The people working were nice but no real breakfast. The place smells and floors were filthy. Tooth floss and a piece of gum stuck to the floor outside my room. First room had the doors taped off with black garbage bags I asked to move. The bathroom had hair and no floor mat. The sink had so much pressure it came ot of the sink and all over my outfit. Only two full towels and after cleaning up that mess only one. The area outside was very dirty and dark. Pool was locked and no silverware available unless you asked. Employees were nice but place needs help.

I was shocked at the difference in the appearance of this property versus the online photos. I was traveling alone and very sorry I stayed here. The room was dirty; esp the bathroom. The hotel appeared unfinished and crowded with planting and building materials. Do not recommend.

We were passing by Tampa and were looking for an economic hotel for a one night stay. It looks like the hotel is going under improvements and it has several features in the works. The bathroom is what needs the most attention, bathtub, sink, floor.

Trash surrounded the building and the pool area linens or dirty with body hair was told housekeeping was closed could not get fresh linens free breakfast consisted of juice and oatmeal cockroach legs on hotel floor. Literally picked out drug paraphernalia out of the pool. Homeless wading in their pool. Place is just disgusting wish I had taken photos

The room was extremely dirty, with no proper structure to ensure guest comfort. Basic items like a minibar were missing, and the space was clearly poorly maintained. Furthermore, the reception service was terrible — the receptionist was rude and in a bad mood, which made the experience even worse. I do not recommend this place and will definitely not return.

Check in was not friendly. The room was not clean, roaches and dirt near and under the bed. The tub, I wouldn’t wash my dog in it. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were only here for a short time, would have braved it somewhere else. Had to ask for towels, and the staff didn’t apologize for making us wait to check in after telling us 5 minutes and we had to wait an additional 40. I could go on but what’s the point.

Nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Loogies, spit, and boogers on the walls. Huge stains on the broken mattresses, floors were not swept or mopped, toilet wasn’t cleaned prior to our stay, shampoo and conditioner bottles on the walls were empty, their “grab-n-go breakfast” was sad, coffee was watery, no creamer choices, the whole inside smelled terrible, and the carpet in the hall was crunchy and full of stains. Should have stayed in my car and saved my $200. Also went in the gas station across the street one time where I was asked for money by three different people. Awful part of town. I did not feel safe and I never felt clean. Will never stay there again.

I thought the staff was very friendly and assisted with my check in. When we entered the room the floor was filthy and sticky there was urine left on the toilet seat from previous users I saw a cockroach in the bathroom in the evening that came out from under the wall. Overall cleanliness of this place is absurd and made me uncomfortable. Unfortunately I will not be returning

This place is gross. Mold throughout bathroom area, curtain etc. Most surfaces sticky, bathroom floor, tv remote, bedroom etc. Paint peeling, fixtures falling off. active water damage (with visible puddles in hallway), liquid stained carpets, hair and debris in room and bathroom, red (blood?) stains around sink area. This place really needs to be reported to health authorities and shut down

This was the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed at. The bathrooms had dirt and dead bugs all around it. The AC vent had black mold in it everywhere. The whole hotel stunk and our room smelled like mold. The entire hotel needs to be exterminated and cleaned. We left a day early from our vacation and had to get a different hotel.

When we first checked in, we entered the room and it had a severe musty smell (almost choked us up). There was hair on the bathroom counter. I walked towards the curtain to get some light and the carpet was soaking wet. The AC was leaking all over the floor. We asked for a new room and were accommodated instantly. The guy at the front desk was very nice and polite, honestly the best part about the stay. In the new room, there was more hair on the bathroom counter and the bed skirts had stains that looked like vomit. The fridge was very sticky/gummy on the shelf and in the drawer. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The cable worked great. The shower soaps and towels smelled nice. Was it worth the price? Yes. Would I book here again? Probably not.

The only good thing I have to say about this location is that the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is not the greatest in town, and we actually had a couple people come up to us to ask for smokes and other items and cussed us out because we said now. If you're looking for a quick place to lay you head for the night, sure, but I wouldn't recommend more than that. The floors are not mopped, they were so sticky, there was an odd smell in the rooms and they were just dirty. When it came to the staff, they were excellent in helping with all of my questions and concerns for staying a few extra days and charges. Ybor City is the hard side of town, I'll just leave it at that.

Place needs updating. The guy that checked us was nice to give us an upgrade! Room was big. The refrigerator didn't work. There was trash outside the slider door and there was no free breakfast as advertised. Not worth what they charged!

Fairly clean, convenient but right next to the interstate. I had to use my earplugs to sleep. The hotel Advertised breakfast included but it was disappointing - just Keurig coffee, yogurt and a snack bar. I’m glad I brought something to eat from home.

This hotel does not look like the pictures. Very rundown and in a very unsafe neighborhood. Even the locals told us the area can be dangerous and to make sure you are in at night. We were very worried sleeping here. I would not recommend this is not a typical days inn or Wyndham hotel.

Dirty, feet were black in seconds of touching floor. Curtains had cigarette burns. Shower constantly leaked. A/c not properly insulated so has a gap to the outside (allowing bugs in). Ironing board disgusting.

First and foremost the pictures they have online for their hotel are false. Nothing was what it was supposed to be other than the room looked like the pictures, there was nasty stains on the couch and chair so we didn’t get to use them stayed on the bed the whole time. The employees were all in bad moods or something. I asked for a clean blanket because there was blood stains on the one on our bed and the guy had a horrible attitude. Guest were crowding the very small lobby. Our electric went out cause you can’t use the microwave and tv and refrigerator at the same time, which we were not told about. When we asked for it to be fixed they said you have to wait till morning the maintenance guy was asleep…and then had to ask again the following afternoon cause no one came. There was cigarette butts all over the property and in front of all the sliding glass doors. Dead bugs and food on the floors. The room we stayed in was 103 and it’s a “suite” but it’s not at all worth the money spent. I do not recommend staying here…

Days inn is absolutely wonderful they rooms are very clean and spacious. The front desk clerks are overly amazing both gentlemen's are very funny and very nice. I wouldn't stay here again. It was a cheap option for a night, so I picked it. The clerk had us standing there for like 20 minutes while he checked us in and asked me and my friends for all of our ID's (and maybe that's standard, but like he got my 15 yr old cousins PERMIT why do you need that.) We get to our room and it smells musty, the ceiling is cracking and stained, the floor wasn't clean (crumbs and stuff), the tub looked gross and in every corner there was dirt and grime build up. I knew what I was getting into with a budget hotel, but this was kinda bad for like a place that has won awards. Like what did you even win an award for...

When I arrived after a 6 hour drive there, the desk clerk with arguing with another customer about dirty towels, instead of just getting the other customer clean towels and going on about her day. When my mother and I got into the room we had to plug lights in just to be able to see and when we did there was a live roach that I had to kill before I brought my kids in there. The free Continental breakfast they barely had anything available and when they refilled it was only enough for a few people. There were 5 of us in our group alone so imagine a whole hotel full of people wanting breakfast.

Terrible! I fell for the pictures on the website. The location is a shady area. You tell the hotel by its patrons. Rooms are dirty, the linen was stained, and probably not washed. We saw human hair on the floor. We saw dead cockroaches. Half the bulbs and outlets do not work. The clerk was very nonchalant. He moved us to a different room, which turned out to be worse than the 1st one. We moved back to the first one. We booked for 3 days but checked out in a day and moved to Holiday Inn, which was $40 more, but was like heaven in comparison. Don't fall for the pictures; you get what you pay for.

The place needs an upgrade, since you walk in smells like cigarettes. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel and you can smell the cigarettes inside your room even with the doors closed.

We recently stayed at the Days Inn Wyndham and the staff could not have been more awesome! They were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The pool was incredible, but the grounds outside were lettered with garbage, cigarette butts, etc. The hotel itself was very clean, and the breakfast was very limited, but we really appreciated having it and they did a great job keeping it stocked up

It claims to have breakfast. It doesn't. Instant oatmeal and granola bar is not breakfast. Coffee they had but creamer only one day. We've been to several Days Inn you advertised and seen the same thing. That's false advertising. We choose by what's offered. Not good!
