Hyatt Place Austin Lake Travis/Four Points

Great facility and amenities. However our room ,R121, was moldy, which was suffocating. I smelt this on the first night, but I doubted myself. The second night, the smell and stuffyness intensified. I shared this with the front office and I hope a remediation will be done before another guest is booked there.

I booked a 2 bedroom and was given a King bed with sofa bed. I booked the room 5 weeks in advance and the staff told me we are never guaranteed a room if booked through Hotels and should always book through their hotel. So why book through Hotels?? They want to advertise on hotels but want (US- the users) to book directly with the hotel cutting out hotels.com..... When I book a room I want to make sure I get that type of room booked. That's why there is choose your room types.... Makes no sense. I was very unhappy with that situation. I was also told I couldn't get a refund because we paid in full with no cancellation available so I was stuck.
