The TV turned on several times during the night, I think a guest in the next room was trying to turn their tv on (I could hear them moving around) but their remote turned my tv on. I turned it off with my remote and they turned it on again - very very annoying. I told the young woman at reception who I thought could have reacted better, with more empathy and potentially an apology (but didn’t).

Very nice property with friendly front of desk staff. My only disappointment was the lack of any restaurant/coffee/bar area and there’s no one on the property after 5pm. The communication was terrific though, no complaints there. We couldn’t use any streaming platforms on the tv either which was a bit annoying. Would definitely stay again though.

We stayed at this hotel a few months ago and circumstances brought us back. It’s a delightful place - good communication, quality in all areas and so wonderfully made ‘grand’ again. And, the pub across the road is such good value too - a real country feel. We will be back at some stage to enjoy another stay

We really loved the room we booked. The bed was super comfy and the complementary snacks were just what we needed after a day of travelling. The location is ideal walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. We'll definitely stay again.
