La struttura è storica e questo comporta pro e contro: location bellissima ristrutturata nei punti giusti, ma parquet scricchiolante, muri molto sottili e tende non proprio oscuranti, non aiutano chi ha il sonno leggero. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, è semplice ma buona. C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nei posti dedicati con un sovrapprezzo di 12 franchi per notte. C'è anche il ristorante, ma noi non ne abbiamo usufruito. A pochi passi si trova anche autobus che in 5 minuti vi porta a Montreux. Vale sicuramente l'esperienza.

The included breakfast was delicious, and the small bar/lounge area was a great place to enjoy a drink after a day exploring. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. This is a lovely old fashioned hotel, with beautiful views , the bar, lounge gardens and restaurant are delightful. It is a steep walk up the hill to get to it if using public transport however. The staff are universally helpful, kind and charming.

Struttura molto vicina al bellissimo castello di Chillon. Colazione al buffet ricca e abbondante. Personale cortese e premuroso, ma si lamenta la mancanza di ascensore nonché la scarsa insonorizzazione delle camere (a noi purtroppo è capitato un vicino che russava!). Parcheggio limitato a pochi posti. Possibilità sulla strada con disco orario.
Struttura molto vicina al bellissimo castello di Chillon. Colazione al buffet ricca e abbondante. Personale cortese e premuroso, ma si lamenta la mancanza di ascensore nonché la scarsa insonorizzazione delle camere (a noi purtroppo è capitato un vicino che russava!). 最寄りの電車やトラムを降りてから急坂を登る必要があり、大きなトランクではかなりきつかったです。ホテルの中にもエレベーターはなく、階段で上がる必要があるため、かなり疲れます。 ただ、外観や内装がとても可愛くて素敵です。朝食が無料でいただけるのも有り難かったです。 シヨン城が徒歩で行けるほど近くにあるので、行かれる方は便利だと思います。 サウナが入り口の近くにあり、利用していいのか聞かずに滞在を終えてしまいました。行かれる方がいましたら是非トライしてみてください。

In a great locating. Parking very tight and only a few spaces. Breakfast was lovely and the service was great. Check in was also great and the host was very helpful. The beds weren't very comfortable and very creeky however, so it was hard to sleep.

Very nice historical hotel. The restaurant was great. They have an evening set menu each day, but can accommodate changes for dietary needs, which they did for us. Very professional service and great advice for things to do in the area.

Intressant med den gamla miljön men mat och frukost var inte något speciellt. Fick sur mjölk i kaffet. Spindelväv i tak och golvhörnor. Det var inte tydligt att balkongen vi skulle ha var vår varför andra satte sig där och satt och tittade rätt in i vårt rum.

The heat didn’t work in our room but a space heater was provided. Staff were great & very helpful. Breakfast was great and we had ours on the balcony. The hotel is very historic and beautiful. If you’re using public transportation it is very close to hotel. There is a hill to climb, but we were stopping frequently to take beautiful pictures of the views, so it was doable. Would definitely return!

A charming old fashioned hotel. It has a lovely view of the lake from the bar/ dining room and the garden. Welcoming and friendly staff. It’s accessible from the bus stop up a hill. Quite pricey for the standard of room you get. Although the room did have comfortable beds and an adequate en suite. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. There is a bit of noise at night from hotel guests, I could hear the neighbours gargling their mouth wash! The tv was very dated and the water in the shower was a bit hot and cold. It’s good if you are looking for a charming characterful stay and want to read a book or enjoy the peaceful garden.

We loved staying at Hôtel Masson! My husband and I are fans of historic hotels and this one is a jewel of a place. As the oldest hotel in the area, it is simply charming. The rooms are spacious while being cozy. The beds are comfortable, and the bar/salon is classic and elegant. We found the staff warm and friendly, especially Karine who took such excellent care of us. Dinner was delicious. Only positive things to say about Hôtel Masson!

Beautiful restored period hotel. Excellent breakfast provided. Given Montreux card which provided free bus transportation which was nearby and discounts on tourist attractions. Helpful staff. Walk to Chillon Castle was 5-10 minutes.

In a great locating. Parking very tight and only a few spaces. Breakfast was lovely and the service was great. Check in was also great and the host was very helpful. The beds weren't very comfortable and very creeky however, so it was hard to sleep.

Very nice historical hotel. The restaurant was great. They have an evening set menu each day, but can accommodate changes for dietary needs, which they did for us. Very professional service and great advice for things to do in the area.

We loved staying at Hôtel Masson! My husband and I are fans of historic hotels and this one is a jewel of a place. As the oldest hotel in the area, it is simply charming. The rooms are spacious while being cozy. The beds are comfortable, and the bar/salon is classic and elegant. We found the staff warm and friendly, especially Karine who took such excellent care of us. Dinner was delicious. Only positive things to say about Hôtel Masson!

La struttura è storica e questo comporta pro e contro: location bellissima ristrutturata nei punti giusti, ma parquet scricchiolante, muri molto sottili e tende non proprio oscuranti, non aiutano chi ha il sonno leggero. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, è semplice ma buona. C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nei posti dedicati con un sovrapprezzo di 12 franchi per notte. C'è anche il ristorante, ma noi non ne abbiamo usufruito. A pochi passi si trova anche autobus che in 5 minuti vi porta a Montreux. Vale sicuramente l'esperienza.

Perfect location for visiting Chillon Castle. And the hotel itself is full of history, retaining its bel epoque charm. Loved it! Their special 4 course dinner is completely worth it. One warning though... use the bus or taxi to get there. Otherwise you are hoofing it up a super steep hill to reach the hotel.

I think it was just the time of year with the Jazz festival and time of week on the weekend but this was quite an expensive hotel stay. I think it would have been nice to at least include a fan in the room for that price. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was good.

A lovely place ! Delightful and charming furnishings in the room, and throughout the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. If it had not been rainy, we would have enjoyed the fabulous view of the lake and mountains from little balcony.

Intressant med den gamla miljön men mat och frukost var inte något speciellt. Fick sur mjölk i kaffet. Spindelväv i tak och golvhörnor. Det var inte tydligt att balkongen vi skulle ha var vår varför andra satte sig där och satt och tittade rätt in i vårt rum.
