For a motel, we would rate this property 5 out of 5. While it might not look like it from the outside, at first glance, the property is very well maintained, and the rooms have been recently updated with modern furnishing, with fresh pain, flooring and carpet. The mattress was high-end and very comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful, and do whatever they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There is a bit of street noise during the day, but it is quiet at night. This motel is within walking distance to some terrific restaurants, as well as the beach/ocean, and only a 5 minute drive into downtown Qualicum Beach. The back of this property also has a lovely elevated garden area with a nice seating area that has views of the ocean and mountains. We also enjoyed the higher-quality hand soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. Wonderful stay. We will be back.

Very polite staff. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Only negative was the parking lot. It was very small and spots were super tight to get in and out of. But, given the price, it was acceptable. Would recommend to a friend

The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower was great, and the beds very comfortable. We had a small kitchen area which was extremely well equipped. Parking is easy, and near rooms. There is a pleasant outdoor area to sit at. The superb beach is only across the road, which is safe and easy to walk across.

Hotel is clean. Beds aren’t the comfiest but ok for one night. Location is awesome. Small parking lot so if you have a larger vehicle, it might be tricky getting in/out. Be aware that their cancellation policy is 72 hours compared to the usual 24 hours. It’s a full nights stay if you cancel within 72 hours.

My room was right at the end of the building. Quiet, private, and I could park right outside my door. Super convenient! The young man at the front desk was delightful. Very friendly and helpful.

Modern updated rooms; despite the older look from the outside. The back garden area has comfortable seating with views of the ocean - nice surprise. Lovely staff. Very clean and well kept property. Lots of parking for guests.

This is a very nice motel and updated. The room was very clean and had all that we needed like towels, toiletries, microwave and ample space. It looks like the rooms have been recently renovated which is really nice. There was also air conditioning in the room which was a nice plus. It's a pretty quiet area and its across the street from the beach where you can walk. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay. I Would highly recommend.

It was an older style motel that was newly renovated and was in great repair. The rooms were immatulately clean, the decor was fresh. It was located right across from the beach. They had all the amentiies desired to make it a great place to stay. Loved it!!!

Ocean Crest Motel is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. The attention to small details is wonderful. You will find yourself noticing these details throughout your stay. The girl at check-in was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend.

I think this is one of the best little motels we’ve ever stayed at. The managers are very nice people and have thought of all the details. It is a few steps from the ocean and a short drive to downtown for dining and exploring. The room was clean and well appointed. I would recommend it to my friends and family in a heartbeat!

Furniture is a little dated, but the room has been spruced up. Very clean & quiet, with a fridge and coffee maker in the room. Staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel is located across the street from the beach; with beach access about a block away. There is also a very nice beach park a short distance away, and a great German restaurant next door.

The exterior of the hotel looks old but we were very pleased with our room. It was the double queen bedroom. Newly renovated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. A short walk into town and very close to a very good restaurant , The Shelter. Would absolutely stay here again.

The motel is clean and staff and management are friendly. Good location, close to beach and town. Beds are small and a bit hard. We have stayed several times in the past and has been several years since last time. For the price it is lacking and will likely look for different accomadations next time. It is a good second choice but pricy for what is offered.

Excellent value, really comfy beds, very clean facilities and really well kept-up inside and out. Creamer for the coffee is only available in the office and when we went to get some there was nobody there. Also, check-in was delayed as staff prioritized a phone-call over our arrival.
