I recently stayed there with my dad and brother. The location is fantastic, rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Christel the concierge was super helpful and the restaurant is pretty good. The best part about casa del alma is the free underground parking since it’s extremely difficult to find parking around downtown San Cristobal. Great experience!

Rooms are really nice, spacious and clean. Not a big fan of the carpet, but that is just a personal opinion. The hotel is really beautiful inside and the hotel staff is very friendly. But the restaurant staff are a bit weird and I never felt quite welcome, one day I was told only one cup of coffee was included in the breakfast (which is quite weird for a 4 star hotel) but then suddenly it wasn't ? Perfect location near the center but still nice and quiet.

Great Hotel however it could be very noisy. Had to change my room due to the noise. In the room I changed to the air conditioning didn’t cool, I reported it but they didn’t fix it! The people form the hotel are really nice.

Un hotel lindo, habitación amplia, aunque con detalles de mantenimiento, no se iba bien el agua en el lavabo y el sistema de ventilación se encontraba fallando (de esto último nos informó la recepción al momento de check in y ofrecieron ventiladores portátiles si era necesario).

Es un buen hotel por instalaciones y alimentos. Lo que es importante tomar en cuenta es que las instalaciones son tal cual se aprecia en la foto y eso lo convierte en una área ruidosa ya sea por conversaciones entre huéspedes o empleados. hay bocinas instaladas afuera de los cuartos y la música se apaga a las 11pm y se prende a las 9am o a las 7am Si su idea es un hotel de relajamiento sin ruido este no es la mejor opción

Beautiful comfortable hotel in city center. Close to restaurants and city action but quiet. Lovely large room with comfortable bedding, spacious bathroom with all of the amenities. Highly recommend.

We had a terrible bad experience. The hotel is nice and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a gas smell inside the room. It is worrying that the front desk team wasn’t worried about this. At checkout, we agreed with the front desk lady to leave the car parked a few hours more. However, the communication with the parking guy was not clear and he asked us to leave the hotel. He was really rude. It’s a shame that a nice hotel has this kind of service with its clients.

El servicio del personal fue de primera. Enrique en la recepción muy amable y atento a orientar y sugerir opciones de visita. En el restaurante , la atención, servicio y explicación de la carta y como se preparan los alimentos por parte de Rolando y Saúl, excelente. Sin duda regresaremos! Una gran experiencia!

We arrived in the morning after a long night bus ride. We requested to just leave our luggage until our room was ready and were so happy when we were told that a room was available and we could check in early. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with spacious and beautiful rooms. It is conveniently located within a block of the town center. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had booked with Hotel Bo but because they were doing renovations we were transferred over to Casa del Alma. Had a terrific stay at this hotel. Not sure why I would want to go to hotel Bo for an extra $70 a night. This place had everything. In particular the people at the front desk were extremely helpful

I have stayed at Casa del Alma 2 times and I love this small boutique hotel. It’s lovely and quiet and the staff is great. The restaurant has great food prepared by the chef and the presentation is always beautiful and very tasty. ( try de chipilin soup) It’s close to the cathedral and the main passages and museums. You can walked everywhere from this location. I definitely recommend it and when I go back to Dan Cristóbal de las casas I will definitely stay there again. It has only 27 suite rooms.

Fui amigo del difunto pintor Akio Hanafuji y desde que se abrio` este hotel, queria hospedarme para apreciar sus obras. Me gusto' mucho la habitacion y sus servicios. La comida del restaurante fue muy rica, pero lamentablemente el cafe y el tenegro no fueron de la calidad apta para este hotel de lujo Como el cconcepto del hotel es "eco", me gustaria mucho tomar el cafe y el te de comercio justo de calidad para exportar que respeta la conservacion de nuestra biofera.

I have stayed at Casa del Alma 2 times and I love this small boutique hotel. It’s lovely and quiet and the staff is great. The restaurant has great food prepared by the chef and the presentation is always beautiful and very tasty. ( try de chipilin soup) It’s close to the cathedral and the main passages and museums. Excelente estancia como siempre. El restaurante El Secreto excelente, Orlando (Tiene menos de un año) el mesero del desayuno y el mesero de la tarde que nos atendió excelente también. Nos sugirió buenos vinos. La comida deliciosa. Las habitaciones muy bonitas. Soy cliente repetitiva desde que se abrió.

Es mi hotel favorito en San Cristobal. Me siento como en casa. El Restaurante El Secreto de los mejores en San Cristobal, conozco a los meseros y todos son excelentes y dan un excelente servicio, con buena actitud, el Capitan de meseros siempre da un buen servicio. Hay una persona nueva en Recepcion Cristell fue un gran descubrimiento con una excelente actitud de servicio.
