We enjoyed staying at Wonders as a home base for our scuba trip to Aruba. It has a lovely courtyard area with loungers and a pool. It is spacious enough that each room had decent privacy in the courtyard. We were able to hang our gear outside to dry, while keeping it safe. The staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast is an extra cost, but a $25 credit covered part of that. There is a gated parking area for your car. The WiFi was good. The beds are a bit on the firmer side, but not uncomfortable. Our room was very big, and had a fridge and cooktop. Ice water was available for us to refill our water bottles every day. We would happily stay there again.

Wonders hotel is a nice and quiet hotel. Place is near in most of the spots that you need to hit. They provide the items that you need to enjoy the beach as well. Rooms are made up everyday and parking is private to keep your items safe.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Everything is so well designed and cared for. I loved all the thoughtful details — you can even borrow items like beach bags and snorkel gear from the décor! The garden and pool area are stunning, and the rooms are spacious, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast each morning is delicious and charming, with plenty of healthy options. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and as a Latin guest, I really appreciated how they do an effort to speak spanish. They made my mom (who doesn’t speak English at all) feel so comfortable and cared for. This hotel is truly a wonderful experience in Aruba, just 10 minutes’ walk from the harbor!

I can’t say enough about this lovely oasis. Clean, quiet. Spacious room, our own patio surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowering plants, breakfast served by the pool each morning. Free shuttle to beautiful Eagle beach with free beach chairs. We were able to enjoy shade under the trees , saving $50 rental for chairs and umbrella. Free cold filtered water available, sodas and beer for nominal fee. Hostess Tesla has thought of everything! It is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and shops ( about 20 minutes) but very safe . We have never experienced a more beautiful, relaxing hotel in our many travels. We hope to return. Highly recommend!

A lovely little hotel in a mostly residential part of Aruba, an easy 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Exceptionally pleasant staff, beautifully appointed rooms, swimming pool in a tree-filled courtyard, home-cooked breakfast and free shuttle to the beach in the mornings. A truly delightful place to stay.

I loved the place, it is a quiet, beautiful house adapted to be a hotel with lushy gardens and an amazing outdoor pool. The staff is incredible and attentive, very supportive and I appreciate the introduction to the facilities and recommendations around the area.

The property had the most beautiful gardens that covered most of the premises. There was a pool. The whole place had an artistry to it. The furniture, the decor, the alcoves. A really pleasant place to be. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was gated parking. The staff was great. The morning breakfasts were excellent (though not included - there was an extra charge for the days you wanted breakfast, and it depended on what you ordered - reasonable pricing). Breakfast was served in the garden area. All in all, I was very impressed. I can definitely recommend this place. The location in Oranjestad was a little off the beaten path (about 3/4 mile from downtown), so I would recommend having a car.

This was my 2nd stay at Wonders with family because it was so relaxing. Almost every room has access to a private or semi-private balcony or patio. The garden and pool area also has several carefully designed private spaces to relax, read, nap or chat. My adult children and I would gather in the morning on my patio, chat and drink our coffee before heading out to a hike or the beach. Breakfast at Wonders is delicious – 3 kinds of syrup for your sweet or savory pancakes, fruit, juice, more coffee – and other choices as well. And incredibly convenient -no crowds or a wait. There is a refreshment area in the garden, stocked with snacks, drinks and wine for a little snack before a dip in the pool and then getting ready for dinner. Although Wonders seemed full from the cars in the lot, because of its design, you really don’t see many people at all. The property is gated and has an area within the compound for your car. It would be a good place for a single woman traveler as I sometimes am. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Wonders provides shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer. The staff at Wonders is attentive but not intrusive. Gaston has excellent recommendations for activities & beaches. He is a wealth of information. Everyone else is so friendly and accommodating. Beach wise there are chairs, scuba equipment, beach totes and coolers. It makes a beach trip so easy. This is a place to reconnect, relax and be happy. We hope to return yet again.

Pros: -Arrived to the location and was greeted immediately upon arrival and provided keys and lodging -Friendly innkeeper during normal business hours -Cameras/surveillance in use -Fridge in room -Breakfast made to order (a la carte and placed the day before) -Two complimentary drinks on day one -Clean exterior grounds and pool -On-site street parking -15 minute walk to city center/mall/Boardwalk -A/C controls in-room -Plenty of sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels at your disposal Cons: -20 minute drive to nearest beach -Looks seedy outside of gates with wild dogs roaming at night -Room #4 is adjacent to laundry room so don’t plan on sleeping in whatsoever -Lamp shades and upholstery filthy/covered in mildew -Grout (originally white) filthy brown/gray from not being thoroughly cleaned -Cats lying on outdoor furniture so you’re covered in pet dander all day long -Limited dining (but, we knew this ahead of time) -No citronella or mosquito repellent treatment on-ground In sum: 6/10. The property is a hidden gem! The staff were incredibly wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic every morning. Everything in the hotel could use a good cleaning. I am allergic to cats and there seem to be cat hair everywhere I needed to cover my chair with a towel. Our only complaint was the cleanliness other than that it’s a wondersful place in a great location. Many fantastic local restaurants in the area

The stay was wonderful. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The garden is great and the breakfast and the service as well. Only a little thing: Our sheets were torn and should be renewed but this does not limit the great experience we had. I would come back any time to this wonderful place and can recommend this to everyone :)! See you soon.

Ambiance of the property. The proximity to beach. Water pressure in the room was great. The staff was respectful. It was very clean and quaint. Our room was perfect. We were downstairs by the pool. The room was large and we made ourselves at home. When we return to Aruba this is where we will stay.

Located a short distance from the marina this resort is an absolute gem. Amazing from top to bottom, loved the room, the bed was comfortable, the lush courtyard and pool area is a dream like oasis. The service was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The area is super safe just like rest of the island. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you Wonders!

The room was great, only drawback, the shower doors need some wd40 so they move smoothly. Staff were grwat, accomading and helpful. The place was so peqceful and felt homey! I wish the distance was closer to the beach though. I would suggest more flexibility with beach transport but overall very nice time!

We loved our stay at Wonders. Teska and her team are wonderful. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and quiet. It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle of downtown and the high rise area. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, air conditioning which worked great, a fridge, electric kettle and basic toiletries. Wonders is about a 1 mile walk to downtown, with sidewalks the whole way. Aruba is warm so the walk mid-afternoon is a little rough. Early morning and evening walks to town and back are more pleasant. We used the Arubus and it was clean, reliable and convenient. It will take you up and down the west coast of the island. The bus picks up in town so you do have to walk to take it. If you’re renting a car, you’ll have ultimate flexibility and Wonders is definitely the place to stay. We look forward to our return trip.

What an absolutely beautiful and unique property! The decor was so gorgeous and welcoming, and the gardens and flora were beyond anything I have seen on Aruba (a desert island!). They offered everything one could need, even extras like beach chairs and tote bags, sunscreen, pool towels, plenty of reading material. Breakfast (optional) was delicious and generous, the staff was all so friendly, and the room was clean and inviting. We loved our stay, though the 5 AM wakeup call from the roosters next door was the one downfall. Highly recommended!

I don't think I can list all the wonderful things about this place full of caracter and personality. I agree with most of the reviews that give it a 4.5/5 or higher. Teska is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Yes, they have all those, chairs, beach towels, cooler, etc. that you can borrow. The breakfast is of very good quality and filling. Our room was "just" a double, but it was pretty big. The backyard might might be one of the best features; some describe it as an oasis and we agree. It's so peaceful with nice palm trees that provide shade, but also other plants and flowers. Niña is super cute, friendly, but not intrusive. The garden is better because of her :) Loved the outdoor shower, which can be used when you come back from the beach so you don't have to take all that residual sand to your room. Oh! I almost forgot about all the books, guides, and useful information with lots of ideas for your stay in Aruba and other world destinations! They're super helpful. Even the guests were so friendly, but the staff gets the biggest prize. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting, but I felt so happy and relaxed there and very glad we had opportunity to stay there.

We enjoyed staying at Wonders as a home base for our scuba trip to Aruba. It has a lovely courtyard area with loungers and a pool. It is spacious enough that each room had decent privacy in the courtyard. We were able to hang our gear outside to dry, while keeping it safe. The staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast is an extra cost, but a $25 credit covered part of that. There is a gated parking area for your car. The WiFi was good. The beds are a bit on the firmer side, but not uncomfortable. Our room was very big, and had a fridge and cooktop. Ice water was available for us to refill our water bottles every day. We would happily stay there again.

Teska and the staff were awesome. Breakfast was good and the coffee was abundant. The room was clean and spacious. I never had to ask for a towel. If you're looking for a nice quiet place away from the crowds, this is it.

My stay at Wonders was absolutely perfect. The property was beautiful and maintained well. It was quiet, and also in a nice neighborhood that was convenient to downtown and the cruise port area. What makes the property so special though, is the staff. Their customer service and friendliness made me feel so welcomed. Next time I’m in Aruba, I will definitely stay again!

If you're on a very low budget this is a good place to stay but realize you must have a car, because the taxi situation in Aruba is terrible, especially where this hotel is located. We had to wait over 1/2 an hour 3 different times to get a taxi and make multiple, multiple phone calls just to get one. You're also a long walk from the downtown, it is not around the corner. There are no real stores or anything around the hotel. You really need to have a car, which we did not have. It's very budget friendly but I would be prefer a hotel to be where it's convenient to walk to shopping, the beach, restaurants, etc.

Wonders Hotel is a peaceful and beautiful oasis. Our room was lovely and nicely air conditioned. Loved eating breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. Teska, the host, was amazing! She was so sweet and accommodating and extremely organized and on top of things. The only thing we did not like was that the location was not near the downtown area and was not conducive to walking. We needed to take a taxi to get around as we did not rent a car. If you don't mind being a little further away from the downtown area and the beaches (or if you rent a car), I would highly recommend Wonders Boutique Hotel for it's charm and hospitality. Coming back from an eventful day at the beach or sightseeing, it is truly a welcoming little haven to relax in.

Comfortable bed. Great shower. The courtyard and pool are so relaxing. It’s a little out of the way and cabs can occasionally be difficult to get, but it’s a feature for us, not a bug. Staff are remarkably accommodating and friendly.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Everything is so well designed and cared for. I loved all the thoughtful details — you can even borrow items like beach bags and snorkel gear from the décor! The garden and pool area are stunning, and the rooms are spacious, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast each morning is delicious and charming, with plenty of healthy options. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and as a Latin guest, I really appreciated how they do an effort to speak spanish. They made my mom (who doesn’t speak English at all) feel so comfortable and cared for. This hotel is truly a wonderful experience in Aruba, just 10 minutes’ walk from the harbor!

The property had the most beautiful gardens that covered most of the premises. There was a pool. The whole place had an artistry to it. The furniture, the decor, the alcoves. A really pleasant place to be. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was gated parking. The staff was great. The morning breakfasts were excellent (though not included - there was an extra charge for the days you wanted breakfast, and it depended on what you ordered - reasonable pricing). Breakfast was served in the garden area. All in all, I was very impressed. I can definitely recommend this place. The location in Oranjestad was a little off the beaten path (about 3/4 mile from downtown), so I would recommend having a car.

The whole place was extremely serene. The staff were very helpful and nice. They decorated the room for my birthday. It was more like staying with family than at a hotel. Everything you need for your stay is there for you to use. Snorkeling gear, coolers, and beach accessories. It is not in town but a short drive to most amenities.

Located a short distance from the marina this resort is an absolute gem. Amazing from top to bottom, loved the room, the bed was comfortable, the lush courtyard and pool area is a dream like oasis. The service was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The area is super safe just like rest of the island. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you Wonders!

This is a charming, beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. Our check in reception was wonderful. We had a beautiful room and enjoyed a lovely breakfast outside. The food was amazing and their coffee was the best that I had in Aruba. The grounds are beautiful and lush with vegetation. We loved the candles throughout the property at night. So beautiful. We met the owner in the morning who served us breakfast. She was so sweet and so lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful, relaxing stay!! This is a charming, beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. Our check in reception was wonderful. We had a beautiful room and enjoyed a lovely breakfast outside. The food was amazing and their coffee was the best that I had in Aruba. The grounds are beautiful and lush with vegetation. We loved the candles throughout the property at night. So beautiful. We met the owner in the morning who served us breakfast. She was so sweet and so lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful, relaxing stay!! This was a lovely quiet place to stay for those not wanting the ambiance of the resort hotels and casinos. It also shows you something of the real Aruba, while still giving you beach equipment to borrow if desired.

This unique home converted to a hotel has 11 rooms all facing a courtyard with amazing tropical plants, singing birds and frolicking butterflies. There are several covered sitting areas with coffee tables and overhead fans. A small pool with water-jets is in the center. Breakfast is available for a fee and served on individual tables in this same area. Our room was modest with a comfortable king sized bed, tile floor, large closet with a safe, and a hot pot for tea or instant coffee. The bathroom was decent size and rather plain. The TV remotes did not work, probably the batteries, but we chose to use the WiFi instead. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

An amazing property, the rooms are extremely comfortable. The pool and gardens are quite special. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended. A self-serve fridge with drinks onsite so you can just chillax on-site sign-out a beer or wine and relax in the garden and pool. Perfect after the beach and tours.
