Even though I stayed at this property 2 wks. ago, and gave it a bad review (primarily for cleanliness), it's proximity to my reason for being in Seguin, and cost, prompted me to see if changes had been made. I am happy to say my room (exactly the same as my previous one) was spic and span, the same comfortable bed, easy and close parking. A great value for the cost. I will stay at his motel the next time I'm in Seguin.

The room was clean, comfortable, and recently renovated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the parking was super convenient. You can really tell it’s under great new management. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Seguin

Check in was great. Room seemed fine. Problem was the bathroom. Shower had been sprayed with some substance that was peeling on in sheets. Water in shower was one step above lukewarm. Saw 3 bugs that I killed. Also, no coffee provided.

Check in went fine though basics like WiFi info were not provided. The room itself, however, was very disappointing. I cannot accurately describe the horrible smell in the room - it smelled like filthy, old mop water and mildew mixed with some chemicals. The door was covered in black grime on the backside. There were visible drink rings on both bedside tables. The fridge sort of worked but needed to be defrosted so badly that it froze half our food. Ice maker wasn’t working either. Just in general one of the worst Motel 6 locations I’ve ever visited. We brought our own bedding and had to both clean and deodorize the room.

It's close to a convenient store (next door) and a Jack In The Box for quick grab and go meals. It seemed like a safe place to stay as we briefly walked back and forth to the store several times. The staff was nice and informative. We checked out at around 7 AM, as were the oil field workers that were nearby occupants. The room was clean and the AC worked very well. They did include a $50 deposit in addition to the price. which we will await for return.

Nothing fancy about this place. The best thing about it is the easy access to I-10. Ceiling floors are not sound proof, TV, fridge, and sink is the just of it. Don't expect any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash...there are towels though.

The bathroom was gross! The shower curtain was torn, dirty and heavily stained. There was hair in the shower and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bathroom floor was wet when we got there. Overall, the room needed a serious cleaning! I would not recommend this place for families.

The entire room was dirty! The bathtub literally had visible dirt and stains in it, and the floors obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. The floor was dark colored so the dirt wasn't visible, but when I removed my shoes it was obvious to the bottom of my feet. If it hadn't been so late (and my fatigue), I would have gone elsewhere. Thank God the bed was comfortable and clean.

Check-in was good, able to put us in a ground floor room as we were traveling with a pet. Room temperature was to our liking. BUT, the room was filthy. The paint was peeling off the bathtub, trim was peeling off tub and walls, stains on walls and door frames were not washed off. Dead bugs/spider webs were under headboard and on floor, live roach in tub, luke warm water in shower. DO NOT STAY HERE!

There was a big black mold area on the bathroom ceiling. The microwave hadn’t been wiped clean in who knows how long and the sheets had holes in them. I wasn’t expecting much but a clean place to take shower and Sleep. Not here! I would sleep in my truck and rinse off in a sink than pay to stay here again.

Was not clean. Bath tub was not wiped down, floors not mopped, one of the towels was dirty, looked like pee in the wall, every light switch was dirty. At least the toilet was clean. I am usually not too picky but this was just gross. The bed was comfy and sheets looked clean.

Wouldn’t recommend this motel at all. When we got to the room, the smell was overpowering. There was a mess in the bathroom, cigarette holes in the sheets, and as stated previously, the smell was overwhelming. As though it was a smoker room.

Upon check in, was given a room that had not been cleaned. The room assigned was.average, however the shower curtain rod was almost completely detached from the walls and the tub appeared to have been painted in places and was peeling. Had to get the door key reactivated every day. I have stayed in many Motel 6 motels and this would probably be rated at the lower end of the spectrum.

Shower/Tub was old and stain. We had small little bugs crawling on the floor but the a/c was awesome. It was cold but the whole building is very old . Walls are so thin you can hear people talking outside the walls

I checked in and went to the room to turn ac while we went to eat .. came back a little after an hour and the room was still hot so i called front desk and was told ac takes longer to cool ... mind you that was at 10pm .. by 1 it was still hot so they changed us room.. and the room never got cold 😥... my daughter's had a game the next more and were very uncomfortable all nighy

It looked amazing on the website. We got there and the room had what looked like hopefully someone’s beard hair and not private area hair. It wasn’t even the room I booked and the tv remote didn’t work so could change the channel or turn volume up. The shower was janky. The bed was hard and pillows were stiff. Worst of all the power went out in our room in middle of night, no one else’s did, and when we checked out and the person said “so, what you want me to do about it, the power went out oh well,” Very rude, trashy, uncomfortable and will never be back to this place again.

We were very disappointed in the appearance of the property. Appears to have an abandoned van in the truck parking area. Dead shrubs and dirty parking area. The rooms appeared to be clean and attractive. We had to switch to a different room as the 1st room's deadbolt would not close. The new room was hot because the air-conditioner was not turned on. I believe as a money saving tactic. My biggest complaint is that the 2 Staff persons I made contact with appeared to be unfriendly. I smile goes a very long way in pleasing the customers.

Life sometimes goes and gets all sorts of crazy and it doesn't seem to care if it's the holiday or not! We stayed the first week with every intention of moving around as we just relocated, but price wise and then the awesome property manager? We decided we liked it here, and we are relocating, super stressful! Staff definitely takes the sting out of it!

I had such a lovely stay at this Motel 6! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel welcome and at home. The Manager was very rude and not profesonal. They never said anything about a deposit when i booked the room for my guest and then told them they had to pay it before going the room was given to them. wouldn't take the cc over the phone so i could pay for it. I extend the room for another night and instead of letting them stay in the room my guest had to pack everything and leave then come back at 3pm. I will not recommend your Motel in Seguin to anyone.
The Manager was very rude and not profesonal. They never said anything about a deposit when i booked the room for my guest and then told them they had to pay it before going the room was given to them. wouldn't take the cc over the phone so i could pay for it. Arrived to check in and there was a dirty note stayting the front desk person would be back at 810 pm. We waited 45 mins and no one showed up. A strange man then comes into the lobby and tells us that the receptionist went to ahower and would not be back for another 30 mins at least. I have tried to contact customer service and was hung up on twice. Unexceptionable, i did nit stay and need a refund!

It's close to a convenient store (next door) and a Jack In The Box for quick grab and go meals. It seemed like a safe place to stay as we briefly walked back and forth to the store several times. The staff was nice and informative. We checked out at around 7 AM, as were the oil field workers that were nearby occupants. The room was clean and the AC worked very well. They did include a $50 deposit in addition to the price. which we will await for return.

Nothing fancy about this place. The best thing about it is the easy access to I-10. Ceiling floors are not sound proof, TV, fridge, and sink is the just of it. Don't expect any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash...there are towels though.

Staff was RUDE, no coffee pots in the room and coffee was made in the office on occasion but not daily. I was in a non-smoking room and the bedding had cigarette burns all over it. I needed extra towels and was charged an additional fee. Stay away from this location if you can.
