Ein wirklich "nettes" Hotel. Super gut gelegen, egal ob für Wanderungen oder Radtouren in die Umgebung oder halt nur für einen Zwischenstopp. Eigener Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Sehr freundliches Personal, beim Frühstück (und wir haben die Frühstückszeiten wirklich ausgereizt bis zehn vor zehn... danke nochmals dafür) und am Abend im Gasthaus.
Ein wirklich "nettes" Hotel. Super gut gelegen, egal ob für Wanderungen oder Radtouren in die Umgebung oder halt nur für einen Zwischenstopp. Eigener Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Perfect for a one night stay. Room was very warm and no air con or fan, but the windows opened wide so it was ok. Room very big for a single. Dog friendly. Breakfast was great. Would happily stay again. Be aware there is no lift.

Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise ist das Hotel gut geeignet. Hervorzuheben und wirklich ausgezeichnet war das Abendessen. Insbesonders das empfohlene Pfeffersteak hatte eine sehr gute Qualität und war mit den Gemüsebeilagen und den Süßkartoffelpommes mehr als reichlich. Auch der Kaiserschmarrn war luftig und locker. Top war das Servicepersonal. Sehr freundlich und flink - wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Der Kaffee aus dem Automat ist jetzt nicht so meins. Das Hotel selbst riss mich jetzt nicht vom Hocker. Es war ohne Frage alles sehr sauber. Sehr spartanische Ausstattung des Zimmers sowie des ganzen Gebäudes liessen bei mir jetzt kein Urlaubsfeeling bei einem längeren Aufenthalt aufkommen. Der Gastgarten ist zwar gross, könnte aber auch mal von Unkraut befreit werden. Herrlich sind die schattigen Bäume.. Dass sich auf der direkt daneben befindenden Liegewiese ausgerechnet während der Abendessenszeit die erwachsenen Gäste eines Kindergeburtstages lm Fussballscharfschiessen übten, war jetzt auch nicht ganz so prickelnd, zumal der Ball desöfteren auf die parkenden Autos flog. Die Lage im Zentrum von Großgmain ist gut. Fazit: Abendessen top, ebenso das Servicepersonal - deshalb auch 4 Sterne. Hotels hatte ich in dieser Kategorie schon bessere, vor allem in Sachen Wolhfühlfaktor.

Trevligt familjärt hotell med en fin trädgård, god mat. Vi hade otur med vädret denna gång men annars fina omgivningar och nära till Salzburg och fina utflyktsmål i det underbara Österrike.

Great 3 nights here while exploring Salzburg, halstatt, eaglesnest, konigsee, and Berchesgarden. Hotel is Ideally located for these in a charming village with bavarian style buildings and church. Hotel itself is of same style but modern inside. Room was comfortable, very clean, spotless everywhere. Great nights sleep, comfortable beds, lovely balcony to look out on town and mountains beyond. Breakfast was very comprehensive and tasty, staff very helpful, most had very good english. Definitely would stay again.

Sehr schöne, frisch renovierte Zimmer. Allerdings muss man permanent lüften, da es sonst schnell stickig in den Zimmern wird. Dies ist auf Grund der Lage an der Hauptstraße und gegenüber eines Kirchturms (Lautstärke!) schwierig.

This property was beautiful and had great views. We really enjoyed staying here however the one thing we wish we would’ve known before booking was that our room didn’t have a shower like shown in the property’s pictures. Our room had a bathtub with a shower hose but you couldn’t shower as there was no curtains or doors.

Great cozy hideaway south of Salzburg. We were a family group of 3 and the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was super friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was great. The best of Austrian hospitality at a reasonable price. Would definitely go back!!!

Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise ist das Hotel gut geeignet. Hervorzuheben und wirklich ausgezeichnet war das Abendessen. Insbesonders das empfohlene Pfeffersteak hatte eine sehr gute Qualität und war mit den Gemüsebeilagen und den Süßkartoffelpommes mehr als reichlich. Auch der Kaiserschmarrn war luftig und locker. Top war das Servicepersonal. Sehr freundlich und flink - wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Der Kaffee aus dem Automat ist jetzt nicht so meins. Das Hotel selbst riss mich jetzt nicht vom Hocker. Es war ohne Frage alles sehr sauber. Sehr spartanische Ausstattung des Zimmers sowie des ganzen Gebäudes liessen bei mir jetzt kein Urlaubsfeeling bei einem längeren Aufenthalt aufkommen. Der Gastgarten ist zwar gross, könnte aber auch mal von Unkraut befreit werden. Herrlich sind die schattigen Bäume.. Dass sich auf der direkt daneben befindenden Liegewiese ausgerechnet während der Abendessenszeit die erwachsenen Gäste eines Kindergeburtstages lm Fussballscharfschiessen übten, war jetzt auch nicht ganz so prickelnd, zumal der Ball desöfteren auf die parkenden Autos flog. Die Lage im Zentrum von Großgmain ist gut. Fazit: Abendessen top, ebenso das Servicepersonal - deshalb auch 4 Sterne. Hotels hatte ich in dieser Kategorie schon bessere, vor allem in Sachen Wolhfühlfaktor.

Great cozy hideaway south of Salzburg. We were a family group of 3 and the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was super friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was great. The best of Austrian hospitality at a reasonable price. Would definitely go back!!!

It's a pretty nice place. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff was pretty friendly and some of them spoke English. Nothing fancy about the rooms we rented, they were singles, but some had balconies. Best part was the area.

Schönes Gebäude, schön gelegen, mit gutem Restaurant! Wir haben uns über den Aufenthalt hier sehr gefreut und jeden der vier Abende gerne im Restaurant gegessen. Sicher wäre es noch schöner wenn unser Zimmer nicht ohne Balkon im dritten Stock mit Gaubenfenster gewesen wäre aber bei einer kurzfristigen Buchung in der Hauptsaison hatten wir nicht mehr die volle Auswahl. Frühstücksbüffet war ok, aber später am Vormittag, besonders am Wochenende ging das eine oder andere aus. Das Hotel ist in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof Bayrisch Gmain zu erreichen.

Lovely friendly hotel - staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful. We felt very welcome with our toddler. Our room was large and warm with a beautiful view of the mountains. Easy parking, delicious breakfast, excellent food at the hotel restaurant and within easy reach of Salzburg and nearby winter sports. Would recommend and stay again!
