Läget är fantastiskt för att koppla av och njuta av en god middag al fresco om vädret tillåter - och mat & vin var utmärkt som kombo. Bra promenad möjligheter inom parken. Mycket bra frukost - saknade endast AC i rummet dock var inte detta något större problem

What a gorgeous place on the Haute -Meuse a chateau style hotel set in lovely gardens and orchards. Peaceful drinks terrace by the river and a very good restaurant - I immediately cancelled my return ferry and stayed an extra night

Hotel was away from town which was nice and quiet and relaxing. The down side to this was a larger party dominated the the only outside sitting area for food and drinks. They also filled up the only on site restaurant which led us to have to drive to town for our meals. Which ironically they can seat everyone for breakfast but not dinner. The other odd happening was we asked to stay another night and we were told the hotel was full. We ventured on and when we reached our new/next location i happened to look up Les Sorbiers and they had multiple rooms available just hours after our departure. Odd. Over-all we enjoyed our stay and maybe if we planned ahead we could have enjoyed a dinner at the hotel

Vraiment un endroit exceptionnel en bord de Meuse, loin de la foule, dans une immense propriété avec une île sauvage comme vue. Bon il n’y a pas de télé dans les chambres et les chambres ne sont nettoyées que tous les jours mais quelle beauté !

Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es liegt abseits an der Maas und es ist wunderbar ruhig. Man entschleunigt sofort. Das Anwesen ist sehr groß mit mehreren Gebäuden und sogar 2 Zelten! Man kann sich alles ansehen, es ist wie im Park. Liegen direkt am Wasser, Sportangebote und der hauseigene Gewürzgarten. Morhens hatten wir sogar Gäste gesehen, die im Fluss baden waren. Die Lounge abends war gut, gemütlich. Der Barkeeper sprach sehr gutes Englisch und ging auf Wünsche ein bzw erklärte auch gern die Biersorten. Es gibt wirklich nichts negatives. Im Gegenteil, wir werden gerne noch einmal länger kommen. Über das Essen können wir nichts sagen, da wir nicht gerne Menüesser sind. Preise scheinen angemessen.

This is such a great hotel, the pictures don’t do it justice. The setting is beautiful, kayaking in the lake is great, the rooms are spacious and the food in the restaurant is very good. I would definitely go back!

It's a beautiful property, right next to Meuse river. The rooms are lovely too. There's no A/C or tea making facilities or a fridge in the rooms, but that's the norm in the Ardennes. There were a couple minor inconveniences, a loose door handle and an unexpected breakdown in the water supply, the latter caused me to cut short my stay (although they would have had it fixed in a couple hours). They were very nice and helpful about issuing a refund for the remaining days. I did very much enjoy my stay there - I'd say it's one of the lovelier places around Dinant (about 10 mins drive to Dinant)

However, the property was not well maintained, grounds were weedy and not cared for and structures needed painting. outdoor setting etc was worn and tired. Poor service. No amenities. No mini fridge. Not even water or coffee in the rooms. We asked for some additional hangers and were told that the two that were in our room were all that were allowed. No one working in the bar when we went in for a drink in the late afternoon. Service is not a priority at this hotel.

This overnight stay, one of many during our long road trip was the highlight of all our stays. As someone has already said it is a place you will never forget. The service is excellent as is the food. Rooms are clean, fresh and quiet and the surrounding countryside is not to be missed. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Leuk hotel op een hele mooie plek. Heerlijk gegeten. Wij sliepen in het bijgebouw en de kamer was heel gehorig. Qua netheid en verzorging prima, maar kan net even beter als er een grote schoonmaak wordt gehouden. Het bed was slecht. Jammer want het was erg mooi, qua lokatie, vriendelijkheid. Hotel ligt op een luisterrijke locatie aan de Boven-Maas. Goede schone kamer, prima bedden, geheel ingericht als klein appartement. Uitstekend gesorteerd ontbijt, biologisch georiënteerd. Prachtige ruime tuin. Een absolute aanrader!

Een heel mooie plek aan de Maas voor een weekendje weg. Geslaagde combinatie van een oud kasteel met moderne inrichting. Zowel de kamers als het restaurant en de bar zijn modern qua meubilair en aankleding met warme, felle kleuren. Dat vinden we zeer geslaagd. Het avondeten was heel fijn en lekker. Onze enige opmerking is dat het niet overal helemaal proper was: stof op de plinten, nachttafel, strepen op de witte muur… Dat is iets waar meer aandacht zou moeten aan gegeven worden. Dan wordt het een toplocatie.

Cet établissement est très bien tenu, a beaucoup de cachet, un agréable parc et sa situation est top ! (au "milieu" d'une forêt). Si vous appréciez le calme et la nature, foncez ! Le personnel y est très agréable. Les seuls bémols sont : - le réseau wifi est très mauvais (notamment dans notre chambre) - le barbecue du soir était généreux mais moyen gustativement.

Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt (glutenvrij!), mooie kamer Enige minpunt: de douche. Deze had geen krachtige straal en de tegels in de douchecabine konden wel een schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken.

Absolutely fantastic value for money. This is a £300 plus room per night. Lovely staff, beautiful location, property with great food and drinks. The rooms were like new and the standard of decor is top draw. This was a complete and very pleasant surprise at the end of a mini euro tour.

The room had 3 issues: 1. The water kept turning off which wasn't great whilst mid shower. 2. The water was sometimes brown when it did turn back on 3. The bed was extremely loud and squeaky. Every time I moved, my 8 month old would get disturbed. The breakfast was nice and it was a clean place with beautiful views. But im not sure i would stay here again. The staff could have given us something to make up for the water issue instead of pretending like it wasn't happening (until i mentioned it at checkout).

Het is een heerlijk hotel buiten de stad en drukte. We zijn laat aangekomen en vroeg weer vertrokken dus hebben we niet veel van de omgeving en faciliteiten van het hotel kunnen mee maken. Beautiful property and well maintained. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only complaints are that the dining options were very slim in the area after like 7pm, and there was a list of requests posted in multiple areas of the room that "for the environment you should turn off the water when brushing your teeth and turn off the water while washing your body in the shower" which was peculiar. I am environmentally conscious and still found that unpleasant to be asked of from a place I paid to stay in.

The room had 3 issues: 1. The water kept turning off which wasn't great whilst mid shower. 2. The water was sometimes brown when it did turn back on 3. The bed was extremely loud and squeaky. Every time I moved, my 8 month old would get disturbed. The breakfast was nice and it was a clean place with beautiful views. But im not sure i would stay here again. The staff could have given us something to make up for the water issue instead of pretending like it wasn't happening (until i mentioned it at checkout).

It's a beautiful property, right next to Meuse river. The rooms are lovely too. There's no A/C or tea making facilities or a fridge in the rooms, but that's the norm in the Ardennes. There were a couple minor inconveniences, a loose door handle and an unexpected breakdown in the water supply, the latter caused me to cut short my stay (although they would have had it fixed in a couple hours). They were very nice and helpful about issuing a refund for the remaining days. I did very much enjoy my stay there - I'd say it's one of the lovelier places around Dinant (about 10 mins drive to Dinant)

However, the property was not well maintained, grounds were weedy and not cared for and structures needed painting. outdoor setting etc was worn and tired. Poor service. No amenities. No mini fridge. Not even water or coffee in the rooms. We asked for some additional hangers and were told that the two that were in our room were all that were allowed. No one working in the bar when we went in for a drink in the late afternoon. Service is not a priority at this hotel.

Lage ist einzigartig schön und wirklich idyllisch gelegen. Für 1 - 2 Nächte zum entspannen wirklich toll. Aber für nen längeren Aufenthalt vllt doch etwas zu ruhig , weil wirklich abgelegen und viele Gäste kommen einfach nur zum lesen oder meditieren hier her. Aus der umliegenden Parkanlage könnte man tatsächlich noch etwas mehr heraus holen . Bzw die Anlage noch nen Funken mehr pflegen

What a gorgeous place on the Haute -Meuse a chateau style hotel set in lovely gardens and orchards. Peaceful drinks terrace by the river and a very good restaurant - I immediately cancelled my return ferry and stayed an extra night

Hotel was away from town which was nice and quiet and relaxing. The down side to this was a larger party dominated the the only outside sitting area for food and drinks. They also filled up the only on site restaurant which led us to have to drive to town for our meals. Which ironically they can seat everyone for breakfast but not dinner. The other odd happening was we asked to stay another night and we were told the hotel was full. We ventured on and when we reached our new/next location i happened to look up Les Sorbiers and they had multiple rooms available just hours after our departure. Odd. Over-all we enjoyed our stay and maybe if we planned ahead we could have enjoyed a dinner at the hotel

Questa struttura composta da vari edifici d'epoca, assomiglianti a piccoli castelli, si trova in un grande parco in riva ad un canale. È un posto tranquillissimo e molto piacevole. L'unico punto non ottimo è il costo del pasto al loro ristorante che, a mio avviso, non ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

My wife and I were on a longer roadtrip in Europe, and while this hotel was supposed to be just a convinient stop on the way, it was a wonderful surprise that we remember very fondly after our trip. The people were extremely helpful and nice (had gluten-free bread for my allergic wife), the food during dinner was absolutely wonderful, and the place was green, quite and beautiful. Started like a random pick on the map due to logistical convinience, but ended up being a place we would like to return to if in the area again.

Enchanting property but rooms were average. Older but cozy. No elevator, no in room refrigerator or bottled water, no TV, no AC, no bug screens which were a serious issue given the heat wave and no AC. That said the price was very reasonable and the property is dreamlike so I'm glad to have been a guest.
