Excellently maintained suite that was perfect for my family. The room had everything we needed. It is no frills and obviously a retro motel, but outstanding for the price. The courtyard, pool, BBQ area, and patios were perfect. It far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely stay here again.

First stay at this motel, and won’t be the last. We booked the one bedroom suite and it was spacious for our whole family. Loved not needing room key cards and instead having a code for the door. The kids utilized the pool, and enjoyed all the pool toys and floaties provided by the motel. Wished the hot tub was up and running but it wasn’t. Older motel but well taken care of, and I loved the retro feeling of it. Took 3 minutes to walk to the beach. It’s across the street from Loco Landing Adventure Park.

Room was good, swimming pool the kids loved to play in, common area with bochi ball/cornhole/yard zee was fun, bbq area is a great thing to have they just need too be cleaned out. The beds were uncomfortable is the worst part. The location is great and we would stay here again even though the beds are not that comfortable.

Very clean rooms, cute decor and quiet location. It’s an older motel but well taken care of. Pool was closed for maintenance which was a bit of a disappointment but opened again later in the evening so they were on it. Good value for money for sure

The room was not clean. I don’t think they cleaned or washed the floors in the last year or more. My feet were black after walking around barefoot. The sheets and towels were clean although one towel had a large hole in it. This place needs to do a better cleaning job. The place is old but that’s no excuse to be dirty. The location and pool were good.

Shower water temperature was extremely hot suddenly. One of my family got red skin due to extreme hot water. We told the problem and they had never fixed next 3 days. Room was so dusty as you can see picture air conditioners is covered dust. Floor was so dirty I got a foot infection on my feet. We stayed before the pandemic, they were sparkling clean that time. Now they are going downhill due to new management company. Manager was “smoking” near the pool

Although a little older (my wife remembers staying here as a teenager) it was clean. A previous guest had stolen the HDMI cable for the tv (yes we have Netflix on my iPad and laptop) but once informed they came quickly to fix. Steps from the beach, bike rentals and some good restaurants. Starbucks and Tim Hortons also also not far.

Our room was non-smoking but it had obviously been smoked in previously to the point where the air was pretty gross. The deadbolt to our door didn't work, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on outside and in adjacent rooms. We booked this place partially because it had a hot tub, but it was out of service. We spent 30 minutes here before finding a different hotel to stay at. It was worth losing the $70 on this room to not have to spend the night here.

I booked a one bedroom suite for myself and two girlfriends. Good unit as each of us had a bed. Full kitchen. 2 minute walk to beach. We were on the quiet side of the motel. Motel is like the other motels around. Dated and maybe in need of an update. Honestly the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The pool area was very busy so didn't use it. The check in was quick and done over the phone which I liked. The unit definitely was what we needed as a home base for our self guided wine tour. We will definitely stay here again. Price, location, and amenities make it a return.

The Bowmont is a great for gathering groups, with the common dining/cooking area. The location is unbeatable, right across from Loco Landing and a block from the beach, but not along the main beach (less walking traffic.) Downsides: the building is old (example - anyone using water in your unit or other units turns the water scalding); the office being closed after 6pm is sometimes inconvenient; sound travels well when groups hang out outside late - but all of that is fine as long as you're prepared.

This not what they call pet friendly, your pet not allowed even go to the courtyard in this property. You cannot find any staff or responsible after 6 p.m in this hotel even they not answering the emergency phone they have on office windows.

We try to make Penticton once a year. The Bowmont is our go to motel if it’s available. Proximity to canal, lake, loco landing and restaurants is amazing. Room kitchenette was adequate and stocked with what you need. A bit noisy in the pool area with lots of kids but the week days are great!! Cheers

This is a funky 1950s-retro-style motel. The location was great..situated right across from Okanagan lake. The beds were super comfy, rooms were reasonably clean. This is a great family spot with lots of walking options nearby. There are several restaurants within walking distance. There’s a fair bit of noise that travels between the rooms if you happen to be a light sleeper. Overall good value for the cost.

Good value, basic budget motel. The location is near the lake, restaurants and the main sports/entertainment venue in Penticton. Rooms are dated and a bit tired, but mine was a good size, well-maintained and clean. I visited in off-season and arrived after hours, and there were no staff in the office, but communication was good and I was given pass code for the room. I would stay there again when next in Penticton.

As per my past experience rates were high for the property. Bedsheets were not clean they had stains all over the sheets. No room service and no option of breakfast.
