We absolutely loved our stay. Friendly staff, clean, smelled wonderful, and good breakfast. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The rooms even have speakers to connect to.

The room was lovely. Good location of the hotel near the Cathedral, however, the location is a bit dodgy, it isn't the best. The front of house staff can look fed up when we return from the night, however, the gentlemen who checked us out on Sunday morning was lovely and acknowledged us. Works was being done when we were there, the lift had works done and the fumes were so strong, we couldn't quite breathe whilst in the lift.

Das Hotel gehört mit zu den saubersten, die ich je kennengelernt habe, wirklich klasse! Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer im 6. Stock für mich alleine und war begeistert - nicht nur von der Sauberkeit, sondern auch von Stil und Design des Zimmers. Quasi on top hatte das Zimmer ein riesiges Fenster, das wie eine Balkontür zu öffnen war und einen herrlichen Blick freigab über die Dächer und Dachterassender angrenzenden Häuser - ich mochte gerade das ganz besonders, weil man wie "mitten drin" war im Leben der Stadt. Mein Dank geht an alle Mitarbeiter der Rezeption, die mir in allen Belangen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen und nicht nur dafür gesorgt haben, dass ich meinen Flieger noch erreiche sondern auch eine Art "Fels in der Brandung" für uns Gäste waren, als es zum größten Stromausfall aller Zeiten über drei Länder hinweg kam und wir nicht nur in Spanien vom Rest der Welt wie abgeschnitten waren - in diesem schönen Hotel war selbst das trotz aller Schrecken gut zu ertragen! Ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig war für mich zuerst die Umgebung des Hotels, was aber in der Hauptsache daran lag, dass ich im Dunkeln angekommen bin. Am Tag gestaltete sich dieser Eindruck dann schon anders. Ich kann dieses schöne Hotel nur empfehlen und freue mich, es entdeckt zu haben!

This small hotel is a gem. Wonderful location in El Born, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was sparkling clean, very efficient use of space, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in! Breakfast was delicious, with homemade hot dishes, pastries, and lovely coffee options. I would highly recommend!

We stayed three nights and would say Musik is the perfect place for a stay for your city break in Barcelona. A great central location in the Gothic Quarter, but relatively peaceful.  The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. They are simple but it feels much more upmarket than the 3 star rating suggests. It has a very boutique feel - and would highly recommend this over a soulless chain hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room and it was nice to have a little balcony to stand out and watch what was happening in the streets below.  Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Barcelona in September. The location was perfect, and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. A special shoutout to Jacek(hopefully i'm spelling his name correctly) who gave us some amazing tips for our next destination, and we had nice chats!

From start to finish, our stay was excellent and could not fault anything during our stay. The moment we entered, we were provided with a lovely and warm welcome by Cezar who treated us like more than guests. Cezar went above and beyond by advising us where to visit for the timeframe we had, gave a list of restaurants close-by by categories and to top off the whole stay was the bottle of bubbly for my birthday and the thoughtful message. The hotel smells beautiful, very clean (our room was clean and made everyday as well as the communal areas) and very quiet. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on this. The location was ideal and easy to find. 10/10 and would return to stay here again. Thank you!

I would like to highlight the staff promptness and friendliness. Available through whatsapp staff has been very prompt to respond, help and also advise on sights around. Rooms are very comfortable. It’s rare to say for hotels in general, but bed was firm and comfortable. Shower had good temp and pressure with all the necessary ammenities provided

We stayed three nights and would say Musik is the perfect place for a stay for your city break in Barcelona. A great central location in the Gothic Quarter, but relatively peaceful.  The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. They are simple but it feels much more upmarket than the 3 star rating suggests. It has a very boutique feel - and would highly recommend this over a soulless chain hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room and it was nice to have a little balcony to stand out and watch what was happening in the streets below.  Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Some of the nearby areas seemed unsafe. Undesirables doing drugs and making threatening remarks as we walked by. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean but there were very few amenities.

Excellent location. Restaurants and stores near and walking distance from many sights. Service was excelllent including recommendations to restaurants and events in the city during our stay. Room was clean and had good air conditioning. We highly recommend.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Barcelona und sind von diesem Hotel begeistert. Es ist sehr gut gelegen. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen und auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in der Nähe. Die Mitarbeiter/innen im Hotel waren alle sehr freundlich. Man konnte sich wirklich wohl fühlen. Die zentrale Lage bringt es allerdings auch mit sich, dass es nachts manchmal etwas lauter ist. Die Fenster halten Geräusche aber gut ab und es gibt eine Klimaanlage. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es schöne Restaurants, in die auch viele Einheimische gehen.

This small hotel is a gem. Wonderful location in El Born, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was sparkling clean, very efficient use of space, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in! Breakfast was delicious, with homemade hot dishes, pastries, and lovely coffee options. I would highly recommend!

Stayed here many times and it never disappoints. Friendly helpful staff, always on hand. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms clean, and good facilities. Great location ideal for the centre of Barcelona, and 5 or so minutes from the Cathedral.

Loved this hotel and the front desk staff, especially Cezar! Very friendly, accommodating, helpful with recommendations and directions. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Location was good with endless options of things to do within walking distance. This area of Barcelona though is older, more compact, busy and a little rough around the edges so be aware of your surroundings. It’s still a must see unique area with beautiful architecture and history. We felt safe traveling as two women and happy we had Musik to stay at. Thank you!

The hotel was well located to explore the El Born area of Barcelona and close to many restaurants, cafes and bars. We did have an issue with our room that the manager resolved for us. Overall we had a comfortable stay at this hotel and would recommend it to people visiting Barcelona. There is an area close to the hotel that I would say people should avoid - Placa del Pou de le Figuera. We walked through this park on our way back from dinner and from Google reviews we were lucky to not have been robbed. Avoid this park and take other routes back to the hotel (there are many).
