Clean, good location, small but very nice room. Extremely friendly personnel and great service. Limited parking as others have said, but they have a good plan with overflow parking next door, and there's a street just 50 feet away, so it really isn't a big deal in my opinion.

The actual hotel was a wonderful stay very convenient. Very Park on the other side of the street dog park, etc. The only downside was parking was very small and you had to move your car if you parked in the other property around the hotel by 8:00 AM.

The vibe was cute but quiet hours from 10pm to 9am when people need to get ready for work is wild. If you like zero frills and just need a bed (and not a very good one)? It'll do, but wasn’t really worth it to me. The parking was terrible as well.

Check in process was smooth and without inconvenience. I did not like that the number of parking spaces in the property are less than the number of rooms. I came in and had to park on the neighbors property over night. It made me feel unsafe and pressured to move my car by 8:30 am or risk getting my vehicle towed. Not much of a relaxing time if I have to rush to move my car, and there are no spaces available in the property.

The Agave Inn is a cute renovated motel. The room was very clean with cute and simple decor. For a one nighter is was great. The street gets through the walls, so you can hear people talking while walking to their rooms late at night. Other than that, check-in is quick and simple. There is a number-pad instead of physical keys. You are walking distance to a few restaurants, and only a mile or so away from many more. Parking is very limited on the property, but there is street parking. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

Its a cute cozy place to stay. Checking in/out is easy. The room was clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. Hiwever, if you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. Although you cannot hear your neighbors, you can definitely hear the street. I always travel with my sleep ear plugs so that helped out. I liked the nearby eatery options all within walking distance and having a mini fridge was nice. Parking is limited, but there are nearby options if needed. Overall, when I visit again I would stay there.

Our room was very clean and well set up, with everything we needed for our one night's stay. The shower was also great and the bed very comfortable. And there was a really good Thai restaurant a few minutes' walk away, and a nice bakery just down the street for breakfast. All in all a really great place for our overnight stay.

It was a cute and cozy stay. The bed and sheets were very comfy. Everything you need for a stay. It was very clean, which we appreciated. However, our room was closer to the street, and you could hear the cars going by sometimes which could be really annoying to some people.

Cute property and the desk lady was very nice. The room was small but cute and clean. Has a small fridge and microwave. Quiet until the morning when you can hear all the traffic if you’re in room #1. For the price I paid I’d stay here again.

Easy to use online check in and check out. Housekeeper entered the room before I had checked out, but it’s ok. Maybe a miscommunication using online/text messages. Very clean and comfortable. The room was very cozy, nice bed, good shower. Would return without hesitation.

This was my second stay with this hotel and it will not be my last the ladies who are the management of this hotel. Miss Wendy and Miss Suzan are so sweet and make sure that you are well taken care of. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable. The ease of check-in and checking out on your phone as well as the code for the door instead of a key. This made everything so convenient.

Could not be happier with my experience here and feel super blessed to have booked this location. The staff was easy to work with. And the room is comfortable, surprisingly quiet and the heat pump. Air conditioning system works like a charm and it's quiet... I love that there are hardwood floors here, cleaner. Easier to keep clean! This is not a fancy place, but it is tasteful. Everything is more than sufficient to please most people... even the bed is surprisingly comfortable! And the location couldn't be better, upper State Street. It's a premier location in Santa Barbara and has less congested and lower State Street... everything in the area. It's just a few minutes away... Santa Barbara is an exceedingly beautiful area. The variety of architecture, the verge of Tatian in the climate, the beautiful mountains and terrain, the beach! And don't even get me started on all the interesting cultural aspects in the food scene! Interesting, art and eclectic stores abound! It was also easy to book us online.. The communication with the hotel was perfect and done primarily through text messages.. could not be more happy. I'm still amazed at how quiet my room is am on the bottom floor expected it to be quite loud above... it's not! Perhaps I ended up with a nice crowd here because we're all quiet! Thank you Lord for this wonderful trip and the resources necessary to book it! Thank you as well for the wonderful hotel and staff, the cleaning service that to an exceptional job!

Nice location. We dined at restaurants within walking distance. We had the suite with kitchenette and it was quite large and roomy. Good value for the price. I’ll stay again. As others have said it’s a bit noisy. I used a sound app to drown it out and was fine.

Agave Inn was excellent and very comfortable. Everything inside seemed new and very well considered. Many amenities were included, more than most hotels that cost twice as much! Staff was very kind and friendly. Free parking. Don’t miss Harry’s Plaza Cafe across the street next to Gelson’s Market. It is a fabulous old steakhouse which is very nondescript outside. Also Renaud’s Bakery is great for breakfast or lunch, and also the huge Chaucer’s books.
