Swiss Village Inn

I’m giving this hotel a perfect score because the bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and it was less than half the price of all the name brand hotels in and around Golden.

The staff was excellent and the room was perfect. Nothing fancy - just a nice clean motel with fairly modern amenities. Bigger than average fridge, and a Kurig coffee maker. Nice linens and strong wifi. We had a room that looked straight out over the parking lot and out to the lake..actually sat out front for the sunset.

It was clean and looked after everyday. Close to everything I needed. Affordable prices. I was very happy.

Room was not the cleanest. Burn marks on the table and what looked like boogers crusted on the side. But the worst part was the staff! Soo rude and arrogant! Not nice! They turned off the ice machine and made you ask for a small baggie of it because people were using too much of it! The towels were like sandpaper! They generally made us feel unwelcome! And the outside of the property had junk everywhere! The only good thing was the hot tub was very hot! But had a broken filter on the bottom that your foot would go right into! That hurt! And instant coffee was not good! I will never come back nor would I recommend anyone else to stay! There were multiple people that we unhappy with the place!

The bedding was like from the 1970s. There was no coffee or talk of any being available. Good black out curtains and even though it was quite busy it was nice and quiet.
