The site promises a swimming pool but this is under construction (jan 2023). We did get a room last minute for a highly reduced rate, but the pool was still promised on the site here. Red hotel has windows on the outside to the road. Opera hotel has more expensive rooms with balconies with view on the pool. But it’s the same hotel, weirdly enough. So you get some of the luxury of the more expensive hotel, such as an amazing breakfast buffet, all staff wearing suits. But the Room are more like a 3 star or less. It looks ok and was clean, but an unpleasant smell. Matras and pillows are very hard. Quite a lot of Noise from the street, even with the double window closed. Depending on the prize they ask this may be a good deal if you need to be close to the train station and supratours long distance busses. Also close to the airport. You will be in the modern part of town, plenty of restaurants within 15 min walk and modern western clothing shops. The old center with the markets is a 45 minute walk or a short taxi ride.

Good location if you’re arriving by train, as situated adjacent. Traffic is busy and noisy but hotel rooms have good sound proofing so not an issue & provides interesting viewing! We were unhappy with our initial room (dark, no balcony & smelly) and the staff were very quick and helpful, stating they wanted us to be happy. 2nd room was much better with great shower. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was a lovely place to relax. Be aware this hotel has had a few names : Red / Opera and now known as The Grand Plaza (shows all names online) but it’s all the same place which confused me and the taxi driver initially! Convenient location, helpful staff & a great breakfast.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay at the red hotel. Staff were accommodating and welcoming. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was terrific, genuinely, it will set you up for most of the day. It's even convinced me to have omelettes nearly every day for breakfast now back home. The only real downside was the pool area blocked off as it was under significant renovation. This was not advertised in advance, which I understand why not, but I do think it's a bit cheeky to not make this known when people are booking and looking for hotels. Also, the shower was a complete mystery as the shower floor quickly flooded making it impossible to enjoy the shower for more than 30 seconds at a time. It was a very convenient location, with taxis always passing by and accessible and the nearby downtown very walkable this time of year. Just be careful to not overpay for transport. I would recommend however for most circumstances.

Work going on so a lot of noise, we were told we’d be offered another room the following day, but never saw manager again. They charge you 500md per day for a deposit which they don’t tell you about when you book! Pictures look nicer than it actually is. Mid range 35min walk to Jama ElFina and 15 to shopping centre

Hotel is in a great location opposite Marrakech train station and rooms was clean and of reasonable size. Oddly had to use the adjoining hotel entrance but reception staff kindly printed off our boarding passes for us and breakfast was great.

We couldn't sleep at night!!! balcony to the street - noisy all night. Small room and old furniture, the bathroom with a green stains and signs of accumulated dirt. Hard and uncomfortable bed. The smell of sewage when the air conditioner is turned on. Weak internet connection. Because the hotel is part of the adjacent Opera Plaza Hotel, therefore the breakfast was good, and also the pool, and also the staff is nice and friendly. never again.

Unfortunately it was not a pleasant end as on check out they told is that one Bath towel missing and we have to pay 500 dirham for missing towel, we told them on our first day we saw 3 bath towels but after that their housekeeping team kept only two towels but they didn't believe us and asked us to pay 500 dirham. I refused to pay as that was not our fault.Although I offered to check our luggage. They wasted our 40 minutes and due to this we were late the airport. Their toilet flushing system was terrible as well. Breakfast was lovely.

At check-in, the agent did not inquire if I wanted to make a deposit and instead chose to empty the minibar, assuming I would consume items without paying. This behavior was unprofessional. The correct procedure is to ask if I wish to make a deposit and, if I decline, to charge me for any extras directly. Instead, she made an erroneous judgment and chose to empty the minibar. I found her actions offensive and believe her conduct should be addressed. Throughout my stay, I did not feel comfortable. Additionally, at check-out, the agent held me at the reception to check the room. The way I was treated was not professional. The sray and check in was good but was made to miss early morning train I'd booked because having told the staff i hadn't used the mini bar i was forced to wait whilst a security guard went to my room to seek confirmation that what i said was true. Once this was confirmed i tried to leave and when exiting my path was barred by two more security guards telling me i couldn't leave until i had checked out. Again my word was not good enough and i was held until this was confirmed. Im not sure who runs this establishment but ive stayed in many five star hotels and none of them treat you like a criminal or a liar.

Aardig personeel maar niet zo professioneel, receptienummer gewijzigd niet doorgegeven, wel op een goede locatie om veel op voet te bezoeken. Openbaar vervoer is voor de deur, tegenover treinstation en zeer drukke straat. Zeer goede kamer en douche en uitgebreid ontbijt. Red en Opera samen gevoegd waardoor alles groot wordt en onveilige indruk maakt. De receptie van Opera werd gebruikt waardoor Red accommodatie verlaten leek. Toch mooie tijd hier gehad. Alles is te vinden in de buurt, Ferkous restaurant en Gillis aan de overkant.

J’ai passé une très bon séjour dans cette hôtel, et c’est le personnel qui a veillé à ce que nous nous sentons chez nous. Un grand merci à Meriem, Hassania, Charaf, Soufiene et le monsieur qui préparait les jus d’orange frais chaque matin qui ont rendu le séjour exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner du matin était vraiment délicieux et la restauration sur place également. Je reviendrai dans cette hôtel pour mes prochains séjour à Marrakech.

Good location, handy if you are planning to travel around Morocco as the train station is directly opposite. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Walk to the main square is about 45mins or 10mins by taxi. Hotel is quite basic but clean, rooms are spacious. Facilities are shared with sister hotel Opera Plaza hotel which is a much nicer hotel. Breakfast is decent with several options.

Hôtel très propre, les services sont vraiment top, la piscine est grande entouré d’arbres parasols et transats service aux chambres avec de la bonne bouffe et aussi le resto de la piscine et le buffet petit déjeuner très variés et agréable. Je retournerai sans hésitation

The hotel restaurant has limited choices yet delicious food. Hotel is undergoing renovation while I was there, but place is clean and presentable.

Good hotel located conveniently near the station and Medina. The staff at the hotel are excellent. Bountiful breakfast!

Great hotel across street from train- only street side rooms but can be in side street vs front which is much noisier- is part of opera hotel and you have to emter thru that entrance- best AC we had in Morrocco- good but crowded bfast

J’ai passé une très bon séjour dans cette hôtel, et c’est le personnel qui a veillé à ce que nous nous sentons chez nous. Un grand merci à Meriem, Hassania, Charaf, Soufiene et le monsieur qui préparait les jus d’orange frais chaque matin qui ont rendu le séjour exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner du matin était vraiment délicieux et la restauration sur place également. Je reviendrai dans cette hôtel pour mes prochains séjour à Marrakech.
