Overall, it was an okay stay for a few days. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and I appreciated that the minibar/fridge stayed on even when I left the room. The location is a strong point. Although it’s in St. Julian’s, it’s outside the busy nightlife area while still being within walking distance of many good restaurants. There were some maintenance issues. The bathtub has only a partial glass screen, so a lot of water leaked onto the bathroom floor after every shower. The flooring around the toilet already showed signs of moisture damage. The shower holder was also broken and wouldn’t stay in place, so I had to adjust it every day. The swimming pool looked poorly maintained. The water was dark and cloudy, and the pool edges appeared dirty, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The jams, cheeses, ham, sausages and bread all tasted artificial or low quality. Even though breakfast was included, I chose to eat elsewhere on two mornings. Overall, it’s a reasonable hotel for a short stay thanks to its location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff, but the maintenance issues and poor breakfast should definitely be improved.

Very comfortable bed and room was large. Great selection of breakfast to suit all needs and tastes. The pool could have been a bit cleaner. Pool bar was good with simple food choices available. I’m not sure why the lobby bar was not open during our stay. Overall, a great stay with my daughter.
