It’s a big nice style building with a beautiful garden in the courtyard, close to the lake and surrounded by huge dunes. Bedding, towels,etc were clean. The staff is super friendly and cordial. Breakfast was great (fried eggs, sausage, cheese and meat, fresh fruit, breads and fresh juice). Being located in such an old building this hotel definitely has problems- it’s pretty outdated, the toilet was clogged when we got there (once we reported the problem though the staff got to the room immediately to fix that) and there was barely any hot water for a morning shower. They provide only bath towels, no hand towels or a foot towel and the floor is very slippery for wet feet. The swimming pool (which was the main reason why we chose this place) was closed at the time of our arrival (around 7.30 pm) and didn’t get to open till 10.30am in the morning, and since we had to leave at 11 am there was no way for us to use it. But being located in such an old building this hotel definitely has its problems- it’s pretty outdated, the toilet was clogged when we got there (once we reported the problem though the staff got to the room immediately to fix that) and there was barely any hot water for a morning shower. Great location and fantastic pool area. Lovely garden and very traditional hacienda style. Room was basic and was two rooms adjoined so only one got air con. Hotel restaurant breakfast ok, lunch not great better to eat out.

Arquitectura muy bien conservada, fue el hotel mas lindo de todos, los demás eran tipo boutique o para mochileros. Personal muy amable, con excepción de la recepcionista q me cobro casi 13 dólares de impuestos cuando en mi app salía q ya me habían incluido los impuestos. Fue el único hotel de ese viaje q me salió con ese detalle. Poco espacio para parking, y la piscina la abren recién 10:30 am. me lo perdí!

Huacachina is an amazing place. Mostly hostels but the DM Mossone looked to be a higher quality. Easy check in and beautiful gardens in the central courtyard. Our room was a really good size with a huge comfortable bed. The resort is lively and we could hear a lot of partying from adjacent hostels. Despite this had a good night sleep and the breakfast started at 06.00 so we were able to eat before our pick ip to Nazca at 06.45. The breakfast was buffet but had a good selection of fruit, cereals breads and scrambled eggs. We did have a quick swim in the pool which was a good size and lovely and quiet.

Room was huge - king bed, and not one chair or coffee table. Bathroom fixtures were terribly old and mold around the shower and tiles. Poorly furnished for sure. Bed was comfortable but only had bedsheets. Had to ask for two blankets. Breakfast was good! Quiet area.

This property definitely fell short of our expectations; though the check-in process was relatively painless (they speak very little English, if any), the rooms were not as we expected. It felt like walking into a motel; the shower was moldy and there were a few spider webs around the room. The bed comforter/sheets didn't feel clean, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The courtyard was beautiful, and due to cold weather we didn't get to use the pool.

The property is very nice but this is very misleading. The room are dirty. I found many insects in the bathroom, the water of the shower was cold after about 2 minutes and the water could not go in the shower drain, it was blocked. Rooms are disgusting. Breakfast had very limited options, even if this was a buffet, this was the worst I had in my travel. They definitely need to remodel the rooms, for this price, it does not worth staying there at all.

Fantastic stay at the DM Mossone Hotel in Huacachina, Peru. Its right beside the lake and offers complimentary breakfast. The room was large and very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I come back.

quizas el hotel es uno de los mas antiguos, por lo tanto sus instalaciones eran super viejas...frigos oxidados, paredes malogradas de la humedad y con hongos, nada de ventilacion..ni que decir el televisor super viejos y con un cable pobricimo, closed donde apenas tienen 2 colgadores y lleno de humedad y el wifi ni funciona..seguramente es muy pobre que colaxa

The hotel was very convenient, steps from oasis and all shops and restaurants. I suspect property was gorgeous twenty years ago but I think it likely hasn’t had much for updates since then. It has very nice bones, garden, pool were nice but the rooms definitely could use some renovation, very dated. We didn’t spend time in the room as it was small and very basic but it met our needs for the one night we stayed. Air conditioning was great but toilet was very sensitive, didn’t flush well and we had to ask for it to be fixed within an hour of our stay. I will say we asked for it to be fixed and it was within ten minutes. Breakfast was nice in the morning, basic but hot and had toast and eggs and fresh fruits. All in all the property was nice, service great, location great but the rooms could use some renovations to make it a great resort. For one night would recommend staying there though. It met our needs fine.

It was centrally located and perfect for an overnight stay. The room itself was okay. Had A/C, but it was located in the adjacent living room. There was no fan in the room and the bathroom was moldy. Other than that, it fit our needs for a safe and quiet stay that was not a hostel.

Estuvimos hospedados en la habitación 1, muy amplia, cómoda e independiente. El hotel tiene parqueadero exclusivo para los clientes lo cual genera mayor seguridad, la habitación contaba con cama cómoda, baño en buen estado, aire acondicionado un poco viejo, pero funcional (No enfría mucho), nevera en mal estado no funcionaba, el hotel está bien ubicado, hay varios restaurantes a su alrededor. No utilizamos piscina ni restaurante del hotel entonces no hay opiniones al respecto.

Piscina e o jardim interno são muito gostosos, já os quartos são muito antiquados e tinha um certo barulho da rua, apesar de ser em um oásis. O chuveiro era muito bom, mas sua altura é muito baixa o que atrapalhava meu banho, por ser um pouco alto.

La habitacion realmente esta descuidada. El aire acondicionado es realmente viejo, hace un ruido horrible y no enfria lo suficiente, para estar en el desierto. La atencion de la recepcion y una de las meseras (la mas grande de edad) es horrible, se enojan por todo. Les pedi toallas. Ya que no habia y apenas contestaron.

Breakfast was great (fried eggs, sausage, cheese and meat, fresh fruit, breads and fresh juice). Being located in such an old building this hotel definitely has problems- it’s pretty outdated, the toilet was clogged when we got there (once we reported the problem though the staff got to the room immediately to fix that) and there was barely any hot water for a morning shower. They provide only bath towels, no hand towels or a foot towel and the floor is very slippery for wet feet. The swimming pool (which was the main reason why we chose this place) was closed at the time of our arrival (around 7.30 pm) and didn’t get to open till 10.30am in the morning, and since we had to leave at 11 am there was no way for us to use it. I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff, the lack of cleanliness and quality of the room and the food at breakfast were all well below the standard you would expect. Upon arrival I gave over my passport to aid in finding the reservation, the gentleman wanted my boyfriends passport and continued to tell me we didn’t have a reservation… I explained the reservation was in my name not that of my other half, but he continued to search for his name, after 10mintues of him rudely telling us we didn’t have a reservation I asked to see the list off him and found my own name, he eventually conceded that we did have a reservation and gave me a key. When I asked where our room was another member of staff appeared took the room number and marched off leaving us in his wake as we navigated the cobbles with our bags! The room itself was terrible, light fittings and plug sockets hanging off the wall, with exposed wires. The plug sparked when you plugged anything in! There were no towels in the bathroom, and although there was aircon, you couldn’t have it on while sleeping as it sounded like a jet engine taking off! There were also a number of woodlice in the room! Upon checkout we handed in the key and we walked around the corner to continue our onward journey only to be chased down by a member of the staff in his car who was shouting at us in the street for stealing their towels… I was speechless !!

This is one of the largest hotels in huacachina. The facility is beautiful. The room is sizable and comfortable. The staffs were nice with a security guard at the entrance. Easy check in and check out process. The breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, our room was located in the back that’s near a loud restaurant or bar. The music was quite loud until about 10 am. Other than this issue, everything else was great.

The hotel was very convenient, steps from oasis and all shops and restaurants. I suspect property was gorgeous twenty years ago but I think it likely hasn’t had much for updates since then. Air conditioning was great but toilet was very sensitive, didn’t flush well and we had to ask for it to be fixed within an hour of our stay. Es war nur eine Nacht während einer 2tägigen Tour nach Nazca. Die Nacht war in Ordnung und für mich verglichen mit einigen Hostel in der Nähe deutlich passender, ruhiger, weniger frequentiert und direkt an der Oase liegend. Die Oase ist aber nicht riesig und alles in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar.

Staff are really nice. Property is in need of repairs. Paint peeling in rooms, light fixtures falling off, soap dispenser in shower fell off the wall, lots of water pressure in shower but no hot water, food at restaurant for dinner seemed like it was made from frozen or canned, garden area is very nice and peaceful, for the amount they charge I expected better

The property is very nice but this is very misleading. The room are dirty. I found many insects in the bathroom, the water of the shower was cold after about 2 minutes and the water could not go in the shower drain, it was blocked. Rooms are disgusting. Breakfast had very limited options, even if this was a buffet, this was the worst I had in my travel. They definitely need to remodel the rooms, for this price, it does not worth staying there at all.

O hotel tem um bonito pátio. Os quartos são simples mas bem limpos. O café da manhã é bom mas não gostei que tem alguém para servir, me sinto como se tivesse um limite para comer. O atendimento foi bom mas mesmo com o hotel vazio eles não nos deixaram colocar as malas no quarto pela manhã

Huacachina is an amazing place. Mostly hostels but the DM Mossone looked to be a higher quality. Easy check in and beautiful gardens in the central courtyard. Our room was a really good size with a huge comfortable bed. The resort is lively and we could hear a lot of partying from adjacent hostels. Despite this had a good night sleep and the breakfast started at 06.00 so we were able to eat before our pick ip to Nazca at 06.45. The breakfast was buffet but had a good selection of fruit, cereals breads and scrambled eggs. We did have a quick swim in the pool which was a good size and lovely and quiet.
