Great hotel in a great location if you don’t want to be a 15 minutes cab ride away from the central hub. What is not conveyed is that all the hotels in the region are NOT accessible by taxi’s. If it’s your 1st time in this region you will dropped off where there are guys with trollies who want to charge you kings random to take your luggage to the hotel, which is. 5 minute cobbled narrow streets away. If you use them barter them down. We got away with 5 euros. On leaving, the hotel will book you a cab, but again you need to walk to the circle where the other cabs park up. This area is not for anyone who is not good on their feet, or not fit enough to climb up all the stairs at the hotel. The hotel also runs its own cookery class, which is highly recommended. Book it with them. Several of the excursions, especially YSL do book well before you travel. Would I go back? Yes…

J’ai séjourné 5 nuits dans ce Riad et ce fut un superbe séjour ! Si je retourne à Marrakech, je n’hésiterai pas une seconde à y revenir. L’accueil est exceptionnel et le personnel fait preuve d’une grande gentillesse, toujours disponible, serviable et de bon conseil. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié de pouvoir prendre nos déjeuners sur place, recevoir de précieuses recommandations sur les activités à faire, et profiter de la piscine du rooftop, un véritable havre de paix avec un cadre magnifique. Merci pour tout!

Beautiful place. We stayed for 5 nights and we're not disappointed. Roof top pool and loungers were great. Service was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful. Air conditioning in our room not as cool as we would have liked, but really only used it to sleep in. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation if you want a Riad experience

Service was fantastic. It's a very cool property. Easy to get to and nice rooms. Breakfast was very light but good. As others have pointed out the beds are not great. The hot tub is not hot and has no heater. That was a disappointment. The heated pool was heated to a temperature that would be fine if it was 85f but in the 60s...it's a no. The rooftop area was great to chill. It's worth a stay.

Ein sehr schönes Riad in zentraler Lage mit überwiegend zuvorkommendem Personal. Schlechte Erfahrungen haben wir mit unserer Hamam und Massage Buchung gemacht. Das Hamam war kalt, die Anwendungen wurden trotzdem durchgeführt. Es wurde so getan als wäre alles okay bis wir selbst darauf hinwiesen dass die Beheizung fehlt. Dann hieß es, es geht gerade nicht und wir wurden mit mehr Wasser beschüttet. Leider war es trotzdem nicht warm, nicht einmal die bereitstehenden Kerzen wurden angezündet, das Personal war also nicht an einer angenehmen Atmosphäre interessiert. Nach Ende der Behandlung wurden wir in ein Vorzimmer mit Abstellkammer-Charme gestellt und es wurde uns verkündet, dass die Massage in unserem Zimmer stattfindet. Dort war es allerdings ebenfalls kalt und die beiden Masseurinnen bauten ihre Klappliegen im winzigen Zimmer auf während wir daneben standen und nass bibberten. Nachdem sie unsere benutzten Handtücher aus dem Bad geholt haben um sie auf der Liege auszubreiten ging es los. Eine knappe Stunde frierend massiert werden, während die Masseurinnen gegen Schränke rammen und ihre ölflaschen auf uns ablegen weil kein Platz war. Alles in allem eine sehr unentspannte Angelegenheit, wegen der man uns zwar finanziell entgegenkam, die aber dennoch unangenehm war. Spabehandlungen also lieber außerhalb des Hotels buchen.

We cannot say enough good things about this Riad. The Riad is super clean and beautifully furnished. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Riad breakfast is tasty and filling. We also ate dinner at the Riad one evening and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The pool is refreshing, especially in the summer heat. We also appreciated that the Riad arranged a late night pickup for us and had a staff member walk out to meet us at the Medina entrance at about 1:00 am. We would definitely stay again.

Riad Jona is a little gem tucked slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Jema El Fenaa but close enough to walk there and back within less than 10 mins. The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has a little pool, a hot tub and a roof top and three floors with its unique decor to enjoy time at this Riad. It’s well maintained and a very clean place. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were always at hand. Hassan, Abdul and Aziz are all assets to this Riad. They were so welcoming and nothing was ever too much for them. I would not hesitate to stay there again as it’s a very central place and staff are brilliant.

Had an amazing time at this Riad. Hassan was an amazing host and gave me lots of details about the area and where to explore. The property was immaculate. Breakfast was fresh and amazing for it being included in the price. The room was beautiful! Would highly recommend to stay here. I wish I was here longer! Rooftop & pool were fantastic to relax. The only super minor complaint was that I didn’t receive my silver VIP perk.

Beautiful riad with great service and good location! It was quite few rooms, so it felt very privat and you got to know the very friendly and helpful staff, that gladly gave us tips about ot stay in Marrakech. The hotel was a little bit worn out, and I didn't want to use the bathtub as it was quite staind (in no way dirty, just very worn), but the atmosphere made up up for it. An extra pluss that we could have breakfast, lunch and dinner wherever we wanted at the riad, and we really enjoyed the opptipn to have dinner at the terrace right outside out room. And breakfast on the roof terrace. It was very quite despite being in a quite noice area.

This place was in a great location, walking distance to everything! We felt very safe and the staff was very helpful! They even let us change rooms after we found that the room we had didn’t have a bathroom door instead just a curtain. I really like bathroom doors so they moved us to a room that had one and that was really appreciated! They have wonderful amenities too and I wish we were able to use them more. They were also flexible with breakfast as we had came done late one morning but they still served us. Oh and they made me the best mojito I had while In Marrakech! We had a great time! Will be back!

In the room there is no fridge to keep your cold drinks. Lights in room are not bright. Breakfast was not that good only break jam and butter. Coffee was good but tea was lemon not that good. All staff were good and polite and good services. Points to: They need to keep small fridge in roon Kettle to make tea Muslim shower in toilet.

Camera piano terra praticamente in sala colazioni. Con una porta che lasciava passare ogni rumore. Dalle 6 del mattino non si dorme più sembra di essere al mercato. Forse le camere ai piani più alti sono bellissimo ma non abbiamo avuto questa fortuna.

Un riad qui se revendique 4 étoiles, mais qui est très loin du niveau attendu. La chambre « ground floor » donne directement sur l’entrée et est extrêmement mal insonorisée. On entend absolument tout : les passages, les conversations, et même les occupants de l’étage lorsqu’ils utilisent les toilettes. De plus, la lumière du riad éclaire directement la chambre toute la nuit, en l’absence totale de rideaux ou de volets, rendant le sommeil presque impossible. Résultat : nous avons très mal dormi durant tout le week-end. Le petit déjeuner est décevant et ne propose rien de local : il est essentiellement européen. Les œufs ne sont pas proposés spontanément, il faut les réclamer, et ils sont limités à un seul œuf par personne. Toute demande supplémentaire est facturée en plus, ce qui est tout simplement inadmissible pour un établissement de ce standing. Si vous préférez un petit déjeuner salé, il vaut mieux aller manger à l’extérieur. Enfin, la chasse d’eau de notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas, nous obligeant à utiliser les toilettes communes de l’hôtel. Rooms were a good size, clean, and beautifully decorated. There was a roof top pool and a roof top hot tub. The best part of the Riad was the staff, who went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Riad Jona is a beautiful oasis in Marrakech! I definitely recommend staying here- the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the outdoor spaces are wonderful. The food is pretty good and convenient. Our one issue was that the safes in the rooms were a bit small and not secured to the room in anyway.

The place is nice and in an ok location. They have done well with trying to make it resort like but it’s not a resort. The beds are terrible like sleeping on plywood and the pillows are just as bad. The place is very noisy, you can hear normal conversations through the wall and the alley way out front is extremely noisy.

Avoid and beware!! Horrible customer service. Will not issue a refund for a reservation when we were stranded in Lisbon airport in the energy blackout and could not fly to Marrakesh. Expedia also reached out on my behalf. If they won’t provide service for this, I would not trust them with anything.

All staff were very helpful and Mohammed went above and beyond. I needed ibuprofen and as it was a Sunday all pharmacies were closed he knew one that was open and took his scooter and got us some. It’s very peaceful and quiet has a small but usually empty pool easy to get a sunbed. Convenient as walkable to main square no need for taxis to shops souks etc. Would definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough. My third visit and have stayed in Hivernage which it further out but Jona is perfect location.

Great hotel in a great location if you don’t want to be a 15 minutes cab ride away from the central hub. What is not conveyed is that all the hotels in the region are NOT accessible by taxi’s. If it’s your 1st time in this region you will dropped off where there are guys with trollies who want to charge you kings random to take your luggage to the hotel, which is. 5 minute cobbled narrow streets away. If you use them barter them down. We got away with 5 euros. On leaving, the hotel will book you a cab, but again you need to walk to the circle where the other cabs park up. This area is not for anyone who is not good on their feet, or not fit enough to climb up all the stairs at the hotel. The hotel also runs its own cookery class, which is highly recommended. Book it with them. Several of the excursions, especially YSL do book well before you travel. Would I go back? Yes…

Upon arrival from the airport, there is a 5 min walk via a market and cobble floor to the Riad. As our taxi was arranged via the Riad, they had arranged for a baggage transporter man (unaware to us). The baggage transporter man expected a tip however we we're yet to withdraw local currency and no ATM was nearby so we ended up giving a much larger dedomination in USD. For a Riad of this standard, you would expect the Riad to just charge extra during booking so the tip is included and avoiding these inconviences. Breakfast: Local breakfast served consisting of local breads and spreads. No cereals, eggs etc. We also experienced delays with being served, waiting almost 45 minutes. Location: The location is very good, walkable distance to all the souks. We found it safe during day and night.

We cannot say enough good things about this Riad. The Riad is super clean and beautifully furnished. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Riad breakfast is tasty and filling. We also ate dinner at the Riad one evening and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The pool is refreshing, especially in the summer heat. We also appreciated that the Riad arranged a late night pickup for us and had a staff member walk out to meet us at the Medina entrance at about 1:00 am. We would definitely stay again.

Great location close to the Bahia Palace, Saadien tombs and the main square. We were graciously greeted, given tea & sweets and then shown around this beautiful Riad with roof top terrace, whirlpool and delightful refreshing swimming pool. Rooms are all individually decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and dinner on the upper terrace superb! Staff all incredibly welcoming and helpful, they all spoke excellent English.

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed. Room very spacious and cleaned daily. Location is great right in middle of old town close to everything and the hustle and bustle of the town. Rooftop chill area was a nice surprise with pool and hot tub and plenty of loungers. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
