Great spot on the beach close to the ruins and has a nice beach club. Nothing too fancy just very comfortable. We cycled ( free bikes ) to the ruins in about 10-15 mins and also into town in about 25 mins. It’s very quiet at night as it’s in the National Park area so great for a quiet stay. If you want something more lively stay further south on the beach strip ( south of Kore )

This is an amazing place. The hotel is inside Del Jaguar Parque Tulum. You need to go through the park gate when you come to the hotel. It’s 120 pesos every time you leave and come back during park hours. After park hours, you can keep your wristband. There are some great restaurants down the beach and the restaurant at the beach club is good. Breakfast is very good and the service is excellent. We loved the beach club and the beach itself is beautiful with nice clean fine white sand. There is a lot of seaweed at times in the water. The room was small but the cleaning was excellent with different ‘towel animals’ every day. There are free shuttles in the park to get to the ruins and museum. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful stay at Paraiso beach. Very welcoming, spotless room, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Staff all very friendly and professional and helpful. Delicious breakfast served every morning, and Beautiful pool. Restaurant at beach club has great cocktails and lunch options. A wonderful stay!

Friendly place, small hotel with beach club. Martha was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking (the morning of!). Beach club was great and beach bed was included with reservation, as well as breakfast. The hotels provides bikes to go exploring or in our case to the restaurant Casa Maria in the evening. Note that there is a 60 pesos per person charge to enter the national park within which the hotel is located. You cannot bring cans, plastic bottles or alcohol in the park.

El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo. El lugar donde te hospedas esta como a unos 50 metros de la playa y son habitaciones comodas y con lo necesario para una estancia. La alberca esta muy bonita.

Hotel is right next to Playa Paraiso and its restaurant. Breakfast at the beach is included. Have free access to sun loungers and the beach as a hotel guest. Have free bikes available. Close to the Tulum ruins and can walk to some nearby restaurants.

Everyone was so nice and helpful - from helping me arrange transport from the airport to making dinner reservations to letting me borrow a wine cork - everyone was lovely. The waiters, the front desk staff, the security guys - all so nice and helpful. the beach is gorgeous, they have big unbrellas to use, the pool is lovely, you can walk to the archeological site and to a number of restaurants. great stay.

Excellent séjour petit hôtel très bien tenu. Bon petit déjeuner servi sur commande à la chambre. À côté de la plage, possibilité de profiter du beach club à côté. La plage est sublime. Et on peut aller aux pieds aux ruines.

Excelente atención desde el momento de tu llegada. El check in muy rápido. La calidad de alimentos muy buena. La habitación estaba impecable y muy amplia. La playa estaba limpia y casi libre de sargazo. Una lástima que solo estuvimos una noche en este hotel.

Staff of great! The reason I would not return is the accommodations within a secluded location. The restaurant and beach and beach club close at 6:00 pm and everything is far . So if you’re hungry or want a drink you need to take a cab somewhere. Also our rooms toilet began to randomly bubble and smell like strong sewage this happened twice during our stay .

Tuvimos una mala experiencia, es muy caro para lo que ofrece y lo peor no tuvimos servicio de agua en la habitación, no pudimos bañarnos ni usar el baño 😡 en toda la noche y hasta las 10 de la mañana del siguiente día

L’hôtel et son personnel est très professionnel et aidant. Les déjeuners sont généreux et délicieux. Nous avons eu un très beau séjour au PARAISO. C’est un secteur paisible et d’une propreté remarquable! Je suggère de mettre une machine à café par chambre et de s’assurer d’offrir des vélos avec déflecteurs et lumières car il n’y a pas de lumière partout sur la route du parc et Coba. Cependant, L’approche des gendarmes à l’entrée du parc est intimidante et ne donne pas le goût de revenir. Cela ne créer pas un sentiment de sécurité. Pourquoi créer de la peur! Je suis pour les pratiques écologiques mais pas de manière coercitive. Ceci remet en question mon prochain voyage à Tulum et dans ce secteur. Le cout d’entrée au parc ne devrait pas être chargé aux personnes qui ont un déjà payé pour leur hôtel.

I did like all the environment except for 1 part of the room, it was under construction and it looked strange even tough it was covered. Besides that, the people and the rest of the hotel were amazing. Thank you.

Muy bonita playa. Tranquilo por las noches. En las mañanas muy temprano desde las 7:30 ya hay ruido de trabajos de mantenimiento, eso fue lo que no me gustó.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Small hotel but beautiful inside and out! Steps from the beautiful beach and beach club that offers lounge beds for your full day on the beach. There is also a restaurant on site where breakfast is included. The food was great! The hotel is in a national park which was very nice. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and there is a tram that takes you throughout the park during the day. Also a museum that is free!! The ladies at the reception desk were very helpful. They reserved restaurants for us and excursions! They kept in contact with us throughout. My family of 3 felt very safe and we had the best time! We will definitely be back here!

Everything about this place was perfect. The staff were very helpful! Especially the reception personnel. The rooms and grounds were always clean. The food was on point!! Perhaps the only minor issue is the lack of access to food after 6pm. Though this is temporary due to the construction, the staff was always ready to help in any way. They literally went above and beyond to accommodate. I’m grateful that we decided to stay here. Looking forward to returning when we visit again.
Everything about this place was perfect. The staff were very helpful! Especially the reception personnel. The rooms and grounds were always clean. The food was on point!! My room was to accommodate 4 people. I got there with my wife and kids (9&7) 2 queen bed room. They wanted to charge me an additional $60/each. They were extremely rude. Very bad experience, we left. We did not even sleep there. They made us feel very unwelcome. They charge like if it was a 5star hotel, the actual hotel is more like a 2 star and the staff and service was a zero. Beach is spectacular.

Everyone was so nice and helpful - from helping me arrange transport from the airport to making dinner reservations to letting me borrow a wine cork - everyone was lovely. The waiters, the front desk staff, the security guys - all so nice and helpful. the beach is gorgeous, they have big unbrellas to use, the pool is lovely, you can walk to the archeological site and to a number of restaurants. great stay.

The staff was awesome(x10)!!!. Everything was on point. Clean facilities and beutiful beachfront. The only thing that I wish they would provide is dinner so your not out looking for food like Dora the Explorer at night.

While the hotel was pretty and the beach is clean - check in was smooth staff was very pleasant- offered an upgrade which we booked thro uh h Expedia - and as VIP of Expedia it should have been free- it was $600 USD we stayed in the bungalow which was nice but comes with no extra amenities lol was even charged for the milk for the coffee in the room. Everyone is very aggressive with tips to be received - but this was true for all the restaurants we visited not just the hotel restaurant. This hotels restaurant closes at 5:30-6PM and dinner is not available. You can ask front desk to arrange a car for you but the price they give you will not be the price when you get in the cab lol both times for scammed out of an additional 100-200 pesos. Also hotel does not follow the current conversions USD to Pesos and when told theirs was off changing prices by a few dollars o was met with pretty aggravated responses. On the one hand what’s a few dollars ? But on the other you should be honest. Hotel all in all is nothing to cry home about and neither is service although the beach itself area was beautiful and kept clean as it’s in the national park.

We had a very nice time at El Paraiso Hotel de Tulum. It was located on a beautiful beach – although be aware of the season, lots of seaweed. So I don’t know if it’s just in the summer or what, but there was a lot of it. But once you stepped over the seaweed, the water was really pretty. The service was great-they answered all my questions and were able to recommend a snorkeling and cenote tour. Bring your bug spray and your sunscreen you will need both.

Great spot on the beach close to the ruins and has a nice beach club. Nothing too fancy just very comfortable. We cycled ( free bikes ) to the ruins in about 10-15 mins and also into town in about 25 mins. It’s very quiet at night as it’s in the National Park area so great for a quiet stay. If you want something more lively stay further south on the beach strip ( south of Kore )

This is an amazing place. The hotel is inside Del Jaguar Parque Tulum. You need to go through the park gate when you come to the hotel. It’s 120 pesos every time you leave and come back during park hours. After park hours, you can keep your wristband. There are some great restaurants down the beach and the restaurant at the beach club is good. Breakfast is very good and the service is excellent. We loved the beach club and the beach itself is beautiful with nice clean fine white sand. There is a lot of seaweed at times in the water. The room was small but the cleaning was excellent with different ‘towel animals’ every day. There are free shuttles in the park to get to the ruins and museum. I would definitely recommend it.

Ubicada en una playa preciosa, desafortunadamente tienes que acceder por el Parque Jaguar, y los que cobran los brazaletes tardan muchísimo. Tardamos más de una hora haciendo fila para poder entrar. Prácticamente el mismo tiempo que hicimos de Cancún a Tulum. Eso lo demerita mucho y me la pensaría para hospedarme ahí nuevamente.

I enjoyed staying at El Paraiso hotel. It is right in a national park so quieter than expected which I appreciated. It was nice to have breakfast there. Sometimes wished there were more transportation options, but the new road should help.

Después de una llegada horrible, todo oscuro, por un camino inhóspito sin luz, con mucho caminante, sin ningún letrero indicando hacia donde hay que ir... lo encontramos terrible y queríamos irnos. Al día siguiente salió el sol, y todo fue diferente, la playa muy buena, el mar delicioso, la habitación muy bonita, el desayuno buenísimo...

Staff of great! The reason I would not return is the accommodations within a secluded location. The restaurant and beach and beach club close at 6:00 pm and everything is far . So if you’re hungry or want a drink you need to take a cab somewhere. Also our rooms toilet began to randomly bubble and smell like strong sewage this happened twice during our stay .

Excelente atención desde el momento de tu llegada. El check in muy rápido. La calidad de alimentos muy buena. La habitación estaba impecable y muy amplia. La playa estaba limpia y casi libre de sargazo. Una lástima que solo estuvimos una noche en este hotel.

El hotel es muy lindo, en la recepción nos atendieron muy bien, linda playa, sin embargo el servicio de comida es hasta las 5.30 pm y la playa hasta las 6.00 pm por lo que no pudimos disfrutar mucho nuestra estadía de un solo día, adicional tengan cuidado cuando vayan al restaurante ya que esconden los precios de las bebidas y nos cobraron 1100 pesos por 2 jarras de aguas de limón de cuando mucho un litro cada una, muy mal servicio en restaurante

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Small hotel but beautiful inside and out! Steps from the beautiful beach and beach club that offers lounge beds for your full day on the beach. There is also a restaurant on site where breakfast is included. The food was great! The hotel is in a national park which was very nice. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and there is a tram that takes you throughout the park during the day. Also a museum that is free!! The ladies at the reception desk were very helpful. They reserved restaurants for us and excursions! They kept in contact with us throughout. My family of 3 felt very safe and we had the best time! We will definitely be back here!

Beautiful stay at Paraiso beach. Very welcoming, spotless room, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Staff all very friendly and professional and helpful. Delicious breakfast served every morning, and Beautiful pool. Restaurant at beach club has great cocktails and lunch options. A wonderful stay!

L’hôtel et son personnel est très professionnel et aidant. Les déjeuners sont généreux et délicieux. Nous avons eu un très beau séjour au PARAISO. C’est un secteur paisible et d’une propreté remarquable! Je suggère de mettre une machine à café par chambre et de s’assurer d’offrir des vélos avec déflecteurs et lumières car il n’y a pas de lumière partout sur la route du parc et Coba. Cependant, L’approche des gendarmes à l’entrée du parc est intimidante et ne donne pas le goût de revenir. Cela ne créer pas un sentiment de sécurité. Pourquoi créer de la peur! Je suis pour les pratiques écologiques mais pas de manière coercitive. Ceci remet en question mon prochain voyage à Tulum et dans ce secteur. Le cout d’entrée au parc ne devrait pas être chargé aux personnes qui ont un déjà payé pour leur hôtel.

Excellent séjour petit hôtel très bien tenu. Bon petit déjeuner servi sur commande à la chambre. À côté de la plage, possibilité de profiter du beach club à côté. La plage est sublime. Et on peut aller aux pieds aux ruines.

We loved the hotel's location in the National Park and on the beach. The restaurant was delicious, the staff were helpful, everything was great. We loved the free breakfast! They gave us bikes to use and we were able to visit other hotels for dinner each night and feel safe doing so. We walked to the ruins and took the electric shuttles. The only things we'd have changed was to have the bar and/or restaurant open later so we could grab apps or drinks in the evenings. We were also quite confused by how the shuttles worked and it took a couple days to figure it out, so a better explanation with a map of the routes might have been helpful. But these are just suggestions. We had a wonderful time!

Right up against beach area with white sand. Good size pool. Property is inside protected reserve, and surrounded by a jungle with a single road for access. Couple of nearby restaurants are accessible walking on the beach, or the road, and have excellent food. With everything else in the area for other activities (Cenote, water parks etc), this offers the best location to stay and unwind and explore.
