The resort is well maintained and the room is clean and comfortable. Location is great. Near lots of restaurants, shops and beaches. Only complaint is the pools close at 8p every night and the 10a check out time (which so happened was not communicated to me). Every interaction with service was pleasant and helpful.

Great for families and convenient location just steps from the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Had some issues with our check in process (room key and all-inclusive bracelets weren’t working), but after that the service was great at restaurants and bars. The beach walk to the adjoining Divi properties was beautiful and easy access to the restaurants in the all-inclusive. The Divi Dutch food/drink options are limited and closed around 7:30pm, which was a bit early. The pools are well maintained and kids had a blast in them, along with the resort’s beach front for more private sand time than the public beaches. Would stay again!

I like everything about the place my room was spacious with a nice little kitchenette area.. the staff was very nice and friendly easy the check-in was smooth I received a complimentary bottle of wine ..I also liked the fact we had access to the whole resort with easy transportation just hop on the shuttle and go …I can’t wait to go back.

Room was lovely but a third floor walk up. Not convenient, no elevators. We were arriving from another Divi property, we asked for early check in, but did not get it, suitcases were stored in hot room (medications and chocolate in suitcase which melted). Difficult to find towels for beach. Reservation included free breakfast, however, we had to "ask for it", it was not on "their screen." Had to go to front desk and pull up Expedia reservation in order for them to honor. Breakfast was lovely, but across the street. One friendly check in person, others not so much. Pool was nice. Beach is almost non-existant due to erosion.

Started out badly with a major flooding of our first room apparently from a shower backup, even though we hadn’t used the shower. Water covered entire bathroom and crept into the bedroom area. Not welcome after traveling all day! Front desk took a little convincing to even move us to a similar room and didn’t offer more than a mild apology.

Thoroughly enjoyed Divi Dutch Beach Resort. Staff were very friendly, smiled, always asked what more they can do, etc. We had a one-bedroom condo and it huge. Accomodations were excellent and housekeeping staff were really good! Palapa's and chairs were always available and beach was not overcrowded.

The gym was absolutely amazing! The cleaning staff did a phenomenal job in the room and there were always fresh, clean towels. Additionally, there were always towels available for the pool/beach. The restaurants were clean and all had air-conditioning. My biggest complaint is that checkout time is at 10 AM and you can only get a late checkout for 11 AM.

Marco the Concierge was excellent. The bar and restaurant staff were great. The resort grounds where we stayed at the Dutch Village were not as well kept up as the Tamarijn or the Divi Aruba. They could use more cleaning protocol outside of the rooms. Rooms were small. Bed was comfy. Water pressure and temperature was excellent. A/C was excellent. Walls were not sound proof and housekeeping staff was loud in closet next to our room - room 29. Front desk not efficient.

Overall nice property, however did not offer many amenities for people who are not doing the all inclusive package. For example, can’t get chairs on the beach in front of the divi, can’t order drinks from the bunker bar, can’t get breakfast at the buffet. We wanted to pay for these items and were told no. Towel cards seem to be excessive for bleach stained blue towels. They didn’t replace shampoo in our 4 day stay. Cleaning the room was making the bed. Parking lot was full in the morning and blocked the cars in with employee cars. There is one small area near the pool that you can get drinks, breakfast and lunch. Checkout time is 10am or you are charged $100 an hour after. The room was very nice, spacious and had excellent access to the pool. If you are ok with cooking or going off property to eat this hotel is an excellent value. You can walk to a nearby casino with some restaurants which is nice. Property is an excellent location. However, If you want something a little more in a resort, I would go somewhere else.

Property as a whole was nice. Liked the pool options and ability to catch shuttle to other areas. Staff was also very friendly. The negatives were that our room was extremely small, no balcony or area to sit outside of room, had a horrible cigar smell and could hear everything from the people in room next to us.

We have been to Aruba numerous times since the 90's and love the island. This was our first stay at a Divi resort. We loved Dutch Village. It's quieter than what we are used to up at Eagle Beach, but we didn't have to fight for a palapa or pool seats and shade.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed in my Expedia booking experience. I thought from the photos and description of my king room, that we were getting a bright room, with balcony overlooking the pool.This was not the case. The room we got was dark, no balcony at all and zero view. It was not what we expected. We went back to the desk and explained this was not what I thought that I booked. They explained this is like an efficiency room..sleeps 2. If you want the balcony, you need to book the rooms that sleep 4. Again, not like the photos or description so be aware. The front desk staff and manager were excellent in working with us. We did upgrade to a much better room, however for a $400 charge. I do believe that the Expedia description is not clear on the room. I would definitely stay here again, but will look into other booking options with clearer descriptions on what I am getting.

For the rate we paid it was far below par. The room was small and dingy with the same old (almost crusty) decor from years ago. The shutters don’t close completely so always light in the room and the airco, fridge were extremely loud/noisy.

We had the best experience. Room was cleaned every time we left. Dishes put away, fresh towels. Fantastic service from front desk as well as little travel golf carts to get you around the property. Even had some great food options. We definitely give it 5 stars

Some of the staff members were nice not all. This is a beautiful resort and we came here to celebrate a big birthday with 10 guests and we were somewhat satisfied . My wife and I was hoping to bring our children but we must do our homework first before choosing Aruba or Divi . The staff needs to be more customer service oriented and make guests feel like home , valued and welcome .

There were several issues with my stay that went completely unresolved, and it seemed the staff did not even try or care. 1) I made reservations a month out on Expedia, I specifically booked a studio suite with a beach view, but got a pool view. I called the front desk and was told; "Beach view? Here? Not here, no." I know that's not true, I saw the beach-view suites. 2) The patio doors were stuck shut, the latch did not work, I reported this 3 times. I was there for 3 days and had no access to the patio. 3) The ceiling fan did not work. I reported this on day 2 after trying to use it the night before. 4) The room had not been cleaned, I could swipe a trail in the dirt with my finger. 4) Water leaked from the shower, I had to put multiple towels on the floor to keep it from getting wet & slippery. (I did slip once but did not fall or get hurt, luckily) 5) Went to the front desk at 8pm on Sat to request a taxi, the front desk was closed! Same thing on Sun night. I would've gladly called my own taxis but was told on 2 occasions that I had to request taxis from the front desk, they would not give me a number for a taxi company. At check-out I raised all these issues, I was told "the manager is in a meeting", was given a card and told to call back, I called and wrote an email, I never got any response. This was a bad experience. I would not reccomend Divi Dutch.

The Divi Dutch Village was on a very nice beach. The rooms were clean, the staff was consistently pleasant, and the island is safe. The other Divi resort properties are next to one another & it was especially nice to be able to use many of the amenities of those as well.

We will def come back to this hotel. We had such a good and relaxing time. All the beaches in Aruba are public which means the locals could come to the beach at this hotel as well. Not the best beach on the island by any means but still, very beautiful and quiet. The hotel is prob 5-10 minutes from downtown area with multiple places to shot and eat.

Staff was very friendly and attentive Mattress and pillows were very comfortable, Food was delicious and great selection. Drinks were great. Room was cleaned daily and a/c worked well. Lack of Hot water a couple times but seemed to happen right around dinner time when everyone was showering from their beach day. Pools and hot tubs cleaned daily Grounds were beautifully landscaped. Rooms are soundproof and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Divi Dutch is in a great location. The beach is twenty steps from any door there. The pools are beautiful, there are three. The buffet is fantastic!!! Especially breakfast!!! There is a shuttle that takes you between all the Divi resorts. Please tip your drivers, and anyone that provides service to you!!! It is a very relax & chill vibe at the resort.

Didn’t like that when we tried to make reservations for dinner at any of the restaurants that are part of the all inclusive package that they said they were booked we noticed that 2 of the restaurants were half empty so we walked in and we were seated

The food quality at the restaurants for an all inclusive were impressive. I frequently stay at all inclusive resorts and I truly believe this place had the best food. Excellent service too. Property is beautiful. Beach is beautiful. Divi Dutch includes the two other attached resorts too. They do limit a bar and restaurant but honestly it won’t make a difference as the included bars and restaurants are excellent. Highly recommend

This is my second time at Divi Dutch first time was last year and my daughter and I loved it so much I returned with my husband. Sadly much has changed. There is a new 2 level all inclusive program (signature and Mega) and the level we got thru Expedia (though much more expensive than last years trip) was the signature all inclusive which was very limited. We could only eat and drink at the tiki bar on the divi Dutch property then all other restaurants and bars we had access to were at divi golf. No bunker bar or any tamarin restaurants. Very disappointing. A lot of new staff. Some great staff still there but difficulty with communication at times. Next time we will likely stay at the Tamarin to utilize theirs and Divi Aruba all inclusive (Divi Divi’s) beachfront amenities and restaurants/bars.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this property and it was great. I was unsure at first but went ahead and booked the all inclusive package at Divi Dutch and it was worth it. The resort itself is clean and nice. With all inclusive you can go to all the other Divi resorts and eat and hang out by the pool there and it’s a quick golf cart ride away. It’s very relaxing and on the quieter side. The main areas downtown are only a five minute cab ride away. Definitely worth it!

“All inclusive” package was not all inclusive. “Signature package” only included one bar on premises that closed 6pm, one pool grill closed 4pm. Two other bars were included but at Divi golf, as well as two restaurants and buffet, also at another resort. Upgrade was $150 per day per person. Resort blamed this mis communication of “all inclusive” on Expedia and other 3rd parties. This change was made a few months ago. We were here last April and came back for the old all inclusive package, not knowing that it had changed. If we knew this, we would not have booked; the price does jot seem worth it. The front desk girl was either new or not very helpful or informative. The brunch at “Windows” restaurant is included but also $35 extra per person. There is a dress code we were not informed about. The staff at “Windows” will treat you well if they think you have money. Waiter Miguel was more pleasant and more attentive when he realized we were tipping well, which was probably a little late. The golf cart drivers were very friendly and helpful as well as the bartenders and servers at the pool bar and grill. I will look for a better place to stay when I return to Aruba
