Hotel Yudanaka

Outdated, rundown, stained

Staff were nice but the hotel needs updates. The breakfast offered was underwhelming. Sleeping area was uncomfortable.

Booked a room for four ppl with specifically four futons listed in booking. Checked in at 5pm and walked into room find only one futon in the room. Went back to reception to say there was only one bed and they said they wouldn’t prepare any more. Paid a higher price for this hotel than other stays and have had 100% better experiences in cheaper places. Finally convinced them to give me sheets so I can set up futons myself and they gave only one sheet and one pillow case !!! Had a terrible two nights sleep at this place. Also they say breakfast provided, it’s just two pieces of a small bread and a waffle piece wrapped in a plastic wrapping.

Authentic onsen experience.

It had an Onsen on sight which was nice. It’s a nice place and close to station. The beds are basically mattresses (futons) on the floor. This means very firm so for those who need more padding like my old body it can be a stiff night of sleep. Staff very friendly and for the money for 5 people it was great
