Wer für einen Dresdenbesuch eine Unterkunft sucht, von der aus man einen großen Teil der Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichen kann und die ein schönes Umfeld mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés bietet, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann sein Auto sicher in der Tiefgarage abstellen; wer die Alternative Bahn wählt, hat es nicht weit vom bzw. zum Bahnhof. Besonders erwähnenswert auch der sehr freundliche Service an der Rezeption. Perfekt !

Check-in was trickier than expected because the front desk of the facility was closed, and we had to go over to the partner Suites establishment, across the plaza. Parking was recommended in a lot across from the police station and proved to be fine and cheaper by half compared to all of the garages (although the machines only took coins). The aparthotel room itself was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and complete with dishwasher, clothes-washer, refrigerator, coffee-maker, and a wardrobe. The location was perfect, right off of Dresden's historic main plaza. Every interesting spot was walkable. Hotel staff was friendly. We would go back.

Zwei Schlafzimmer, geräumiges Wohnzimmer, WC/Bad, WC/Dusche mit Waschmaschine, schöne Küche, ruhiger Balkon mit Tisch und Platz für 4 Personen und ein schöner Blick auf die Altstadt. Auto Abstellplatz in der Tiefgarage. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Alles war perfekt und wärmsten zu empfehlen.

Wir waren nur 1 Nacht da, da wir mit den Fahrrädern auf der Durchreise waren. Besonders gefallen hat uns der sichere Abstellraum für unsere Fahrräder und unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß. Die Waschmaschine war super, um unsere Sachen fix zu waschen. Man ist sofort an der Frauenkirche und hat genügend Restaurants in der Nähe. Perfekt!

Optimal zentral gelegenes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Wir bekamen sogar vor Ort den Tipp, dass das Parkhaus "Conti Semperoper" mit 6€/24h und 10 Minuten Gehstrecke entfernt besonders preisgünstig ist.

Das Hotel liegt inmitten von Dresden und alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Eine Freundin und ich fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben, ganz besonders aufgrund der freundlichen Rezeption am Eingang, die sich wirklich für die Gäste einsetzt und immer mit Ratschlägen und Empfehlungen zur Seite stehen. Die Grösse des Hotelzimmers ist hervorragend, allerdings hatten wir unser unter dem Dach und es war eh eher dunkles Zimmer, da die Fenster so klein sind. Auch das Badezimmer ist echt zu klein verglichen mit dem restlichen Zimmer. Ansonsten war unser Zimmer sauber, gross und hatte eine hübsche kleine Kochnische.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Am Schloss. The location couldn’t be better — right across the street you’ll find a Vapiano, souvenir shops, ice cream places, cafés, and more. Truly unbeatable. The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful, providing clear instructions and great local tips. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and everything was working perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and we slept peacefully every night. The bathroom was spotless and in great condition. Without a doubt, we would stay here again. Highly recommended!

It was a great place at a great location. The place was very clean and cozy to stay with two children. The rooms were spacious with a full kitchen, and the bathroom was very clean. All the staffs were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Udo. It was located in the center of old town, easy and quick walk to all the major sites. We will definitely come back here on our next Dresden trip. 10 out of 10.

What a great stay! The Staff Amazing, (Thanks Udo) for all the information and recommendations. We normally don’t do breakfast let alone a buffet but buffet at their sister property is a do not miss! Make sure you ask for Eggs Benedict wonderful. A washer in the unit was wonderful, let staff know and they will bring you a drying rack. Location is perfect, close to sites and a moderate walk from the HBF. You won’t be disappointed thanks Udo for a great stay.

Roomy apartments with kitchen facilities and a washing machine in every apartment. Great for a long distance travellers. Super friendly and funny guy works on reception. He speaks six languages and can recommend local dining options. Though it is right in the heart of the city the apartments are quiet and warm.

This property is right in the middle of the reconstructed Neumarkt area. We received a free upgrade to a wonderful two bedroom flat with a terrace. Our visit was in mid-May when Dresden's charming Spring Market was taking place.

All the staffs were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Udo. It was located in the center of old town, easy and quick walk to all the major sites. We will definitely come back here on our next Dresden trip. 10 out of 10.

I had a reservation for 2 nights. This property's check-in closed at 7PM. I notified the property manager earlier that I may make it in time but it's possible that I might be few minutes late. My plane arrived 30 minutes late and I arrived at 7:08PM, building was closed. Having just arrived in Germany, my phone was not setup yet to make local phone calls. I went to a nearby hotel to have a roof over my head for the night. When I came next day morning to finally check in, property manager told me I can't because they sold my room to someone else since I did not check in the night before. They were still going to charge me for 2 nights. I said how can you deny me service but charge for both nights, response was that it's their policy. I asked how much time did I have to actually check in, manager said I could check in at any time. So I want to check in now (11am next day), response was you can't because your room was sold to someone else. We went into this endless loop. When my credit card statement arrived, I was in fact charged to both nights. I would not recommend this place.

Värden Udo var fantastisk – en väldigt trevlig och pratsam person som fick oss att känna oss välkomna direkt. My wife and I had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Am Schloss. The location couldn’t be better — right across the street you’ll find a Vapiano, souvenir shops, ice cream places, cafés, and more. Truly unbeatable. The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful, providing clear instructions and great local tips. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and everything was working perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and we slept peacefully every night. The bathroom was spotless and in great condition. Without a doubt, we would stay here again. Highly recommended!

Veldig bra sted, men savna at det ble satt inn toalettpapir på badet uten at vi måtte spørre om det. Gode senger, veldig stille og fint om natten selv om midt i sentrum og en festival pågikk over uker like ved hotellet. Men kl.22-22.30 ble det helt stille utenfor. Alle flotte severdigheter i gangavstand i en oversiktlig by. Og veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme vennlige mennesker i denne byen. Ikke så stresset storbypreg, bedagelig tempo i Dresden som er en åpen fin by.

What a great stay! The Staff Amazing, (Thanks Udo) for all the information and recommendations. We normally don’t do breakfast let alone a buffet but buffet at their sister property is a do not miss! Make sure you ask for Eggs Benedict wonderful. A washer in the unit was wonderful, let staff know and they will bring you a drying rack. Location is perfect, close to sites and a moderate walk from the HBF. You won’t be disappointed thanks Udo for a great stay.
