This was a fantastic hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was in an excellent location across the road from a swimming beach and 30mins walk from the old town. The surrounding area had lots of cafes and bars, although the hotel itself was in a quiet tree lined street. There was a coffee maker iin the room, and air con was much appreciated. They kindly allowed us to park in front of the hotel even though we arrived several hours before check in. The hotel is a beautiful old building which has been modernised inside. If we were back i San Sebastian we'd definitely stay there again

this hotel is very nice. They don't guarantee parking, but we were able to park in the driveway and leave the key with the staff, and they managed to move cars around and fit everyone in, which was great. We had a little balcony, and could see the view, which I recommend requesting. As much as I love this hotel, I would have preferred to be closer to the old town where all the better dining options are. Also, a bottle of water, per person, per day is expected when you pay this (high) price for a room. They have a safe in the room, which is good.

The best location on the beach. The staff are wonderful. I remember using a similar hairdryer in 1975 in Spain, but it still worked! Very quiet at night and this section of the beach is less busy. Great restaurants nearby that open at 7pm.

Disappointing which started with an unfriendly welcome. The room was average, the lift could be heard groaning and the bed was the most uncomfortable of our trip (10 different hotels). Overpriced.

One paper cup and one small pack of tissues were give for a three-hights stay. It is undeertableable given it is a 2* hotel, but the price matches that of 4* ones in the other side of the city.

Although in a great area, the place needs a makeover. My room felt damp, there was mold in the bathroom and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The severely overpriced breakfast was depressing and disappointing. Overall, i would not stay here again

The hotel was quite nice and clean. It is close to La Concha but away from the Old Town. The bus system is excellent. I would have appreciated the front desk staff to be more welcoming and helpful after we arrived. I would stay here again.

Staff were more than helpful and friendly! them speaking English was very convenient and helpful. Staff new the area and were able to give great recommendations. Hotel and grounds were very beautiful and well maintained. I was in Room 103 and it had a little mold forming along the ceiling at the window in the bathroom, may be a worthy future investment to add ventilation to the bathrooms to prevent this from happening. All in all the hotel was amazing and I will recommend to all to stay there!

Good location. SUPER helpful and knowledgeable staff - just can't give the staff and cleaning crew enough stars/happy faces!! Truly a good stay. Only opportunity would be a more comfortable bed (mattress needs replacing or maybe the frame?). Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Many thanks.

This is a true gem ! its a very nice property located across the street from the beach and a beautiful promenade. 20 min walk to the old town or 9 Euro by taxi ( I am sure there is a bus). Very nice and spacious room and bathroom. Staff is fantastic ( both friendly and knowledgably) Great dining options around the corner. I hope to come back

This is a true gem ! its a very nice property located across the street from the beach and a beautiful promenade. 20 min walk to the old town or 9 Euro by taxi ( I am sure there is a bus). Very nice and spacious room and bathroom. Staff is fantastic ( both friendly and knowledgably) Great dining options around the corner. I hope to come back

this hotel is very nice. They don't guarantee parking, but we were able to park in the driveway and leave the key with the staff, and they managed to move cars around and fit everyone in, which was great. We had a little balcony, and could see the view, which I recommend requesting. As much as I love this hotel, I would have preferred to be closer to the old town where all the better dining options are. Also, a bottle of water, per person, per day is expected when you pay this (high) price for a room. They have a safe in the room, which is good.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel in perfekter Lage - ca. 1 Min zum Strand. Die tolle Strandpromenade führt direkt zur Altstadt (ca. 2 km) und zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Amazingly situated across from the beach, with beautiful views. Spacious and comfortable room, love the coffee and tea and available snacks( snacks for s reasonable price). The bathroom was very spacious and awesome toilet. Very nice breakfast, would love a terrace while having it but it’s a beautiful old mansion that may not allow it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is so accessible. Would definitely go there again.

Although in a great area, the place needs a makeover. My room felt damp, there was mold in the bathroom and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The severely overpriced breakfast was depressing and disappointing. Overall, i would not stay here again

The best location on the beach. The staff are wonderful. I remember using a similar hairdryer in 1975 in Spain, but it still worked! Very quiet at night and this section of the beach is less busy. Great restaurants nearby that open at 7pm.

Bel hôtel à taille humaine, à deux pas de la plage. Belle grande chambre. Personnel serviable, nous a trouvé une place de parking à côté car le parking de l'hôtel (la cour devant plutôt) est minuscule. Seuls bémol: une douche plus que capricieuse et impossibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner: à 9h la toute petite salle était pleine et 15 mn plus tard rien n'avait changé!

We were thrilled with our stay at Hotel La Galeria. We arrived much later than expected and had not eaten for hours. The lovely person at the front desk found a couple of croissants for us to eat which was so appreciated. Our room was beautiful and had an incredible view of the beach. We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel and the proximity to the beaches and the town of San Sebastian. We really hope we'll be able to return one day.
