5-10min leisurely walk to the beach across the road. - coffee van on sight with toasties and muffins etc - Pool is great for the kids. - BBQ facilities - Accommodation was totally fine. 5 beds, 1 large double, 1 bunk bed and 1 additional bed. - microwave, kettle, aircon, shower - plenty of power points - 5min drive to mooloolabah and cotton tree. - 7mins to Sunshine Plaza 5th or 6th time weve stayed

Pleasantly surprised by this property - first time staying in a cabin. Despite it being and feeling a little compact it had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and games room. Some shops and beach near by so the car was hardly used whilst we stayed there. We will return.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for 2 out of the 3 days we were there and the oven in our cabin was broken. Management were very nice and came to check, got it working then it stopped again. They bought up an air fryer for us to use. By then dinner was 1.5 hours late and everyone was grumpy. The photo of the beach on Expedia is a bit misleading as we thought the campground was closer to the beach than it actually was. Also, the playground in the cqmpground is for quite little kids-so our jods were not interested in it. Otherwise we liked the cabin, it was a good size. Our bed was comfortable but our kids say their beds were not comfortable and were noisy as they were covered with thick plastic for hygiene sake. Kids beds were not made up on arrival as we would have expected. We were really impressed with how quiet it was at night, how families respected the quiet times of the campground.

Coffee shop out front does great coffee, and the pool is nice and warm, walkable distance to were ever you need to go, when back in mooloolaba will be staying here again

Alex beach cabins was a great spot. 4 minutes walk to the beach. Cabins with all the basics needed. A warm pool and a plat area. Food truck one night, restaurants and takeaway nearby. A coffee cart onsite in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would go again

I was provided sheets to make my own two single beds. I understand this is not too of the range accommodation but I think that needs improvement. Pool was closed minutes after arrival so kids could not use. It was clean and adequate for one night. I would not recommend or stay again.

Our 3 night stay was great! We booked the 5 person, 2 bedroom home/villa (cabin 87). Everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was big. The lounge had 3 seater and 2 seater couches, and a free-to-air TV. The queen bedroom also had a free-to-air TV. Good cupboard space with hangers. 3 aircons (lounge plus each bedroom), and fan in lounge and main bedroom. If wanting to cook, bring own oils, condiments, alfoil etc - and may need to bring a larger saucepan as 2 smallish saucepans and 1 medium sized frypan in the kitchen. Modern fridge/freezer, microwave and gas stove/oven. Small patio off the front door with a couple chairs and table, great for relaxing. Very quiet park, the only noise was from the kids having a blast riding around on their holidays. I checked out the amenities block which was very clean, and had lots of showers and toilets. Our cabin was a great family option, and if I'm back up that way again, Alex Beach Cabins is where I'll stay.

Lovely clean, modern 4 bed cabin. Parking next to cabin. Kitchen well stocked with equipment. Good size fridge freezer. Nice hot, powerful shower. Walking distance to the beach. Quiet site, no late night noise.

Upon check in was a burst main water pipe which the staff did not mention. We arrived in swim gear comming from the beach and when arriving in the cabin we had no water. When calling it got stated that an email had been sent. It was sent 5 min prior to check in. This Is poor customer service. Water was back on after 45 min. The AC only works when one key is in the wall key hole. The unit was terribly old and loud. Cleanliness and furniture etc has been good.

2br cabin spacious, clean and well-appointed, especìally the kitchen.. Thick fluffy towels, lovely crisp bed linen and very comfortable bed -- thanks to cheerful staff for a great stay.

Really great property and very clean. Good value for the money paid. I just wish that the extra pillows in the closet also had cases on them. Oh, the WiFi password on the fridge didn’t work but otherwise, a great safe stay.

This place was not a very nice stay at all in there cabins Sqeeky floor in bathroom every time at night when someone used it it sqeeked queen bed so uncomfortable my adult daughter’s and 2 kids under 4 had bunks to sleep on so uncomfortable and not wide enough so they ended up sleeping on the mattresses on the floor also cabin was small with not much room to move around in

This trip was very last minute and Alex beach cabins was one of the few properties that was still affordable. It was a good comfortable base from where we could explore the Sunshine coast. Thought it was beachside but u actually still had to drive. Its about 5 minutes to mooloolaba. We were in a corner cabin and while privacy was good, the wifi was bad. U could only get it if u were sitting at the dining area. It would also be helpful to have a dishrack for drying plates.

Great place to crash for the night as we had an event to attend. Cabins are very close to each other. Can hear everything from both your neighbours. Otherwise am excellent location. Walking distance to plenty of dining and the beach.

Friendly & helpful staff on check in & out. Only stayed overnight but it was Saturday night & envisioned some possible noise but was pleasantly surprised by the lack of it. No reason to complain about anything, got what I paid for. Will return. Thank you Alex Cabins.

We arrived after check in and the directions on how to check in were never sent to my phone. I made a call and the guy was annoyed until he realized they didn’t me info. He said he’d be right down which just upstairs above us. He acted irritated. We got to our room and there were no sheets on the bunk beds and no one available. I had a very uncomfortable night and the price was $175. Disappointing

The staff after checking were rude and disrespectful. They even came to do a cabin check at 8:30 at night. I am a single mother travelling with a small child and our dog was not in the cabin as they thought and indeed in our campervan as we stated. The intrusion was not apologised for and the lady on the phone was rude and not at all understanding. I did not hide the dog and I made a booking online as the place said it was pet friendly. I booked a cabin for myself and my child and my pet stayed in our self contained van. I was very disappointed and instead of booking a further night we decided to leave and go elsewhere.

Such a lovely, clean park in a great central location for our needs. Our only recommendation would be to have enough data in your plan to hotspot if you wish to stream anything. This was not a surprise though- very well advertised when we got there. Staff were all lovely!

A comfortable, clean cabin. We had a DB one backing on a pond — very quiet. Close to beach, SLSC, fenced play park … I enjoyed a dip in the pool and thought the coffee and pizza vans were a great addition.

I was there for study purposes, and I loved that they had a coffee van there of money and the food vans of an evening is a fabulous idea. I didn't feel like going anywhere or searching for something to eat, but the pizza van provided me with dinner. The cabin was affordable and comfortable. Will stay again.

Nice area, walking distance to the beautiful beach. My MIL’s property was lovely, and spacious. Having a morning coffee van on premises was great and having food vans come for tea options was awesome.
