I have stayed in all five stars in Chennai many times and Hyatt always best for comfort, staff attention and service. Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. Just wish they didn’t blare pop music in garden at breakfast time. Lotus pond is special area and gentle traditional Indian music would be more in keeping in morning, Bring earplugs to breakfast if you don’t want loud pop music at 8am! That aside I highly recommend this hotel over both the Leela Palace and ITC Chola.

릴라 팰리스 호텔은 웅장함으로 인해 동선이 멀고, 식당 및 로비 분위기가 어수선한 반면.....파크 하야트는 작지만 모든시설을 알차게 갖춘 조용히 지낼수 있는 호텔이였습니다. 별 기대를 하지 않았던 저녁식사(부페)도 평타는 하는 수준이였으며, 작지만 아늑한 수영장, 최신 헬스 시설, 무료로 즐길수 있는 사우나 및 스파도 매력적인 공간이였습니다. 앞으로도 호캉스 계획이 있다면 이 호텔을 이용할 계획입니다.

At check in was informed that as I have prepaid for the room I need to clear all dining expenses at sight nothing can be charged to the room Though the room was big was dated and needs renovation. The toilet had a thin glass door without any channel which was tough to operate. The shower knobs were all out of sync There was noise of continuous flow of water from the toilet even though nothing was being used Seems like some drain line was passing through it The swimming pool was on the roof top no lift access There was no closed shower facility nor any changing room. All in all a very average experience for a park Hyatt property They really need to pull up their socks!

Great service level, large room and really cute garden for outside eating in the morning and evening. In the evening with torches creating a nice vibe. Gym well equipped and nice roof top pool. Had a great time and would be happy to come back.

The Hyatt has the most comfortable beds in Chennai, way better than most of the other five-stars (Chola hotel nearby also good beds, the Leela Palace has mattresses like hard boards). So quiet in room, had a great sleep. Breakfast also excellent and loved sitting by the lotus pond outside for breakfast (not sure about the music they play at that time of day - would prefer if it were quieter). Spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water for bath and free sauna area good, with nice, but small, roof-top pool. Definitely my preferred hotel in Chennai now, having stayed in all the top hotels over last 15 years.

Bathroom was dirty initially but they changed our room. Flying elephant DJ was terrible on Saturday nights. Service at breakfast was very poor and food was not 5 star quality. Check in and airport transfer was good. Rooms were very dark, need better lighting.

This is my second stay this year. I previously said it has the most comfortable beds in India and both rooms I stayed in this time also had amazing beds. The reason I changed room is that the staff warned me that the courtyard area (I had paid extra for a park / courtyard view room, to be away from noisy main road outside) is noisy on Saturday nights due to the DJ party until early hours. I moved to a cheaper road-view room, which was not too noisy but could hear police / ambulance sirens during the night). I did not get a refund in price difference for this night but Raj on front desk was very helpful and didn't hesitate to give me a late-checkout, to compensate. The phone in this room did not work, the sound on the TV did not work and the AC control did not work so room got too cold during night and then I had to turn off AC and it was too hot by morning. The park-view room was perfect, when I moved the following day, everything worked, had a great bath in piping hot water and also used the roof-top pool sauna, and steam room. Even if it's a bit shabby in places this hotel has a very under-stated and homely feel, unlike flashier five-stars. The lotus-pond area is delightful for outdoor breakfast and coffee. Breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing and was included in my price. Incredible value when compared to international hotels of this calibre. Probably my choice in Chennai from now on, but not for a Saturday night stay!

The Park Hyatt is a special place because of the staff at the hotel. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay as pleasant as possible. From the time you check in to the time you leave, you are given personal attention. A special shout out to Mr. Jagan, our room attendant, Mr. Madan, the concierge, Mr. Rahul, the restaurant manager, the chef, Mr. Murugan and all the staff in the MarketPlace. I also tried the Flying elephant and enjoyed the food.

The staff made our stay from July 1 to 8 very special. Every single member went above and beyond the call of duty. Beyond 5 star! Incredible service and facilities. The chef Swarmendu made custom meals for me nightly. Lucy in the spa has the gifts one hopes for in a therapist. Ganish the driver has great joy in sharing the city. Loved this property!!!

The hotel met standards of a 5-star hotel from an infrastructure standpoint. But what made the difference was the staff at the hotel. Right from reception, concierge, restaurants to room service the hotel staff were very courteous and helpful throughout our duration of stay and would like to thank them for making our stay super comfortable.

I stayed with my family for two nights in this hotel. I arrived in Chennai in an international flight and had a lot of baggage. The airport pickup was in order and the staff was very helpful in helping us checkin and settle down. We loved the food there - both the room service and buffet breakfast. They have a lot of options for the breakfast. Everything was wonderful. Definitely go for the masala chai. The stay was very comfortable. They gave us an extra bed but that was not required. The only hiccup we faced was some confusion for the airport drop. The cars were not ready but the front desk immediately arranged for a backup Uber drop and we made it on time. Lovely staff and service.

The hotel ambience is lovely and the staff are kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Maya, who served us during breakfast with kindness and a friendly welcoming manner. The breakfast buffet was outstanding-delicious and great variety. Room service: great veggie burger and panini but the Indian choices need some work. The portions and cost of the South Indian veg choices were too much- would be great if they could offer a reasonably priced thali in the dining room and with room service. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were great. We look forward to staying there again. Conveniently located near airport- the pickup from MAA was very smooth! Our driver was very understanding when we had to turn back to pick up a bag we left behind.

It was lovely experience staying at Hyatt. In Room dinning was exceptional quality of food,taste,service where exceptional. Had pleasant stay . Location is amicable it was easy to move to any location from Guindy in different directions escaping from chennai traffic and pollution.From front desk to stewards they are highly trained customer service.I wish Park Hyatt will flourish further and start more locations in chennai.

The location of the property makes it convenient to get to different parts of the city. Although it is at a busy junction, once inside your room you don’t hear the sound of the traffic. The staff were very courteous and efficient. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay there again.

Good place. Well maintained. But for the price lot of better options available. The restaurant options are limited during day time. The facility and layout not very intuitive. I would stay if I get a cheaper deal. But not for the same price as a raddison blu for example that has incredible buffet and high tech rooms.
