Sun Hall Beach Hotel Apartments

The property was very affordable and so much space but they dont have swimming pool and the bus is cros the road amaizing view to the beach

We have been to these apartments 5 times. This time we had 2 rooms as our young adult children shared a different room. They made sure we were next door which was great as that meant they upgraded one room. We love it here for the location, balcony views, good little kitchen and good air con and clean. So why 4 stars - this is because there was a 3-day delay fixing one aircon unit and a bathroom door due to issues getting hold of their maintenance person which was not great. But otherwise all good and we would come again. I do think some of the rooms will soon need work on them and one oddity was a newish kitchen had only one plug socket for 4 appliances! There is a car park next door at 8 euros a day or a feee one 5 mins walk away.

We unknowingly chose the noisiest time to stay right down on the sea front - kataclysmos. That being said the accommodation was pretty good, reasonably clean and had everything we needed. The sraff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking choices nearby but most things were in godd walking distance. There was a good fridge, kettle, toaster and mkni oven hotplate thing. There's a bus to the airport just across the street

Stayed in a one bed apartment with sea view for 5 nights. The view is spectacular and the balcony is huge! Being able to sit out overlooking the marina and Finikoudes beach with breakfast was magnificent. The apartments are spacious but basic and in need of restoration/updating, though for our stay it was perfectly fine and everything we needed. A/C units provided in both the living area and bedroom which worked great when required. The noise from outside was bothersome throughout with works starting early on an adjacent restaurant (drilling, hammering etc from 7am) accompanied by the horns of cars on the main road seemingly beeping at every minor inconvenience at any hour. Having travelled during an off-peak month, I anticipated there may be improvement works ongoing, but I would imagine the noise would be an issue in busier months as the apartment seemingly had no protection from the noise at all and it felt like we were completing the works or sat in the cars ourselves and not 3 floors up. There is no pool and they make it pretty clear you are not permitted to use the sister Sun Hall Hotel next door. Would definitely recommend for a short stay due to its proximity to the beach, local restaurants and promenade. We had a bargain trip in March and would return again!

Loved the location the main lady in charge was very nice. There were some communication issues the first evening, but were resolved and exceeded the expectations. However I did have to ask several times (needed bedding for my daughter which I had messaged and confirmed with hotel the day prior to no avail finally after the third time and the urgency of my daughter slipping on the shower upon entry the lady downstairs in charge came to check on her and explain the correct foot towel wasn’t in the shower and that we didn’t have one she brought several) my 5 year old daughter had a huge goose egg on the back of her head which terrified us, I came very close to going to the urgent care but watched her closely and she was fine the next day. The room is very very stuffy and hot without the key left in the room in slot to keep the electricity on I cannot imagine how anyone can sleep that way as I takes time to cool it down you will not have if you go out for any length of time. The location is perfect and I would go back with the things in mind I learned. Our beds were cleaned as well as rooms daily. The property and the rooms were very clean. The shower is half open with water and it spreads throughout the bathroom that is a huge safety issue and flaw. The parking is nonexistent but you can pay next door. I would definitely would consider coming back as I said however I would have safety easier ahead of time as I did after the accident.

Great position, very nice staff, 24 hours, the clean lady as well, old kitchen, warderobe and some other equipment, but beds in bedrooms are clean and comgortable, bathroom clean too. We enjoy our stay here.

La struttura si trova in una posizione perfetta sia per prendere i bus (proprio di fronte), che per la vista mare che per visitare a piedi Larnaca. Reception h24, il nostro appartamento - seppur non nuovo e con qualche lavoretto di ammodernamento ento da fare - era silenzioso, letti molto comodi e cucina piccola ma attrezzata. Per i prezzi di altre strutture a larnaca, consiglio di soggiornare presso questa struttura.

Amazing location in the centre of Larnaca and had a car park opposite which was great as we had hired a car. Apartment was huge and the staff were really friendly. The condition was a bit rough in places and some of the furniture was a bit dusty but overall, was great value and would return

Καθημερινή υπηρεσία για καθάρισμα του διαμερίσματος. 24ωρη υπηρεσία υποδοχής και ευχάριστη εξυπηρέτηση για ότι χρειαστηκαμε στην περιοχή. Ζεστό νερό και κλιματιστικό όλες τις ώρες. Αίσθηση ασφάλειας τόσο στο διαμέρισμα, όσο και στην περιοχή. Παρα πολύ καλό. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Rymlig lägenhet. Lugnt och tyst på nätterna. Sköna sängar. Fin utsikt mot havet. Bra luftkonditionering. Bra städning. Plus för att man kan köpa dricksvatten i receptionen. Fint bemötande av personal.

Unfortunately one of the worst places I have stayed. Although its location is excellent (1 minute from the sea, close to restaurants, clubs, etc.), the hotel looks like is falling apart. The furniture in the rooms is old and worn while the sofas are dirty and blackened. Τhe cleanliness is their biggest problem since it is not done with care but they just change the sheets. The sink and toilet in my room were not cleaned for 3 days and the balcony probably for days. Τhe stove is rusty and the tables in the kitchen full of marks from dishes. the floor of the balcony is blackened. Τhe room they gave me was on the first floor and when you opened the door it filled with smoke and smells from the restaurants right below and the noise was incredibly annoying. I asked to be taken to a higher floor but they could not. The elevator is particularly slow while the second one was not working. The people at the reception were nice but they couldn't make me have a good time. The place needs a radical renovation of furniture, a good organization of cleanliness and an improvement of the image inside and out. iam sure i will never stay again in this hotel!!! I would give to it a very low rating

Good location, old property , not so clean

We go to Larnaca every year and would not change Sun hall apartments to any other hotel! Friendly reception always happy to help with recommendations for activities and any questions overall! Great location, basically beach front, amazing view from most rooms and overall very clean.

Unfortunately for us Pizza Hut, who occupy the area below the hotel, was being renovated. This meant 6am wake ups and banging/drilling throughout the day. We were unable to enjoy breakfast on our balcony (having been to the shops on arrival and stocked up) and only had one decent nights sleep. Not helping was the noise that came through the windows despite the rooms having double glazing. The rooms are not cleaned as per a regular hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned, just 'blue' put down the toilet and the floors were dirty. The bathroom and shower lacked shelving and the hotel needs updating in general. Our kitchen area was not in good condition and the cupboards smelt musty. Overall, if you don't mind noise and the room not being cleaned very well then this hotel could be for you. The only good thing is it's location to the beach and restaurants.

The reality is different and not as good as the pictures. Very old and tired. Furniture worn out It was really dirty The kitchen and the bathroom need a lot of cleaning and renovation. Stains on the couches , bed smell of mold at the room

The sofas had BED BUGS, my son got bitten about 15 times. These spots were soooo iticy. One night he was crying almost all night. This hotel is almost a bit outdated but good for value.

The apartment has a perfect location, but it definitely needs renovation

Considering its location and it's direct sea view if you you book a sea view room, these apartments are excellent value for money. The apartments are spotless and the staff very friendly , however the only thing that lets them down is that they could all do with an upgrade. They look tired, the furniture old and depressing to stay too long in. Attention to detail was very poor, the plumbing of the sink was coming away from the wall, the clothes rail to hang your wet clothes on the balcony was rusty. We found clothes left in the drawers from previous occupants which obviously shows a lack of thoroughness. Shame really as they could be lovely apartments to stay in.

Utsikten til stranden var fantastisk. Sentral beliggenhet rett ved bussholdeplassen. Butikker og restauranter rett på utsida. Rommet var veldig stort. Enkelt innredet og enkel standard. Hyggelige ansatte. Men tre dager uten varmt vann trekker ned. Ansatte beklaget og forklarte at det skyltes at de hadde gått tom for gass.

Excelent seaview, stunning the rising sun

mega comfy beds, cold aircon, clean roomy bathroom, kitchen lacked space and utensils and the restraunts near by are really noisy from Thursday-sat with live music playing outside until 3am! the staff are freindly and the maids work really hard.

The units are outdated . The whole complex needs an update. There is an open air night club operating until the early hours of the weekend and the sound is very high. Shower was dripping water instead of spraying. Nothing to store or place onto in the bathroom.

There was undisclosed extensive building work going on directly under the building which meant banging and drilling sarted at 6.45am EVERY single morning and lasted the best part of the day. I was woken every morning and i was unable to call home from my room because I couldnt hear. I was unable to watch TV in my room, because I couldnt hear. On top of that the room and furniture is very tired and not like pictures posted, i.e. sofa posted but just a chair in room. Chips and dents everywhere in flooring and walls and the bathroom trimings were green or rusty. Bath looked dirty but it wasnt , just was in terrible condition. The staff are wonderful. 5 star staff. I communicated regarding not being told abot building work. I viisted for rest post surgery and was unable to rest at all. I would have stayed elsewhere if i was told. My initial email was replied to, stating to message again on Modnay as the manager isnt around. I emailed a further 5 times and they were all ignored.

Unfortunately, I cannot give this place more than two stars and that's because of the horrendous noise that came from underneath our flat. Even though we did flag to the receptionists the fact that we are being woken up by the contractors at 6AM, they stated that they couldn't do anything and said : " Welcome to Cyprus!! Apparently, in Cyprus there is no noise law for silly o'clock! When asked if we could change the room or anything, they just apologise and did nothing!! We understood their position that they weren't to be blamed for the contractors, however we paid for the whole duration of our stay and we went there to relax not to tormented by the noise. Having shops/ restaurants that are part of the same building, they should take some responsibility!! I would've given this place a higer score but for being indifferent to our requests to be moved or even to do something about it, I cannot give more than two stars. The only good thing about this place is the location. As soon as you come out from the building, you cross the street and there you are, on the beach. The apartment itself is very outdated and could do with at least new furniture but otherwise I would say that everything was clean, which made a difference. Be aware, if you stay at least on the 1st floor, you will hear noise from outside and also from the corridors!! There are shops and restaurants just outside and part of the same building! The noise wont stop until approximately 2AM

Helpful, friendly staff, nice hotel, excellent location

Convenient beach and restaurant access. Pleasant front desk staff. But... No double bed. Got 2 singles together with different level mattresses. Was billed twice for stay but we rectified that quickly. One 3cm soap was never replaced. Had to find our own. After cleaning, maid left balcony doors open which had access from corridor. Loud music from nearby clubs until midnight approx.. Trolly in corridor 5am (only one morning). Balcony view of garbage area and parking garage. Missing tv remote. I reported it it twice andwas told it would be looked at but after 6 days we got nothing.

Stayed for one night as holiday villa unavailable for that night. Marilou was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel for our party of six. Location is perfect. We’d have no hesitation in staying here again.

EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION AND UNREASONABLE. Within 6 hours of booking we had to cance/reshedule due to a family emergency. The hotel would not allow me to cancel or reschedule. It’s unfortunate that a company like this puts money ahead of a person's misfortune!

A friend and I booked a 10 night stay, each in our own room. Over the course of our stay, there were 7 big bugs in my room and 2 big bugs in my friend’s room. The property is not in good condition and is in need of repair, and also updating. We have our dirty clothes to the lobby personnel to be sent for laundering. We were told we’d get them back within 3 days but 3 days later, it was discovered that our clothes had not be sent out. No one took responsibility for this error and had an attitude about it. Also, once the clothes were brought back to us, they included someone else’s pants. The hotel owner is the one that has the laundry service. They limit the towels they give you. My friend didn’t receive a fresh towel (fresh towels given every 2 days) and they told her they did give her a new towel and made a big deal about it, even though giving a customer a fresh towel on request should not be an issue. The service and attitude by Maria, a supervisor, in particular was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay there again.

Super Lage, Meer, Restaurants, Stadtkern, Bushaltestelle, alles vor der Haustür. Sehr empfehlenswert. Kommen wieder.

Excellent location at quiet end. Beach right across the road. Basic but clean.

Great location

The hotel is by no means fancy, but you cannot beat the location and the ease of having a kitchen. The staff was efficient and helpful and the location cannot be beat. You walk out the door to the ocean front of you and the Promenade of restaurants to the right and left. It was the perfect place to stay to be able to walk all around Larnaca and see the sites and enjoy dining.

It’s nice and what’s nice is that it is a walkable distance from the finikoodis bus station where we can catch the intercity bus or any bus to the mall or what not

Der Strand ist direkt erreichbar. man muss nur eine Straße überqueren. Ansonsten sind sehr viele Restaurants, Bars und Shops in der Nähe und fußläufig erreichbar. Abends konnte es etwas lauter werden, gerade am Wochenende. Ansonsten stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

A szálloda szuper helyen van, fantasztikus kilátással. A busz megáll az utcában, szinte a ház előtt. A szobánk hatalmas volt, így viszont szinte már kevés volt benne a bútor. Ami volt, az is egy kissé lepukkant és idejét múlt, de a funkcióját végülis ellátta. Tévé helyett csak egy monitor volt. A teraszon volt két valaha fehér műanyag szék, amiből az egyik törött volt, az azért már kritikán aluli. Reggelit lehetett kérni (fix adag, nem svédasztal), de azt nem a hotelben adták, hanem át kellett volna menni egy közeli étterembe. Mi ezt nem kértük, ezért az árért már bárhol tudtunk reggelizni. Azoknak ajánlom, akiknek elsősorban az elhelyezkedés a fontos, a többi dolgon pedig át tudnak lendülni.

This was a great place to stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was huge. I had a very large room/balcony also. It was right across the street from the beach, so I could go back and forth throughout the day, There was lots of coffee and restaurants nearby, as well as a small grocery to buy bananas and yogurt for breakfast. I got along great with many in the reception as well. I also had an amazing massage/body scrub and a mani/pedi with Natalia! I will stay here next time for sure.
