Chosen for in room jacuzzi- great!!! Only 2 pillows, wifi kept kicking us out, Sunday so most things in area were closed.. old creaky elevator Front desk young man for check in was extremely polite and efficient, and when I had to call with questions he answered right away.

I travelled with family and faced a lot of issues. For the price I paid for that kind of room was too expensive. It is bedbug infested hotel. We were not able to sleep the entire night and in the morning when we complained they refused to admit that they have bedbugs in their hotel. The breakfast was extremely bad. Overall our stay was very unpleasant.

We got charged a 200$ holding fee, which I didnt expect. Already paid an overpriced amount for a room. Which didnt match the pictures, btw. It was very disappointing. We only went there because of how the pictures showed the place. There were ants in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was advertised as a queen, it is not. It mentioned a sofabed, it was a sofachair. The blanket had a stain on it. The thermostat wouldnt go lower (the room temp was 24, we're sensitive to the heat. My kid got very little sleep). There was a clump of hair in the shower. No conditioner to wash my hair properly. Got free breakfast. It had a small variety but wasnt bad. But we couldnt find the bowls for cereal. The mugs and cups were dirty/greasy (you could see the wipe marks and whatnot). It was just...a dirty, low-maintained place rhat charges way more than it should. Very disappointing. The receptionist lady was fine (not rude but not smiley). She was there when we checked in around 11:30pm till we check out, around 9:30am....does your staff get breaks xD

Cet hôtel semble infesté de punaises de lits...Voyez la photo en pièces jointes! Et je viens juste de lire 2 autres avis précédent publié cette année, donc ce n'est pas un cas isolé. Après m'être plains à la réception, celui-ci m'a indiqué que ce n'était pas la première fois que cette situation arrivait et m'a offert une autre chambre. J'ai préféré quitter cette hôtel au plus vite, l'employé m'a indiqué que la chambre n'était pas remboursable mais que la gérante allait me contacter suite à ma plainte.... j'attend toujours l'appel.

Very clean, modern look. Bed was ultra comfortable. Decent continental breakfast. Huge jetted tub in bath with separate shower. Area was safe and quiet, close to Ottawa (5 min drive). We will stay here again.

This hotel is small but very clean, quiet and convenient. I was on the top floor and the wifi wasn't great by any means and the shower pressure could have been stronger but these things are quite minor and certainly not a deal breaker. The free breakfast is quite good. I will certainly book here again.

Staff was very pleasant and the hotel is clean throughout. It’s a small, older property and it’s showing it’s age. Room was very small (essentially just big enough for the bed and a chair) with old fixtures throughout, including in the bathroom. We weren’t expecting much, and overall the age of things didn’t bother me as everything was clean and generally well maintained. My biggest issue was the bed - the mattress was obviously well past it’s prime as it had a noticeable sag in the middle, so throughout the night my partner and I kept sinking into the middle of the bed. This resulted in a restless night of sleep, and our only reason for staying at this hotel was to get some rest. For everything that was okay, this one major drawback is the reason I won’t stay here again.

I was disappointed in the room. We booked a jacuzzi suite which it was but the jets barely worked. The bathroom had a tiny shower. The elevator was very sketchy so we took the stairs most of time time and we were on the fourth floor.

A nice little hotel which I would go back to. It’s an older hotel for sure, but it has a quick elevator and the rooms are a decent size and are clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage, as well as the usual continental fare. The bed and pillows were comfy. A couple of things to note, the bathroom amenities do not include hair conditioner, which is the first time I have seen that. My room had the jetted tub but the shower was tiny. Excellent water pressure though! I would go back!

We had an issue with our room, the person at the front desk tried to fix, when they couldn’t they changed our room… so helpful and kind. Lot’s of dinning options within walking distance, and the street was very quiet. Also located in an area that is easy to get into and out of Gatineau.

Generally we were happy with our stay, however - The receptionist when registering was reluctant to give help re bus routes and times and referred us to on line. A replacement receptionist was far more helpful even printing information for us. The room door lock was faulty and difficult to open. 200 Can $ deposit for the room was not just held but taken from our UK bank account. This resulted in currency conversion rate and fees - resulting in cost to us. Other hotels held a deposit in pending and then cancelled it. NOT IMPRESSED.

The hotel is not The Ritz, but it is pleasant, clean and comfortable. And, given the price, it is a very good value. We would stay here again. As well, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

When we checked in the man at the desk was very rude to us. He initially asked if I had a reservation and when I told him that I did he made me wait for over 5 mins to clean the entire front desk. At some point I asked him if we should just come back later. He looked up and said to wait then proceeded to clean the plexiglass, telephone and other areas before letting me check in. Honestly it was laughable. Otherwise the hotel was average.

Proche du centre-ville de Gatineau et de celui d’Ottawa. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour un séjour ou essentiellement la chambre est pour se reposer après une journée à visiter. Petit déjeuner inclus. Épicerie (Maxi) et Pharmacie à proximité.

Il y avait une odeur de cigarette au 4eme étage , et surtout dans nos chambres. Le tapis est désuet, mais le reste semblait propre. Il y avait du choix pour le déjeuner et les responsables du déjeuner étaient gentils. Quartier très pauvre, on ne serait pas sorti le soir . Je ne retournerai malheureusement pas à cet hôtel.

Super located. Drive to Ottawa only 10-15min (parking at City Hall - 2CAD per day at weekends). Really nice restaurants nearby. Safe neighbourhood. Rooms were nice and calm. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was free and convenient.

Room is clean and spacious and has all things needed. Has a round table and many chairs so it is easy to buy take out and eat in the room. Sound proofing in (our) room was surprisingly good. I can hear a room playing loud party music when walking on the hallway but can’t hear a thing in our room. Breakfast was very good! Lots of varieties. There are hot options like sausage, egg, and potatoes. And also fruits! Price was very reasonable. Well worth the money paid!

A very quaint and lovely hotel. The vending machine was broken and the "sofa" in our room was so small my husband couldn't use it. The sofa is really for a child. We also had to ask for bed sheets and a blanket that wasn't provided in the room. The room was otherwise lovely and we enjoyed using the jacuzzi. Great parking, friendly check-in and customer service. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices (hot and cold).

i had chosen the room for the jet tub and it was even shown on the picture in my confirmation email. When i checked in it was a different room and no jet tub, very disappointed. Breakfast was not very elaborate and very minimal choices, no yogurt or fruits available. If I was to come again, I would request to have the room I reserved and not an alternative.

Everything was great exceot for 2 things. First the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart, everytime i would turn over it was so loud. Second i went for breakfast in the morning and was told i wasnt allowed to bring it back to my room. To me this was super weird.
