Nice motel-hotel in Shawinigan which had very good prices. Owner-operator family were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were extremely clean. The hotel is 'old' but it has been very renovated inside to modern standards. Would stay here anytime again in the area. In the heart of the good part of Shawinigan/water front area and not far from the national park.

Très belle endroit. Personnel gentil et attentif au demande. Par contre, les mirs sont TRÈS minces et zéro insonorisé. On entend TOUT des chambres voisines donc on essaie de pas parler, pas tirer la chasse d'eau la nuit ou encore moins allumer le ventilateur de la salle de bain qui est à même la lumière car il est très bruyant. J'étais extrèmement fatiguée et j'avais besoin de dormir. J'ai malheureusement eu comme voisin un couple ayant un jeune enfant en pleur et en cris.... j'ai du aller signaler à la réception après au moins 30 minutes de calvère. On entendait le jeune partout dans le corridor et loin alors imaginer moi directement ma tête de lit sur le mur mitoyen !!! i la la... la gentille dame à l'acceuil est venu leur faire signe mais évidemment c'est un jeune enfant donc je comprends bien qu'il ni a pas grand chose à faire. Juste très décevant quand on a besoin de dormir. Et leurs levés fut à 6h00 donc encore pleins de bruits, enfant qui cour partout dans la chambre et crie.. sinon c'est bien. Il y a aussi un micro onde accessible 24h/24 advenant le besoin de réchauffer un repas. Jy retournerais en cas de besoin.

Although the building is likely ~50 years old, the interior has been comprehensively, tastefully, and well renovated with enlarged modern rooms and bathrooms. It appeared to be quite busy while we were there, but it was very quiet in the room. Given the proximity to La Mauricie and the highway to Saguenay, as well as the charm of the Grand-Mere district of Shawinigan, it is a good choice.

Although the building is likely ~50 years old, the interior has been comprehensively, tastefully, and well renovated with enlarged modern rooms and bathrooms. Helpful staff. Posted address for hotel reservation showed Shawinigan but motel was located in Grand mere, a sector of Shawinigan but confusing for Google maps which should help find the place easier. Signage could be improved especially at night to find the motel.

Vieille installation, mais tout de même propre. Difficulté à trouver la réception. Pas de possibilité de faire un late checkout alors que la chambre n’a pas été nettoyé immédiatement à 11h, je ne crois pas que cela aurait dérangé.

Première déception, il n'y a pas de déjeuner inclus. Il y a une piscine mais les deux fois que j'ai voulu y aller je n'ai pas pu. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits mais ils n'ont pas nettoyé la chambre. Toutefois à notre arrivée le préposé à l'accueil a été très gentil et notre chambre avec un lit king était très agréable et très propre.

Endroit propre et tranquille. Petit réfrigérateur incluant congélateur( idéal pour les ice pack),cafetière. Air climatisé fonctionne très bien. Petit bémol lavabo de salle de bain à l'extérieur de la salle de bain(petite salle de bain)pour nous pas un problème. Micro-ondes au bout du couloir et piscine extérieur. Breuvage a vendre à la réception. Restauration près pour les repas. Maxi et Dollarama tout près. Endroit simple mais agréable à 20 min de Saint-Tite. Près de l'autoroute 55. Sortie 223. Qualité prix 5/5. J'y retourne l'année prochaine.

Nous y étions un mardi soir, alors que plusieurs restos sont fermés ou que leurs cuisines ferment à 20h. Peu de choux, à part le Tim Horton. Pour le reste, c’est un motel correct, mais sans plus. Dans la moyenne, mais pas trop cher.

The room was ok and had bathtub in bedroom but tub was quite small. Queen bed was big but hard. The room smelt like smoke and the outdoor pool was a green swamp. The decking around the pool was rotting and several missing/broken boards. Property not maintained at all. Halls were dank and old dirty carpet. I liked that you could enter the room from outside and also through hallway inside. Hotel was about 5 minutes from downtown. There was no fridge or microwave in the room but found a microwave later at the end of the hall.
