Element by Marriott Austin at The Domain

Everything about this hotel was amazing from the room to the pool to the bar and staff!

The rooms were clean, parking was close and cheap, and the breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel was in a great location, very clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable beds. There was a bar in the lobby that was open until 10, and the free breakfast was wonderful. There were so many options, including a station where the chef made eggs to order. They assigned us the wrong room at check-in, but we were able to get the issue fixed with no problems.

Nice brand new hotel. Modern styling. A Marriott brand so the things you expect from a Marriott are on point. Nice to have a fresh made option at breakfast. Not many gluten free choices but there is a Greek yogurt station as well as the usual pastries for breakfast. Little kitchen in the room is more on par with a more extended stay place which is nice. Pool is shaded by the parking garage and the rooms that wrap around. Not super close to the actual shopping area of the domain but still a nice area. Quiet. Bed was comfy but slightly soft for my preference. We’d definitely stay at an element again in the future

I really enjoyed this locale. I was torn between this one and downtown Element. I chose this one because it has a pool and the parking fee was much less. Im so glad I went with this location because it was still convenient to downtown and Zilker Park, about 20 minutes drive and I didn’t have to pay the outrageous $65 per night parking fee. They also accommodated my request for extra towels ahead of arrival. The only few things, which were minor and not really too much of an issue was that there was not an extra set of blankets and sheets for the pull out sofa bed. In my experience these are usually kept in the closet at top in a plastic zipper bag, but it wasn't an issue to get them from the front. Just had to go all the way down and get them after a long trip in and they were also a little heavy for me since I've had a neck and back injury. The other minor issue was that upon arrival, I waited like 15 minutes for someone to come help me and check in. There was a gentleman working the bar and cleaning up since it was past 10pm who never addressed me even though I was standing there for some time. I had to ask him if anyone was working the font desk before he did anything about it. Yet, he was able to have a full chat with a passerby about her dress. So that was a little annoying and I as really tired and my family was waiting in the car. Otherwise, It was a really nice stay. The pool is salt water so that was nice and the breakfast & workout room 👍👍

Lovely experience after another hotel “lost” my Expedia reservation. I’m so lucky I found this property instead. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was nice. Staff and property were excellent.

Super clean, great open spaces to sit and work. Nice workout room. Great breakfast, infused water, complimentary coffee all day and hot teas at night. Simple touches yet meaningful to customers. I will stay there again and again.

Got into our room and the coffee maker had been left with the previous tenants coffe in it. So it made us wonder about how well the room had been cleaned. The breakfast staff was very friendly very helpful. I returned to the hotel one night during our stay. And grabbed a gingerale from the cooler. And was told 8.50. I paid for it and thought that was high, but hotel pricing. Went back the next morning and asked how much a soda was, and the girl said 2.75. So please watch your purchases and room charges. All in all a nice place. Pleasant and clean. Nice location.

The rooms were super clean. The property offers and staff is amazing. I did not like the garage and the way you access the hotel from the garage.

Great hotel, a short walk to the soccer stadium, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the fitness room was perfect for a quick morning workout.

We love The Domain area, and it is the second time we stay at The Element. The first time was in summer 2022. At the time the room and the lobby were spotless. However, the walls of the room we got this time have some black stains on several places and need repainting, and the room was not as clean as before. We hope the hotel management do proper maintenance to keep rooms and facilities in good condition.

Loved the staff. The one downside was the smell from the bathroom. All in all, seemed clean and well organized.

Nice, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Easy parking in their garage (they give you a permit to display on your dash). Good breakfast. Only 2 donwsides I can think of: 1. the breakfast ends too early (10am would be better) and we were there for 16 nights and our room was never fully cleaned. We had to request it (and they seemed to be surprised by my request) and even then only the sheets were changed. They didn't vacuum or clean the bathroom. I don't know about you but at home I don't go 2 weeks without vacuuming or changing the sheets.

Stayed 3 nights solo during Thanksgiving. The Element is a very clean and beautiful hotel. Bed was comfy. Very quiet (assuming due to holiday) Nice area with lots of food and shopping options nearby. There is a parking garage (pay for parking). Coffee and breakfast were good (especially the egg, sausage, pepper scramble)

Clean and friendly staff

Our AC at home broke and we moved into the 1 bedroom suite with a lovely kitchen. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable and the kitchen has very nice dinning sets and cookwares. The daily breakfast was amazing, it has a lot of health choice like "make your own" yogurt parfait! The staff were very attentive and always checked in with us on how our AC repair is going.

We’ve stayed at the domain a couple times at the Archer…I wanted to try something different and the element looked nice enough. It’s not. Check-in provided nothing more than an indented curb-in an alley. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly(SAT 4pm). GOOD The parking was in covered garage(not far from entrance). The decor is sterile. We had a king room, it was clean-0character and the AC unit was loud. Towels weren’t soft, our view was a swamp. It’s a good hike to make it into the domain…no shuttle services. Not worth the price we paid for sure.

I loved everything about this hotel. Only one thing was the pillows were so thin, doesn't support your neck, I'll be bringing my own pillows next time. But the bed was super comfortable though. Everything was awesome.

Large, clean and comfortable rooms!

The 1st room we were assigned had no hot water, so they moved us to another room. Other than that, everything was great.

The hotel was very nice, clean modern. It had spacious rooms and delicious breakfast was offered. Only the TV was not working rest everything was excellent

Incredible hotel! Would definitely stay again loved the kitchenettes in the room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but it's free.

Extremely well-run small boutique hotel with delicious buffet breakfast, the Westin-style bedding package, rooms with high ceilings, super-fast WiFi, and great windows. Kevin at the front desk was an extraordinarily helpful contact. The lobby is open and airy. I can't wait to return

Everything was excellent! Staff is top notch!! A wonderful man by the name of Dwayne at the reception greeted us, he was very kind and professional! In fact, I left some items in the room and someone from the front desk called to notify me.

Uncomfortable pillows and rude front desk staff!! Not friendly!

The hotel is very good but there was only 1 staff on duty so we had to wait for her to finish other errands

My brother dropped his phone between the elevator and the elevator door. It fell into the shaft. Maintenance was able to retrieve it!! We are impressed. This is our second time staying there. We really had a good time. We feel cared for and appreciated.

i had a terrible experience here and I do intend to place a review on Google. I parked in an UNMARKED spot, that also had an EV charger on it. I purposely picked the one spot without a sign. might add, none of the EV signs called out a tow away possibility anyway. about 11:30 PM, thank goodness, my car notified me it was being stolen and i rushed downstairs to find it gone. i called 911 and started a stolen report and the APD as they tried to help me, asked me about the hotel. I was literally standing at the front desk talking to the police, and the employees watched me, only to find out later they towed my vehicle. They literally watched me report a car stolen that they knew was towed by them. Then they said it was because i parked in an EV spot, marked for tow away, which it was not, and further she told me the GM approved it. This could all have been avoided in many way. First, a sign, marked as tow away would help. Or, the entrance has "hotel guest only signs" with tow away warnings(that say nothing about EV spots). well, they do not verify car info as you check in, so how do you know who is staying and who is not? If you had, you could have called my room and asked me to move the car rather than cause me to go to an unsafe part of town at 12am in the morning to get my car and then show no empathy and cost me $250. One more detail, i then saw they have tow trucks stationed outside of the garage!! Unbelievable! Picture attached

Element Austin at the Domain was excellent. Clean, large room. Comfy bed. Great location. A+

Wonderful staff! Breakfast could be better, need more healthy options as well. Nice room and the expression machine is nice in the lobby. Nice 7-10 minute walk to parts of the Domain shopping area. Will stay here again next time in Austin.

It was a convenient 15 minute drive to downtown. We came to Austin for the eclipse and to see the city. The hotel was very nice! Will use again in the future.

Everything was great, and the hotel was charming and modern with excellent customer service. It's close to the domain, so you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. The only downside was the breakfast, which was very basic with few options.

The morning food area need to stay full with food until the time of closing (9:30am). When we were at the hotel, the staff did not replenish the food.

Best part of the stay was the amazing breakfast. Chef cooked eggs, pancakes, French toast to perfection. Beautiful presentation. The food looked almost too good to eat.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and appreciated the overall experience. However, we found the breakfast offerings to be somewhat limited, and the quality of the food could be improved.
