Stayed 2 nights

Booked 2 nights in a double room for our first wedding anniversary. We were checked into a room with 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets. When I questioned it at reception, I was told that it is the equivalent to a double room and there was no offer to move us. The hotel was what you would politely call "rustic", the front door to our block of rooms was covered in spiderwebs and dirt and the carpets were manky. Our sink plug was stuck shut. We went to the restaurant for a meal in the evening to be ignored for 20 minutes and when I went to the bar to order at 9.05pm, we were told the kitchen closed at 9pm. It was that bad, we checked out after the 1st night. When they asked if the stay was okay and I told them the truth that we were not happy, the receptionist just said "ok" and was not bothered in the slightest. They didnt answer our emails or calls and when we finally for through using hotels.com to help us and requested a refund for the 2nd night, they point bank refused. Avoid at all costs.

We skipped the breakfast which we had included in our price, because there were MICE running around. The place should not been operating with a rodent problem like this.
