Nicely decorated hotel with large lobby, including a small bar service, The room spacious . The breakfast that was included with our hotel was very good, more than expected to choose from and nicely decorated space. We had a terrace included with our room that was a bonus All staff so nice and professional and very helpful. a short walk to Vatican and just a walk outside hotel on same street many restaurants Only down side is did not like the shower which was actually a very high tub (i am short) with only part glass doors that did not go all the way and therefore easily to have water on the floor while showering and the faucets extend out too far within the shower. However, I would definitely recommend.

The room was very nice, staff were very friendly, it is quire expensive , we booked a superior room which only had a coffee machine. I am a tea drinker and could not get a tea in the afternoon as "kitchen was closed". recommend having a kettle in the room for those who do not drink it or have it available during the day.

Excellent breakfast. Entrance is on a pedestrian only route so you will have carry your luggage about 100 feet from the nearest vehicle access. This did not bother me, but might be an issue for some.

Great location, walking distance from St Peter’s, car free street with numerous cafe/restaurant dining options only steps away and a lively atmosphere, cozy bar in the lobby, very nice buffet breakfast. And an attentive, friendly staff … especially Giula at the front desk. Old building but thoroughly modernized though our room was very very tiny especially for a 4 star hotel

We booked this hotel based on positive reviews of hotels in the area of the Vatican. It did not disappoint. We booked two nights: one just before our cruise and one just after the cruise. The first night we were given a room with a king size bed; it was cozy, clean and convenient. The elevator really helps, though if you require accessibility you should mention this in advance as there are two extra steps to get to half of the rooms. Outside the door, from dawn to late night, there are many restaurants offering alfresco dining. So many delicious options between the hotel and the Vatican less than half a mile away. One of the hotel employees, Chiara, spoke English like an American, and was tremendously helpful re: our arrangements for a private car to transport us between the airport and the hotel, and between the hotel and the port. When we couldn't find our driver upon airport arrival she acted as go-between and saved the day. Though we also needed help to connect with our driver upon arrival at the port (another hotel employee helped) we were definitely happy the hotel offered this service and would use their service again. The second night Chiara upgraded us to the penthouse with a balcony! This room was fantastic, with a fainting couch in the bedroom area, a separate room with a couch between the bedroom and the bathroom, and a massive bathroom with a shower and a jetted tub. Balcony views included St. Peter's dome. Book this hotel!

This is a good base, nice hotel with helpful staff. My only gripe was that the coffee machine in the room wasn't working when we arrived and it took two days for someone to come and fix it. Luckily Rome is awash with good coffee but sometime you just want one in your room!

The Hotels.com details for this hotel has some errors. Firstly, there is not a restaurant at the hotel. The breakfast is great but there are so many good restaurants on the same street that the hotel does not need its own. Secondly, we had a room safe and a mini-bar in the room. May not be true of all rooms but was a great bonus! The hotels.com info did not show these details. We would definitely stay here again but would appreciate the sink in the room being sorted out - it takes ages for the water to drain away. Also, the mini-bar was not re-stocked as a matter of course, only when requested. Staff were great and very helpful. Hotel is very well located for visiting Vatican City etc.

The hotelwas very good and clean. I chose this one for the fact was close to Vatican and St. Peter 's Basilica. For us was a few minituse to walk. There were several restaurants around to choose. Excelet service and location. Will choose again if travel back to Rome.

The thermostat in the room we stayed in did not work, I couldn't adjust the temperature, they gave us a fan but it was still hot in the room....i complained on the first day to see if they can fix it, but they gave us a fan instead...

Great location close to the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. We walked from the hotel to the musuem and it was 10-15 minute walk. We also had dinner across the street at Passpartout Restaurant. There are many places to eat on the same street as the hotel. The room was large and very nice bathroom.

The location was fantastic and great over the holiday. So close to everything. We walked everywhere without any issues. The room is fairly small. But the amenities are nice. I wish the towel heater worked.

We enjoyed the location of this hotel as its very close to the Vatican. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options and everything was delicious. The front desk staff was not very welcoming but they did store our luggage before we checked in. When calling to inquire how to get back from the Coliseum after walking many miles in the heat, I was yelled at by a female front desk employee. She was of little help and very frustrating to deal with. It's difficult to flag down a cab in Rome so that's why I called. The rooms were nice but small and overall I gave this hotel a 4 of 5 just based on the front desk staff.

Property is clean, dining and shopping are just outside the hotel.Marika and the other two gentlemen in the front desk were all very helpful, housekeepers were all very nice except for the other front desk lady who works in the early evening that was very rude. I aproached and politely asked her a question,she was very rude, even banging the side door as she closed it. I politely asked her name and her answer was "am I in trouble"? I wrote her name in a piece of paper but lost it, i think her name has the letter M and V. This is a 4 star hotel. Service is a little bit lacking for what you pay for in my opinion. I have stayed in 3 to 5 star hotels during my travels, and my expectations are based on how much I paid. you are better off staying somewher else.

Hotel location was great! Unfortunately, staff members are the front desk were not very kind…in fact they appeared dismissive at times. Got lost looking for the elevator and no one guided us nor assisted us with luggage even though we had to climb some steps just to get to the elevator. Breakfast was ok Lots of dirty dishes on the tables and it took a long time for staff members to pick them up Housekeeping staff were great. They cleaned the room thoroughly I would not return to this hotel as they are much better options for the money paid

Perfectly located close to the Vatican and accessible to other parts of the city. Quiet street closed to traffic with many excellent dining options within 100 yards or less. Decent in hotel breakfast with many options and entertaining bar man, Eddie. We were happy to upgrade to the slightly larger room with large terrace. The multilingual staff answered all our questions and were attentive and informative. Highly recommended!

The best staff in Rome! From the front desk team to Francesca the bartender, to the breakfast staff, everyone was so very helpful. I would stay here again. Terrific breakfast each morning, great location (Only 400m to St. Peter's square. Great value for the money. Not to mention some great restaurants on the same street.

Block and a half from the Vatican and walking distance to most ancient attractions. Staff is top notch, helpful and professional in every way. Incredible!!! Very polite and accommodating staff. Clean, renovated, Easy dinning options right outside the front door. Close to all attractions!! Vatican super close!!! Amazing experience!!! The location was fantastic and great over the holiday. So close to everything. We walked everywhere without any issues. The room is fairly small. But the amenities are nice. I wish the towel heater worked.

Great location, walking distance from St Peter’s, car free street with numerous cafe/restaurant dining options only steps away and a lively atmosphere, cozy bar in the lobby, very nice buffet breakfast. And an attentive, friendly staff … especially Giula at the front desk. Old building but thoroughly modernized though our room was very very tiny especially for a 4 star hotel

The location near St. Peter's Basilica was excellent as you could walk there within 3-4 minutes. (Only 2 blocks away) Walking to St. Angelo and the river for a nice walk only took about 10-15 minutes. The hotel is on a pedestrian avenue so you could walk out the front door and have numerous restaurant and gelato choices without the distraction of cars and scooters. There was some street noise ( voices and some music) in the rooms (second story) but that pretty much stopped around 10 pm when the businesses closed up. The room, bathroom and facilities were very clean and up to date.

The location is perfect! It’s on a pedestrian street just a block away from St Peter’s Square. It looks very charming and calm because the road it’s on is restaurants and shops but its so close to the major sites. The staff here are wonderful and so helpful, I would definitely stay Here again.

Excellent breakfast. Entrance is on a pedestrian only route so you will have carry your luggage about 100 feet from the nearest vehicle access. This did not bother me, but might be an issue for some.

The lady that worked the front desk made the stay not enjoyable. The cleaning staff failed to refill toilet paper, Kleenex and shower gel. We booked 2 rooms for 6 people and both rooms were not restocked after 4 days (paid over $4,000). When we asked at the front desk she implied that we had too many people in our room and had used up the supplies. I assured her we had 3 people in each room and had been there for 4 days. She also yelled at us when the door at reception failed to close behind us. She talked about us to other staff and mocked us to other guests.

Hotel staff were kind helpful and responsive. Enjoyed the daily breakfasts. Rooms were cool, clean with nice linen. The bathroom needed more hooks for towels and the hand towels were thin compared bath towels.
