I don't like the fact that if you are in the rooms opposite the pool, people drive to the pool and park along the fence line blocking in the cars parked in their designated car parks out side their rooms as we were! We were a bit restricted getting in to start with as ther was a car there when we arrived. When I mentioned this to a staff member I was informed that this was not permissable and they had noticed a car there! They didnt do anything about it though even though this was during office hours. As the office is unattended after 4pm the situation got worse.

Group of people not staying at hotel came and took over pool and bbq and stayed for 7 hours then left. No property management were around to deal with it. Also upon arrival screaming and swearing for a long time during our check in.

Quiet room and clean. The room was spacious. Needed a screen on the sliding entry door. Shower was piping hot. Aircon worked well. This is a basic hotel but the bed was super comfortable and the amenities were good. There was an excellent pool and spar. Just up the road we found an IGA and bought some salad for dinner which we ate in the room. Flatware, glasses, cutlery supplied as well as fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. We would definitely stay again

A few bugs in the bed but still clean, free breakfast for a day was also a bonus. Bring pool towels as they don’t allow the bath towels for the pool, it says no pets but someone had a few dogs and they don’t stop barking but overall pretty good

We stayed here for one night and the pet room smelt like dog or cat wee and they gave us another room which was kind of them. We stayed over a week and a fair amount of time and spent allot of money here. We booked for another night and they refused us, pretty much turned their back on us. I asked about the live in Cabins and was told they had none and there’s a 2-3 weeks wait on the criteria. Yet these kiwis who just got here were given a Cabin the next day and able to move into one. Talk about favouritism your own. This was the most rudest place I’ve ever been to. The prices online were cheaper than paying at the desk and the lady behind the desk was hesitant to give me the Expedia pricing. Was told to talk to Management about the kiwis getting the cabin and not us. The whole thing was a joke really, especially toward the end. I also had to go and ask for fresh towels and sugar. It wasn’t topped up or given to us fresh. The bed hurt my back and my whole body. Check in is way too late and check out is too early. The only good thing I noticed was the tall older guy that works there. He was really pleasant to deal with. Thank you I forgot your name. It was nice to have someone that was on my side. I felt a little ganged up on.

I liked the decor & location & ease of arrival & key access for out of hours. Room was clean & pleasant & well priced. I didn’t like that the shower door can’t close unless you open the bathroom door, and wish there was a couple of extra power points for more than one device. Hot water needs turning down a bit, very dangerous for children.

I have stayed at this property numerous times. This time on a 5 night stay I was given a room with a very noisy air conditioner. Further, the settings on this air conditioner were very limited. The weather was hot and without air-conditioning because of the noise, the room was very uncomfortable at night. The sink was inoperable because the plug did not engage. VERY DISAPPOINTING this time.

We booked for 7 nights. On our second night there was a storm which showed our room had a leak. Once the staf were informed they moved us to another room exactly the same. On our fifth night I got bad news from home and when I told them that we would be leaving a day early, they were so great and offered a credit for the last night and wished us all the best with our situation at home. Absolutely the best service I have ever had from any company whether it was an accommodation or even retail company. Keep up the brilliant service guys, we’ll be back for sure.

The hosts went above and beyond coming out at 1 am to let me into my room after it was inadvertently booked for the following year (so a whole year in advance). Super impressed that room was checked and lights put on for me as I was collecting my luggage from the car. Connecting to hosts at that time of morning could have been easier - in the end local police helped as they just happened to be on property dealing with a medical emergency otherwise I could have been left out in the cold

The room had everything I needed and was clean. My room was back off the road so I found it to be fairly quiet. Check in was easy. Overall great value. Carrum downs is a mostly industrial area, so not much nearby as far as cafes etc. but it was very handy for work and Uber eats delivered food.

It is a shame you cannot take dogs into the bbq area anymore. I gather it is because people havent been doing the right thing cleaning up after their dogs. When I have stayed I have cleaned up many droppings from others dogs. Including this time outside but that probably is passer byes

Had an amazing stay with my dog able to stay also, loved the breakfast selection made up in the room, rooms were so clean, staff so accommodating and friendly, huge green space out front perfect for quick toileting of dog then massive park only street behind could let dog off leash. Will stay again and bed super comfy
