Best Western Williams Lake

Safe parking for your ride. Great breakfast. Good bed. Nice hotel overall.

Did not like that the elevator was not working and we needed to climb the stairs which is challenging with replacement knees on a spiral staircase carrying luggage. Lastly we choose this hotel because it had a pool which can be nice to workout those aches and pains in the knees, sadly the pool was out of commission, had I known this we would have stayed elsewhere.

We had a great stay! The pool was very cold though and the hot tub wasn’t working which was sad but overall great stay.

Comfortable bed, free guest laundry, good food next door at the Laughing Loon.

The elevator in the hotel was not working. The staff at the hotel called prior to us arriving to let us know ahead of time so that we were aware of the issue in advance. Appreciated their thoughtfulness.

Was not told the pool and hot tub was having issues till we went down there ..hot tub was luke warm the pool was cold ... no towels.

Paid to stay there for the pool and hot tub You couldn’t see the water past the 8” of dirty foam on the top of the water. Plus the dirty diaper that was right there was disgusting

Unfortunately the pool closed due to mechanical issue. But this is out 3rd stay at this hotel and its really nice and well run.

Bed was comfortable. Other than that the stay was not enjoyable. Found the room to be incredibly filthy hair everywhere! Even the mirror had toothpaste on it. Drink rings on bedside table, floors filthy, sheets full of lots of different types of hair, floor had hair in every corner. Was this room even cleaned?

Room was clean. Staff was great. Parking was easy. The rooms bathroom fan did not work - but I am sure it can be fixed.

Clean hotel room and premises. Continental breakfast was very good. No hassle stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Well done and thank you!

The reason I chose Best Western was because it is usually the cleanest hotel anywhere, especially in Williams Lake.

Property is good. Breakfast is good. Room cleaning is very poor. Very sloppy cleaning. Don't change sheets and not well cleaned and not every day. Rooms are nice. Overall - a good hotel.

Was ok. Seems like there could be a deep clean of rooms.

Unfortunately pool wasn’t working… bathroom had some black mold as well.

It is a nice hotel and all of the staff we talked to were very kind. However, the heater in our room was making a terrible sound. Thankfully we were able to be moved to another room, but that was at 12:30AM. Grateful to have been moved but that was a huge inconvenience for us.

The rooms are well maintained and it is quiet

We have enjoyed staying at this hotel before, but this time we were given a room above some kind of outdoor air duct. It was super noisy and caused intense vibrations in our room while we were trying to sleep. We would stay here again, but request a different room.

This is a decent best western hotel. Food was good in the morning. A couple food options nearby - shout out to the casino nearby. Large rooms but the felt a little tired - worn furniture and dirty tile in the bathroom. Not a lot of light in this property - used least wattage possible which made things feel dim. Pool felt like a missed opportunity. Good space with no design. Honestly this could be a gem. Would still recommend staying. Solid hotel for the night.

The most uncomfortable beds and pillows I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing.

Extractor fan in bathroom did not function. Huge metal plate/barrier in front of window.

Everything was good, but the beds were too high! Short people stay there too. Needed to use the ottoman to get on the bed as I’m barely 4’11

Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly. Check out was easy and staff again was friendly.

The room was adequate; my view was a bank/hill. The bed was comfortable. The shower had a high pitched screech the entire time it ran, which was unpleasant. The breakfast was okay but compared to other complimentary hot breakfasts of similar nature, this underwhelmed. The worst part about this hotel was the man who was there during check-out. I went to use the pool after breakfast prior to checking out and saw there was a sign that it was not in service because it was being cleaned. I asked front desk if i could use it since no one was in there cleaning it, but he said they had added chemicals and it wasn't ready. I suggested this be done when closing the pool so that it was useable for folks before they checked out, to which he replied very rudely that they follow Interior Health standards (touchy subject?). I asked if I could use the hot tub in the meantime and he said it was fine to use. Unfortunately it was less than luke-warm; colder than a kiddie pool at the rec center. I gave up and left and mentioned this to front desk, and he replied that "it is set to Interior Health standards" and was not interested in checking it or resolving anything (this guy should really go work for IH.. super into their "regulations"). The whole pool/hot tub area could use a reno, it looked a bit dingy and water looked yellow (probably the IH standard).

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our early check in request after drove through the night.

Hotel was clean and easy access from highway. Limited walking access to shopping and dining.

Great location, good price, free and tasty breakfast. Nice staff. Good rooms - comfortable and clean. Fridge has a freezer which is nice!

The property is located right by the highway so it’s very convenient. It’s quiet and clean. The only problem that we found was that the pillows are way too hard for our liking.

Just blocks out of Williams lake made us feel safer

I appreciate how open the property is, and its proximity to restaurants and gas stations.

Clean, quiet, and safe property on edge of town. Friendly, courteous, knowable and efficient staff at property. Good breakfast offerings. It would great if the property had a dry sauna, but probably a costly service to maintain.
