,but now is just an average dumo not worthy to be called a luxury hotel.Was promised a refund for a night,but once i got back to my overseas destination,no one seemed to care and contacting them in anyway is a complete waste of time ,as no one ever calls,emails or contacts you back.Disgraceful how it can even call itself a 5 star hotel.Buyer Beware!!Dont believe all you see on their website..I gues those are the pictures from its early years.The place is stuffy and Musty .Most appliances in the rooms are rusty and as for the So called Jacuzzis..They dont work AND havent worked in a Long time(As i was told by the 5th WAITER who was sent to my room to "act"like he was fixing it.What a farce of a place..Nothing but a Bad experience here both from the hotel and the staff and management.

What a fantastic find this hotel was, just 30 minutes from Johannesburg airport. This hotel is well worth the 5 start rating and the service was excellent from our pick up from the airport to our return. Exceptionally good value. We would definitely recommend to other travellers.

What a fantastic find this hotel was, just 30 minutes from Johannesburg airport. This hotel is well worth the 5 start rating and the service was excellent from our pick up from the airport to our return. Exceptionally good value. We would definitely recommend to other travellers.
