I love the amenities and the staff. Met the owners and first thing they asked is do I need anything. I have stayed in many B&B’s and this is as good if not better than many, including those overseas. Cannot wait for full breakfast in the morning. Sherry and sweets were great.

Had a 2 day stay in New Been- Love Hanna-House! I have to admit to also partaking of the Sherry and cake in the sitting room- The breakfast is great! And the rooms are so well kept! What a pleasure!

Loved the B&B! Camille was a wonderful host! Our plane was late due to weather, they were so good about waiting on us to make sure we were squared away. We wore our robes and came down to the main room and had complimentary sherry and cake with other house mates we just met. It was great! Breakfast was excellent 10/10, coffee was perfect. The room was cozy and perfect for our one night stay.

Camille was a lovely hostess. It’s a beautiful property, very walkable for shopping and restaurants. Parking was available and such a fabulous breakfast. Would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Everything (except one thing) was fine. The location? Very convenient to shops, restaurants and highways. Parking? Literally, just outside the front door. The decor? Antiques galore which were appropriate for the vintage of the house and very well curated. Breakfast? Outstanding food and service. Check-in & check-out? Efficient and easy peasy. The one thing that didn’t measure up? Sadly, it was the bed… specifically, the mattress. It sagged so much toward the middle that my wife and I filled in the gaps with extra pillows to get it as close as possible to lay flat, which was very uncomfortable and led to a very restless night. Sorry to have to mention that, but hopefully our honesty will help prevent future guests having poor sleeping experiences.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hanna House. The room, bath and all linens were very clean. The towels were changed each day which was very appreciated. The bed was made each day and the room tidied. The breakfast menu was varied and the fresh squeezed orange juice was a delicious treat each morning. Camille and Joe were very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to seeing them on my next visit to New Bern.

Interior was immaculate and the decor stayed true to its era. Breakfast was so delicious and above our expectations. Our choices on the menu were extensive and not your basic breakfast entrees. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

The only negative thing was we couldn't get hot water in our room. The next morning we complained and we were told that we must turn on the shower and sink hot water all at once due to an individual hot water system for that room. It would have been nice if they had given us that info when we checked in or a sign in the room. We were all dressed and ready to leave when we got the info. Otherwise our stay was delightful and breakfast was delicious.

I had the Puritan room and it truly reminded me of what it would have been like back in the days of Puritans . . . a multitude of varied shaped and size rugs and not all that comfortable to me including the bed. Window shades only came down over the top half of the window so there was always light coming in from the street. Personnel were courteous and accommodating but this certainly was not my favorite Bed and Breakfast stay.

What a great place to stay and a gourmet breakfast to boot. The owners are friendly and the home is very nicely restored. My only complaint was that the mattress was way to soft for me. I would stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend you do too

We loved our recent stay at the Hanna House. Our room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped but that’s understandable for a house built in 1896. Our guests were super nice and accommodating. There was complimentary sherry and cakes in the front room that also has a tv. The best part of our visit was the gourmet breakfasts that we were served. They were amazing! We will definitely be back for stay in the future. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

I had the MOST dreamy stay. I loved everything about my accommodation - it was historic but tidy! The decorations, the tub, the shower, the king size bed, the balcony, the decor, the decanter with sherry and fresh applecake.. it was literally a dream come true. The hostess and staff were VERY kind people and the breakfast was lovely as well. Everything was quiet and air conditioned and perfect.

The Hanna House is a lovely well maintained Victorian. Our room, the Lincoln room was quiet and welcoming, but Camille is the shining point of the Hanna House. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the doors. Her breakfasts are top notch. The best bnb breakfast I've ever had.

The Hanna House B&B is simply lovely. Our host was congenial, considerate and informative; our room was spacious and well-appointed. The location in New Bern can't be beat - we were steps from shopping and great dining options. Breakfast was over the top - a menu of wonderful breakfast options and the food was amazing! Having sherry in the parlor with guests from Germany was another plus! Truly enjoyed our stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hanna House B & B. The location is great with lots to do within walking distance. The host was very responsive and had every detail taken care of. The highlight of the stay was the amazing breakfast!! We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Camille is charming and an excellent chef. Her personal touch makes you feel right at home. Our second stay at Hanna House. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. Location is a short walk to downtown. No negatives to note.

The house is lovely, with a huge collection of antiques. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were extensive and fit the vibe of the house perfectly. We enjoyed meeting other guests in the sitting room while enjoying delicious homemade cookies and sherry. Joe and Camille were very gracious, fun to talk with and accommodating (we had a schedule hiccup which they fixed in a heartbeat!) And the breakfast menu was extraordinary; if I lived in New Bern, I’d stay there overnight just to enjoy one of the dozen or so gourmet options.

We shortened our original two-night stay to only one night because of the rain; but, Joe & Camille's attention to detail (especially including our wonderful breakfast) impressed us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to visit again sometime. A delightful respite.

We have visited Hanna House multiple times over the past 10 years. We were always very happy there. Located in Historic New Bern yet on a quiet street it is old, built in 1896, but in great condition. The breakfast is a highlight. You can choose from a lengthy menu and even at what time. you would like breakfast. There is always homemade cake, cookies, sherry and coffee available. The host is very friendly and always willing to help.

Hanna House is ideally located for a short walk to the key sights in New Bern........Tyron Palace/museum, historic homes and churches, the riverfront, Public Market, and restaurants. We walked everywhere during our stay and did not need the use of our car. The breakfast menu is very extensive, and the food is absolutely delicious. The French Toast with sliced apples, and creme brulee topping was one to remember. We enjoyed our conversations during our stay with Camille and Joe (the owners), and the other guests. We enjoyed our stay and know you will too.

Located in Historic New Bern yet on a quiet street it is old, built in 1896, but in great condition. The breakfast is a highlight. The host is very friendly and always willing to help.

We had a great stay at Hanna House Bed and Breakfast. The home is beautiful, full of antiques and the owners are lovely. The location can’t be beat! It’s very close to the waterfront, only a block or two to the downtown shops. There was a great choice of breakfast options and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay! Hosts were very friendly. House is really well set up. The location is perfect to walk around New Bern. Breakfast had an incredible amount of choices. I had the shrimp and grits and it was scrumptious! Will definitely stay there again!!!

Interior was immaculate and the decor stayed true to its era. Breakfast was so delicious and above our expectations. Our choices on the menu were extensive and not your basic breakfast entrees. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

The Hanna House is a lovely well maintained Victorian. Our room, the Lincoln room was quiet and welcoming, but Camille is the shining point of the Hanna House. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the doors. Her breakfasts are top notch. The best bnb breakfast I've ever had.
