For a Singapore resort experience that won’t break the bank, this is a great suburban, outdoorsy alternative that’s closer to the airport (for visitors) with a fun water park right beside the hotel, as well as a large park by the sea right at its doorstep. There is a small mall attached to the resort via a covered walkway that offers many little, local eateries as well as a cinema (perfect to escape the rain). If you’re a tourist who isn’t into the big city and shopping that Orchard Rd has to offer and prefers to see a more tranquil, green side to Singapore, and is zipping in and out for a short one or two night stay, I recommend staying here and enjoying this different side of what Singapore has to offer. You’ll get an authentic local experience staying in the suburbs “where the locals go” and get some outdoor fresh air time and exercise. Rent a bike at the on-site rental station and enjoy a bike ride along the beach at Pasir Ris Park. Go play in Wild Wild Wet, the next door water park with thrill rides at a fraction of the price you’ll pay elsewhere to enjoy such amenities.

The whole family really enjoyed D'Resort. The facilities were clean, the staff friendly, but most importantly the adjoining water park was a lot of fun. Dining options were good as the hotel restaurant was decent and local mall was only a few minutes walk. Note the property is not walkable from public transport so be aware you will need to taxi to/from.

We booked for one night since we would go to airport the next day. Only 10 minutes drive to the airport and its price is much more affordable than that in the airport. The hotel locates in a quiet area, it is easily access though. The room is big, very neat and clean. Comfortable air conditioning indoor while we can enjoy fresh air in the hallway. There is no swimming pool in the hotel but a water park is right next to it! They offer special discount of the ticket for hotel guests. We spent two hours there and had so much fun! Even though we cannot swim, there are many "mild" facilities for the youth, while there are some other slides for people who want more excitement. About 5 minutes walk to a shopping mall where provides various chooses of restaurant, convenience stores and grocery stores. We had a nice dinner there. We definitely had a wonderful last day of our trip in D'Resort Downtown East.

Everything good except cleanliness. One. The toilet seat behind the cover had some old pee trace (yellow mark). Our pillow, all of them, were stinky from sweat. Must be from previous visitor. Like, really stinky. Everything else were really good, close to plaza to get food, amenities, easy transport, etc

Our room had bed bugs! Absolutely disgusting. The staff was unapologetic, and did not even offer to put us up in a better room. When we got moved to another room the beds were not in that much better condition. We stayed overnight here since it was supposed to be close to the airport, but it was still a 20min commute. The water park is not included in the stay, and the water park does not even open till noon. Breakfast was also not included, and looked absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend staying here.

It’s an ok premise as I’ve only chosen this hotel for transit purpose. Even that I feel it’s quite far from the airport, our Grab driver mentioned it’s because there’s a lot of turn around. The bathroom section is quite outdated and I found a small cockroach running around near the kitchen sink. The AC is also not too strong, it takes a while before the room gets cooled off. The only good thing is it’s quite a nice walk to the mall nearby for eating and leisure.

Was good apart from the parties going on right outside our window in the bbq area. When you have just flown 14 hours not great really. Windows are not noise proof. I would probably avoid Saturday nights if you want a good nights sleep

The AC was broken and couldn’t be adjusted to your preferred cooling temperature. We relied mostly on the ceiling fan, despite the AC being on full blast 24/7. Room never cooled off, and it’s really hot and stuffy at night. The hot water heater was broke too. We had to take cold showers at 4am for our early morning departure flight. The general room setup is what I’d describe as motel level.

The design of hotel is so bad that we got upgraded to building behind the reception but only one area has a lift to get to lobby so every time we catch a taxi, we have to walk for ages. No bell service so Youn have to walk for ages as well with luggage. No hot water. Lots of ants in the room. No shuttle bus to next door so you have to walk for ages. Would not recommend for families

Excellent service. Cleaning daily, providing clean towels and clean cups and beds made. Excellent helpful service by reception- our request of twin single beds were granted and actually upgraded to twin double bed when the receptionist saw that my mum is old. When my plane was delayed for another day, the staff was helpful to extend the stay in the same room even though someone supposed to book the same room that day. Iron and ironing board provided would be helpful, rather than we have to ask for it. Initially i even brought my clothes to relatives ' house to iron because i didnt know it is available on request. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 😊

We only stayed for a short visit, and we didn't arrive until very late (in fact, early the next morning) as our flight was delayed by some time. When we arrived I requested a later check out as we were not going to get a lot of time to just sleep, however this was declined by the hotel front counter staff. This was very disappointing to us as we wer told to get out before 11 am

If only all hotels were like this! Madeline and Parita at reception went out of their way to provide us with a room which fitted our needs (thank you again!). Service was impeccable and the hotel was convenient for the airport. We all loved the mall which was accessible by a walkway from the hotel. We will be back!

Location is remote and need to walk 25-30 minutes from MRT .Tough for family with kids & elders to walk.No shuttle offered by hotel.Hotel's contact details are not available at website so no support by Hotel to reach.Swimming pools is not available whereas website shows pool on site.Water park is nearby which hotel recommends to use in 20 SGD.Kids were not happy without pool.Beach is at walking distance of 100 Meter.Resturants are quite far from Hotel.All the tourist places are the other side of this hotel so need to hire Cab mostly.

We had a very short overnight stay whilst waiting for a flight. The hotel was perfect for what we needed but I would consider staying for a longer period. Rooms are spacious and we backed onto a garden area with bbq and a short walk to the beach. You can rent bikes and there is a metro about 10 minutes away if you wanted to go to downtown Singapore.

This was a bit soulless and much further out than we realised. Although the room was good and the view lovely the place just lacks something. It’s a 20 minute walk to the MRT station then a good 30+ minutes on the train to the city. We made it work but it was a bit too far. The waterpark is pretty crap so although you get free access it doesn’t open until lunchtime and then half of it isn’t open. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Affordable accommodation only 15 minutes from Changi in a lively residential area (Pasir Ris). Quite a lively atmosphere with lots of families staying and having their own parties and barbecues in the multiple outside BBQ areas. Quite noisy at times but the AirCon white noise made it OK. Lots of local places to eat and shop and a great water park attached to the hotel (ticket included in the room price). Lovely park / beach right next to the hotel and train station into city just a ten minute walk away.

Good spot for an overnight transit in Singapore. Quiet units on park front but a few minutes walk undercover to shopping centre with plenty of dining options, and short taxi ride to the airport. My kids only complaint was that we didn't have enough time to go to the waterslide park onsite (but with an extra $29 pp entry fee)!

Used this property for a stop over as it was cheaper than staying at the airport and just a 20min drive ($35 taxi) from there. The check in was quick and simple and 5mins walk is a mall with plenty of food and shopping options. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Stayed here overnight on a flight layover. Property is clean. Fridge is bare and shampoo wasn’t the best. It’s really meant to be a leisure and waterpark but good enough for an overlay stay. It’s also closed to a mall with shops and dining options.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The room we stayed in was very spacious, house keeping was great, the food at Rain Forest Cafe was awesome and I like the fact that the hotel has a connecting bridge to the mall. The only thing that I’m not so happy about is that, the male front desk receptionist (I think he’s Indian) who attended to us when we checked in the evening of April 23, 2025, wasn’t really that friendly and welcoming.

Nice room, but the hotel did not offer any good breakfast options. I walked to a McDonalds that was a 10 min walk away to get food. I believe the listing for the hotel showed it was less than a mile from the airport. It was closer to a 20 minute taxi ride and expensive to get back.

Hotel was close to the airport and great for easy access to the water park and shopping centre with dining. However, the facilities in the room were below expectation - just 4 pillows for 4 people (2 queen beds), no extra pillows, blankets, glasses to drink from (just coffee mugs). Nowhere to get ice to make a drink with (other than buying fro $6 from the shop). No bar or other normal hotel facilities. Otherwise room was okay
