Resort is little dated but it’s still in great condition. Whole stuff is great, friendly, restaurants on premises are also great. On the premises you have 3 restaurants to choose from, Seabreaze $$$ right on the beach serving mainly seafood, DaVinci $$$ Italian restaurant, Agave $$ Mexican restaurant. Also there’s Coral restaurant serving breakfast buffet and I can highly recommend. 2 bars on the beach, I in the lobby having daily happy hours. Beach is beautiful, but be prepared they charge for the shade min $30/day. Pools are nice too. Overall great experience and definitely will consider it again.

Always Friendly staff members. The hotels accommodations are very good especially for the price and compared to other High Rise Hotels in the area. They seem to be always making improvements some for the better yet some not so. One of my biggest complaints is the rentals of the huts are costly especially when there is no monitoring of it. Many times huts are being used by those who did not pay the rental fee and we saw a lot of people who were not staying at the hotel using the huts for free. I have an issue with paying the $30 a day fee and others especially non hotel guest as well as hotel guest using the huts and not paying a dime. I think this is very unfair and security should be monitoring who is using the huts and if they paid for that hut. They also need more working shower and feet wash stations. Only one at the Beach Bar area was working and it was an inconvenience to walk all the way there to clean off to only have to walk back to the other towers or areas where we were staying. The hotel use to have entertainment like Carnival Dancers, BBQs, flea markets etc. Now it's boring no entertainment only once in awhile they will have a singer in the Lobby area after 6 or 7 pm when most guest are out and about for dinner. Smoking of any kind especially marijuana which is illegal in Aruba should be severally stressed is Not Allowed and will be fined as well if illegal marijuana is used arrest is possible. We had to leave the beach due to 4 guest smoking marijuana.

Hospitality is the name of the game at Holiday Inn resort Aruba accommodations are perfect to spend a week in this paradise, not opulent, but well appointed can’t say enough about the staff in every department grounds are well thought out, a quarter mile of beachfront, never felt crowded. pools and hot tub while maintained. A great day it would be nice if they had service at poolside or beachfront. I will definitely stay again.

Their beach par on premise is a JOKE! $20 for a quesadilla then they tacked on another 3% “service charge.” Plus I had to tip. So $27 for a quesadilla. I’ve stayed in other resorts and they don’t have a service charge. The whole reserving your palapa and having to pay for it is nonsense. I didn’t pay once and just used whatever empty palapa was available. It should be first come first serve and guests shouldn’t have to pay.

Having the pool and the beach right next to each other was good, my children enjoyed the pool so much. Some of the service at the poop bar was good, and some days the service was slow. The restaurants out in town was great, lots of options to eat. A large supermarket was a 7 minute drive away. Tye casino is small with a few tables and lots of slot machines, the hotel beds are very tall, not for small children, we ended up putting the beds together to prevent falls, rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was great, we had an overall good time.

all 3 hot tubs where not working, and it appears they haven't been working inthe last few years. also they use to have music playing.,in the background, you good hear while sitting by the palapas. it appears the speakers were not working.

Great selection in breakfast- omelette station, bacon, waffles, potatoes, yogart, fruit, bread, cereal, pastries and they even had some limited gluten free options. Bed was comfortable. Pool and beach was nice. If you want to stay under the beach umbrella hut have to pay but they do have regular beach umbrellas for free. Drinkable water at the water stations. Just need a bottle to refill. Close to stores and restaurants. Only issue was staying at the sea tower exterior room where just 10mins walk there a beach bar that plays loud music until almost 2am. Had to put on sound machine to drown out the music to be able to sleep. Might not be able to hear the loud music from other rooms. Besides that overall stay was great!

The room was extremely humid despite the A/C being set to 69°F and locked. Floors smelled bad, and the bathroom had no fan or ventilation. The parking gate kept malfunctioning, and the overnight manager, Cliff, was unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, the hotel felt dated and uncomfortable. I'd recommend an Airbnb over staying here.

The Bathrooms by the beach weren't that clean, they have 3 sinks and the sensors for the water don't work only one, the soap dispenser don't work and the bathrooms smell. The hotel needs more deep clean with the right products it never smell fresh during my stayed. Else the bathroom for the room needs a exhausted.

The sea tower section of this resort smells like pure garbage and urine. There were only water fountains outside, nothing indoors. The hotel should have provided at least one or two water bottles. The breakfast tasted awful. The beach/pool chairs were outdated, broken and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were so small. Very disappointed with the entire experience. Won’t stay here again. Staff was great though.

These are the things the Holiday Inn needs to change in order to make the experience so much better: The pool is incredibly small compared to the online photos. The rooms are incredibly small and dated, even though we paid for an upgraded ocean view room. While the beds are comfortable, the pillows are so thick that it hurt my neck and I ended up sleeping on a rolled up towel the entire week. Majority of the staff is not very friendly and the lobby needs some fans because it is sweltering hot even though it’s not hot elsewhere. It is absolutely absurd to have to pay for shade while on the beach.

Overall nice vacation, but our room at Holiday Inn left a little to be desired. The ac was noisy and wouldn’t go below 75, tv remote didn’t work, sliding door to balcony extremely hard to open and close, alarm clock couldn’t be set, it kept going off and had to unplug it.

The beach area was spectacular — beautifully set up and well-maintained. Planning ahead and renting shade is essential. The rooms were clean and functional, but it was surprising that management has not addressed basic upkeep, like broken mirrors and worn frames in elevators, or added air conditioning to the uninviting, poorly designed lobby. We had to switch rooms due to constant 57dB equipment noise from an adjacent building — unclear how anyone can stay near that without better sound insulation. Several room locations at this hotel are quite noisy until around 2:00 AM. While I understand this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault (as the noise comes from nearby properties and the busy street), I do think the hotel should be more transparent with guests about which rooms are prone to noise and offer quieter alternatives when available. In my experience, we had to move rooms twice. Our first room faced a neighboring property that hosted loud parties all night. The hotel responded by moving us and offering a credit, which I appreciated. However, the second room faced a busy street and the town center—also very noisy. It wasn’t until the third room that we were finally able to get a restful night. What was frustrating is that the hotel staff seemed well aware of the noise issues in both previous locations. It begs the question: if I’d already lost a full night of sleep, why place me in another known noisy spot? The service there is terrible. The rooms are outdated. Housekeeping typical came to clean our room when we were preparing for our nightly outing; around 5:00. Our room did not get cleaned on three days, even after we were promised it would be cleaned after we departed for evening outings. The handle on the patio door was broken. This hotel is horrible! We will never stay there again!

I had been to the hotel multiple time before which prepare us to what we can expect. Friendly staff, great location... however in our last day in our last trip in August they did not clean the room and claimed that we had a sign on the door by the time they were doing their cleaning route, 10 am, which is not accurate as they did not do that during our inter stay and they were cleaning the room next to us by 2 pm and we saw that from the beach, we had a ocean front room. when I talked to the front desk and they talked to the room services they refused to clean the room and when I requested clean towels and toilet papers, they stacked a lot of towels on the bed but no toilet papers, I had to call room service three times to get toilet papers finally when I said that I wanted to speak to a manager as I am about to collect toilet papers from public restroom in the hotel because I am completely out and it had been three hours since my initial request, they provided the toilet papers right away. Very disappointed and bad way to finish a lovely stay.

We had such a nice stay for the second time. The hotel is clean and beautiful. We had such a nice view from our partial ocean view room. Most importantly, all of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were stuck for an extra three nights because of a snowstorm, and they were so kind, let us stay in the same room, and gave us a discounted rate for the extra nights. Hugo at the Oceanside bar was incredible. He remembered us from last time and gave us the most excellent service! Would definitely stay here again. So convenient, easy, and in the best location.

Rooms are not ready until 4-430 pm. There is a changing room and safe area for bags. Staff without smiles or greetings. Concierge does not help with taxis, security does, but then security sent us back to concierge, who sat in her booth shook her head at us. We waked to the hyatt and readily had a taxi. No bell staff to help with bags. Rooms were clean and comfortable bathroom is updated. Towel hut hours 9-6 so keep in mind if have early morning excursion, must return towel to have new card for the next day. The property is massive be sure to reserve your beach area via QR code when you get there for a spot.

We arrived at 3 pm. A lot of people were able to get their rooms early but we were told to come back in 1 hour. Which was fine because check in is at 4. So we went back and were told the room still wasn’t ready. Come back in 10 mins. We came back in 15. And we’re told wait to the side and we’ll bring you the key cards. We waited 30 mins to the side and were completely ignored. So now we’re going to the desk for the 4th time. We can tell the supervisor that said wait to the side is ignoring us but is on the phone. Our room was still not ready at 4:40. So I got annoyed because we had dinner plans and have not started our vacation. They gave us a $50 credit and 4 drunk tickets. We were promised our room would be ready at 5:00. At 5:10 we got into the check in line for the 5th time and finally got our room. Our room was in the sea tower facing the ocean and the Marriott resort..and moomba. Moomba is an outdoor bar that has a DJ every night until 2am. It was a fun bar to go to but every night the bass coming in got annoying. Bring your ear plugs in case you get put there. If you have kids then idk how they’re going to sleep.

This is a good property. Great location on beautiful beach and walking distance to lots. Caution if your room is ocean view as one side is above a beach bar. VERY loud music 7 nights a week past 1 am. Wish we knew this. Otherwise a great stay.

This was our fourth stay at the Holiday Inn. I really wish the rooms were updated, but we are really only in the room to sleep. The location is perfect. The property is kept clean and everyone is very friendly and hospitable .

My wife, 16-year old son, and i stayed at the Hilton Inn Resort Aruba February 18-23, 2025. Many of the Tik-Tok videos talked about the beautiful location. I had heard mixed reviews - old, outdated rooms, upkeep of the property, long lines to check-in, and in some regards the service. The location was amazing. We were able to walk right out onto a white sand beach. I give that a 5-star. The check-in process was horrendous. They had people standing in line for nearly 90 minutes. Although I had booked the trip for a Double Room using Hotel.com when I arrived, "Donny" informed that my room was not available and that they would upgrade me to a King room with a balcony. I agreed because we were standing in line and my son was exhausted. The room turned out to be situated looking over a pick ball court and back of the hotel. Not cool. I give this a 2.5 start rating The room was dated and there were stains on the sofa I asked to be moved and was unable to work with management (Evers) to secure a more suitable accommodation. The restaurants did not get good ratings (most 3.5) so we initially stayed away from eating in the hotel because you could walk right outside the hotel entrance and choose from any number of cuisines. However, my son wanted to try one because he didn't want to walk around and so we did. Agave is 4.5 star. The ambiance, service (Ramon), and the food was delicious and so we went back twice during out stay. Overall, I would give the hotel. Hotel service was good.

Older property that has had some upgrades. Pool is nice but you have to pay for an umbrella at the beach. Food is average at best. Eat at the restaurants in the area for better food with cheaper prices. My daughter loved the kids club.

We loved the cleanliness of the resort, great access to the beach and lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Always felt safe. The only downside was I felt that the food could have been better quality. We ate the breakfast buffet every morning because it was included in our package. I was disappointed that the fruit wasn’t as fresh as I expected it to be.

The pool and beach areas are amazing. The rooms were a little dated, but they were clean and comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and nice ( with the exception of a Grumpy Towel Hut employee.) I highly recommend this hotel. The kids ate free too. There were lots of options for dining as well. The waiters at DaVinci and Agave were awesome. Our family had the best time.

Great selection in breakfast- omelette station, bacon, waffles, potatoes, yogart, fruit, bread, cereal, pastries and they even had some limited gluten free options. Bed was comfortable. Pool and beach was nice. If you want to stay under the beach umbrella hut have to pay but they do have regular beach umbrellas for free. Drinkable water at the water stations. Just need a bottle to refill. Close to stores and restaurants. Only issue was staying at the sea tower exterior room where just 10mins walk there a beach bar that plays loud music until almost 2am. Had to put on sound machine to drown out the music to be able to sleep. Might not be able to hear the loud music from other rooms. Besides that overall stay was great!
